THIS IS NOT A DRILL. I REPEAT, THIS IS NOT A DRILL. Treaty Oak Revival is letting fans know their third studio record is in the works. Today, the West Texas band took to social media to send a simple but exciting message: "So it begins #3." https://twitter.com/TreatyOakMusic/status/1876327334967382091 LET'S GO. It's been 409 days since the release of their sophomore record, Have A Nice Day, which captivated existing fans and attracted many fans to the group. Have A Nice Day was released two years after their debut album, No Vacancy, but the boys were not dilly-dallying during those two years; they spent it all working on Have A Nice Day, making sure it was perfect. "10 songs 2 years in the making, and we are very proud of this one." To say they threw down on this record is an understatement. From deep cuts like "Chasing My Tail" to rip-roaring anthems like "See You In Court," this album told a complete story from top to bottom. Because of the artistry demonstrated throughout this record, fans were quick to request more. Treaty Oak Revival delivered, giving fans "Happy Face" in the fall of 2024. However, fans were hungry for more than a single. Social media comments constantly requested an acoustic record, a live album, or even an EP. They simply want more. Which is an excellent position for an artist because you know your fans will not go away.  Treaty Oak promised fans that an acoustic drop was coming "soon" in May last year, but we have yet to see that project come to life. Now that they have concluded the Meade-E-Oak’r Christmas Acoustic Tour, are rested after the new year, and have a little bit of a break before touring starts again on January 18th, they are returning to the studio. I know I am not the only one ready to hear what the group is cooking up. With many soundtrack appearances on the hit Taylor Sheridan show Landman, they are on a roll and capitalizing on the fans they've gained from the series. The group did note that its record will be more rock and roll than previous projects, and to that, I say, Bring it on. 2025 is off to a stellar start for country music.
