It’s hard to believe Happy Days went off the air more than 40 years ago. The beloved sitcom still has millions of loyal fans who cherish the chance to relive the fun through reruns and the occasional meet and greet. It’s hard not to love Richie, Fonzie, Potsie, and Ralph, and even harder to believe they’re now fathers and grandfathers. The four original Happy Days cast members, Ron Howard, Henry Winkler, Anson Williams, and Don Most, got together for their first public appearance in decades at Steel City Con in Pittsburgh on April 5. In an Instagram video on the event page, fans stood and cheered and the Happy Days cast mates walked onto the stage. It does. We’re having so much fun hanging, and this is sort of our great excuse to come together, so thank you.” Even though the men hadn’t been together in years, it truly seemed like no time had passed. The men beamed with as much excitement as the fans in the audience. Per People, Ron Howard shared his thoughts on why Happy Days was such a success and still has fans so many years later. “It was a life experience that’s unlike anything else that I’ve ever known,” Ron said. “And we had great chemistry. We had fun working together from the beginning, and it never failed us.” A fan shared on Instagram. “Ron Howard has always been my favorite…ever since he played Opie.” This person loved seeing their favorite stars, “Anson sounds identical to when he was a kid lol.” Another remembers watching the show long ago, “That’s fantastic!!!
