Around seven years ago, a little boy named DJ Daniel was given a grave diagnosis by medical professionals. At only 6 years old, he had developed brain cancer. At that time, he was given about five months to live. Needless to say, DJ and his family were absolutely devastated. Thankfully, however, this brave kid went on to beat all the odds stacked against him. Now, at 13 years old, DJ can say he’s accomplished things he once only dreamed were possible. For example, he has always wanted to become a police officer. Since his diagnoses, he’s been sworn in as an honorary law enforcement officer a number of times.
