Jason Aldean, Brooks & Dunn To Headline Fenway Park Concert

Take me out to the ballgame Jason Aldean and Brooks & Dunn concert. The two country music acts are set to join together for one night only this spring at one of baseball's most historic venues: Fenway Park in Boston, Massachusetts. Aldean and Brooks & Dunn will co-headline the concert on Friday, May 30. The two country music acts have nearly 50 number one hits between them, and both have seen somewhat of a resurgence in recent years. Aldean might have accidentally experienced it with the bump he got from his single "Try That In A Small Town." Any publicity is good publicity, right? As for Brooks & Dunn, the legendary country music duo of Ronnie Dunn and Kix Brooks are fresh off of the release of their Reboot II album, which helped them bring home the 2024 CMA Vocal Duo of the Year award. It's just great to see the two legends back together - and that award nailed that home. Needless to say, it was a great decision for Brooks & Dunn to "reboot" (and potentially create new music), and you can tell the beloved country music duo is excited to bring their music to Fenway Park in 2025: https://twitter.com/BrooksAndDunn/status/1876615215644909681 Country music fans in the Boston area will undoubtedly be excited to see a country show in their area, but it sure sounds like the artists themselves are looking forward to taking center stage on the baseball diamond. Jason Aldean said in a statement that the venue is one of his favorite places to play, and he can't wait to share the spotlight with artists that he considers to be idols of his: "Playing Fenway Park has always been a highlight for me over the years. I love the city of Boston, the people and the energy surrounding the city. Getting to play it with some of my musical heroes, Brooks & Dunn, is going to be one for the ages.” As for Brooks & Dunn, the minds behind such classic hits as "Boot Scootin' Boogie" and "My Maria" are very much looking forward to getting back out in front of their faithful fans. Kix Brooks spoke for he and Ronnie and voiced their excitement for the shared concert in a statement: "It’s going to be a blast playing such an iconic stadium like Fenway with our buddy Jason. See you in the spring, Boston!" Tickets for the unique country concert are set to go on sale at 10 a.m. eastern time this upcoming Friday. Something tells me that the tickets will be going fast, so if you are in the Boston area - or want to make a trip out of the concert - get ready to fight bots for tickets on Friday morning. Brooks & Dunn have also hinted at new music on the horizon. In a recent interview with Billboard, Kix was asked if their CMA Award helped Brooks & Dunn refocus and become motivated to give country music fans new music. Brooks answered by saying that the accolade certainly didn’t hurt, but there were other factors that came into play to inspire new music: “It’s not that I felt like I ever lost focus on Brooks & Dunn, but it is a good point in my life, especially if we are going to make new music. That’s a little deeper commitment in terms of creative focus and really getting your head in the game and seeing if we can come up with something good. I’m sure Ronnie’s got his own idea of how that could work. But I know he’s been writing a lot of songs. He’s sending me songs all the time. Ronnie’s fired up about getting into that. And I’m certainly not going to hold him back, and I will do my best to keep up and do my part.” I'm here for it.
