The Atlantic Concedes: No “War Plans” Leaked
I am still not convinced these text leaked text chains were real, and I’m sticking with my gut on that, but for now the Trump Administration and Pete Hegseth himself seem to be admitting to the leaks but claiming nothing sensitive was disclosed.
Here is Hegseth laying it out with some fire: “Nobody is texting war plans…There’s no units, no locations, no routes, no flight paths, no sources, no methods, no classified information.”

Stand strong Pete!
This is a big old nothing-burger.
And now according to Karoline Leavitt, even The Atlantic has admitted nothing in the leaked text chain was “war plans”:
The Atlantic has conceded: these were NOT “war plans.”
This entire story was another hoax written by a Trump-hater who is well-known for his sensationalist spin. pic.twitter.com/atGrDd2ymr

By the way, I have a question….
If The Atlantic believed these contained “war plans” and if they were added to the conversation by accident, don’t they bear responsibility in not publishing them?
Isn’t that just common sense?
SecDef Hegseth then took to Twitter to eviscerate the “hoax”:
So, let’s me get this straight. The Atlantic released the so-called “war plans” and those “plans” include: No names. No targets. No locations. No units. No routes. No sources. No methods. And no classified information.
Those are some really shitty war plans.
This only proves…

This only proves one thing: Jeff Goldberg has never seen a war plan or an “attack plan” (as he now calls it). Not even close.
As I type this, my team and I are traveling the INDOPACOM region, meeting w/ Commanders (the guys who make REAL “war plans”) and talking to troops.
We will continue to do our job, while the media does what it does best: peddle hoaxes.
