Nolan Taylor Announces Headlining Tour Following The Release Of His Debut Record
If you haven't listened to Nolan Taylor's debut album yet, you're missing out.
Titled Nolan Taylor, the 16-track record released this past weekend is a masterclass in introspective songwriting as it showcases Taylor's ability to evoke emotion through his lyricism. Featuring nine brand new songs amidst seven previously released hits, Taylor's vocals shine in each track on the record, and in contrast to the typical stripped-back and acoustic instrumentation throughout his catalog, several songs feature a bigger full-band sound.
Check out a few of my favorite new songs off of the album below:
"Don't Have The Words"

"Tough and Fragile"

I highly recommend heading over to your streaming service of choice and listening all the way through Nolan Taylor's self-titled debut album. And if you're liking what you're hearing, then you're in luck, because there are plenty of opportunities to hear these songs live this spring
Taylor took to social media yesterday to announce 16 new headlining dates as sets out to tour on the new record. In addition to a handful of dates in the Northeast and Canada supporting Charles Wesley Godwin, and a couple of dates in Arkansas and Louisiana opening the show for Ole 60, Taylor will take his songs on the road and make headlining stops throughout the Southeast, Midwest, and Northeast.
Check out the new dates below to see if Nolan Taylor is coming to your city later this year.

Having spent the past couple of years honing his live show through headlining gigs and big time opening acts for bands like Lost Dog Street Band, Wyatt Flores, and The Red Clay Strays, among plenty of others, Nolan Taylor and his band put on a live show that you won't want to miss. Surrounding himself with talented musicians who all have great chemistry together on stage, Taylor's songs are often stripped back and slower in nature, but these guys aren't afraid to rock out when the opportunity presents itself.
And in addition to all of the new originals and the great music in Taylor's existing catalog, he and his band have been known to pull out some pretty cool covers in their live set as well. Last time I caught one of Taylor's shows, they covered Colby Caillat's 2007 hit "Bubbly" as well as the Grateful Dead's "Shakedown Street." And it was awesome.
Here is the full list of tour dates, including those shows opening for CWG and Ole 60.
