A new one coming in hot. Zach Top teases fans with new music during his live shows, and most recently, a Mississippi crowd got a taste of what’s in store for the future. Zach Top could ride the high of his debut record, Cold Beer & Country Music, for a little longer as the demand for his tickets is through the roof. But given that ZT wants a sustainable career, he’s not planning on coasting even though he has had a massive rise in popularity over the last year and a half. During a Q&A with Spotify at the Houston Rodeo, Zach Top confirmed that he’s almost done with his next record and that it should be released sometime this summer. “I just went in and tracked a few more songs to round out the second record. So we got that finished up and are getting it mixed right now. It’ll come out at some point in the summer. The new twanger Top played for his crowd is called “Good Times And Tan Lines.” But don’t let the title fool you into thinking this is a beach bum anthem; it still has that signature ’90s flair.
