Feb. 12, 2025: 6:55 p.m.: Ukraine may lose territory to Russia in peace talks President Trump on Wednesday has indicated that he will be meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Saudi Arabia in the near future. He expects that there will be other meetings to follow as they enter into peace talks, according to The Hill. It appears that Ukraine may not be able to get back the territory that Russia has forcibly taken from them if they want the war to end, according to The Hill. In addition, Ukraine may not be considered an equal member in the talks. President Trump said he thinks Ukraine must, “make peace” because “their people are being killed” and that Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, “will have to do what he has to to do.” TRUMP: UKRAINE UNLIKELY TO REGAIN ALL LOST TERRITORY “I’m not making an opinion on it, but I’ve read a lot on it and a lot of people think that that’s unlikely. Some of that land will come back.”pic.twitter.com/GPUBgd9ZUb https://t.co/gINIOQQv0j — Mario Nawfal (@MarioNawfal) February 12, 2025
