Controversial Shooting Involving Outlaws Motorcycle Club

By James “Hollywood” Macecari – Insane Throttle Biker News A sentence of 15 years with 10 suspended was handed down to Aaron Karp of Naples Maine on April 10th 2025. Aaron Karp is a member of the Outlaws Motorcycle Club in Maine. The news coverage of an incident where the Outlaws confronted the FSU gang is terrible. The facts of the case are being reported in the news with bias as usual. The only thing being reported right now is that the Outlaws MC is a gang that everyone should fear. The incident happened July 30th, 2024. 54-year-old Susan McHugh was shot in the chest where she died at the hospital. The prosecutors claimed that she fired at the Outlaws in order to protect her husband. My sincere condolences go out to the family of Susan McHugh. I hate seeing someone killed and the family loosing their loved one. 3 others were reportedly injured as well. Prosecutors stated that they believe the deal they gave Aaron Karp was the best they were going to get. That justice has not been served. I beg to differ with his opinion, especially since the victim fired the first shots. How The Shooting of Susan McHugh Started The chain of events that led to the shooting of Susan McHugh started with members of the FSU street gang taking colors from a Christian club. This happened in full view of the cameras at Brookside Bar. These gangbangers decided it was their duty to intimidate and violently take colors from this club. You can see the news report and the actual video of the gang taking the colors in the provided video below. A Christian motorcycle club is not an organization that is going to cause trouble. Christian clubs are organizations who have Jesus and his teachings first and foremost in their minds. These types of clubs share a bond of brotherhood and sisterhood through their beliefs. I’ve heard many ask, “Why didn’t they fight back?” I get it, you’re a man before the patch, but members of Christian clubs believe in turning the other cheek. A Christian Motorcycle Club is not equipped to fight against a street gang. Once the colors were taken – I guess the Higher Calling members reached out to the Outlaws MC. This exactly what they should’ve done since they were a support club. FSU is a known violent street gang. The following is an excerpt of one of their confrontations. In 2014, another major brawl occurred in Cleveland, Ohio. Allegedly, the reason for the fight was tension between FSU members and members of another hardcore crew called “Swing On Sight Family” (6). The festival called “Fire Fest” booked bands affiliated with FSU and bands affiliated with SOSF, causing tension at the festival. A witness stated that 50 to 100 men were armed with machetes and guns. Everyone was fighting in the street outside the venue until someone fired shots in the air, resulting in everyone dispersing and fleeing. This brawl resulted in the hospitalization of 5 people and the arrest of 23 others (6). Elgin James also faced federal extortion charges in 2009 that involved FSU (6). Modern Insurgent This is just one of the incidents that involved the FSU street gang. The FBI put out a bulleting on this street gang in Chicago. The Outlaws would’ve known of the FSU reputation and were fully justified in my opinion to bring the weapons they did. They were there to get the patch back that was stolen from one of their support clubs. The prosecutors claimed that she fired at the Outlaws in order to protect her husband. Ariana St Pierre, WGME Outlaws Vs FSU From the video of the shooting you can hear the first shot came from Susan McHugh. It was then that Aaron Karp returned fire. It was claimed that she shot first because the Outlaws jumped three members of the FSU. I don’t see those three members as victims. The victims was the members of the Higher Calling MC. FSU beat them people and stole from them. It was the Outlaws that were trying to make things right. With the history of the FSU I think they were in the right to bring those weapons. They were right to lay a beat down on them before they pulled out weapons. The moment shots were fired I also believe that Aaron Karp had every right to fire back at the shooter. If someone is firing a gun at you than you have no other option than to fire back at the one shooting at you. It’s unfortunate someone had to die but this was not caused by the Outlaws. Prosecutors said this was the best they could do It the coverage of the sentencing, the prosecutor was upset. He claimed that justice had not been served. I agree with him. Aaron Karp shouldn’t of gotten any time because it was clearly self defense. His lawyer even said as much so I’m left wondering why he didn’t take it to the box. Maybe Aaron Karp just wanted it over with I guess. But for that prosecutor to say justice wasn’t served is laughable. What happened I wonder to those three that stole the vest of a member of a Christian motorcycle club? Besides Karp six other members of the Outlaws will be tried together. They face a variety of charges including elevated aggravated assault. There is no date set for them yet as of this report. With the history of the FSU I think they were in the right to bring those weapons. They were right to lay a beat down on them before they pulled out weapons. James Hollywood Macecari I’m hoping that the remainder of the Outlaws get a fair trial. It is almost a sure bet the prosecutors will try the Outlaws Motorcycle Club instead of the six. They’re going to weave a web of chaos and destruction for the jury in order to get a conviction. It won’t matter that there is video evidence of what the FSU members did. All that’s going to matter is putting the Outlaws on trial and getting a conviction. This isn’t justice in my opinion. This was clearly a self defense case and if anything the three members who stole the colors should be the ones in jail. Let me know what you all think.
