“Thank God President Trump Is Back” – Justin Moore Is Done Caring What People Think Of His Political Opinions

Sounds like the crowd agrees. Justin Moore has never really been afraid to say what’s on his mind. He made headlines a few years ago when he called out the country music awards shows for chasing ratings with pop stars and other celebrities and forgetting about actual country artists, and while it may not have been popular in boardrooms in Nashville, it was definitely popular among country music fans who have been saying the same thing. The “Small Town USA” singer has also never been shy about making his politics known. He was one of the only country artists who had the balls to publicly endorse Donald Trump way back in 2016, and when Trump was inaugurated for his second term earlier this year, Justin was in DC to celebrate his return to the White House. But at a recent concert, he decided to make sure everybody knew just how he felt about 47: “Something else I don’t care about, and I’ve really never cared about it, but I just say it now. And put it on YouTube, I don’t care: Thank GOD President Trump is back. Thank God.” @melly10694 #justinmoore #trump #usa #khayfest2025 #thankgod ♬ original sound – Mel Amen. Seems like based on the comments, pretty much everybody agreed with him, so I don’t expect Justin’s going to be losing too many fans for making his politics known…but then again, if they were a Justin Moore fan to begin with, they probably weren’t expecting a guy with a song called “Guns” to be a Kamala Harris supporter anyway. Justin has always made clear that he believes in the Bible and the Constitution, and has said in the past that it’s “mind-blowing” that it’s become controversial to say that. His song “Guns” from early in his career made perfectly clear where he stood on the issue of the 2nd Amendment: “Guns, whether Remingtons or Glocks Come on man it ain’t like I’m slingin’ ’em on the block I’m gonna tell you once, and listen son As long as I’m alive and breathing, You won’t take my guns” In introducing the song at a show, Justin told the crowd back in 2015: “I go back to my grandpa who retired out of the Air Force, and I go back to my grandpa who retired out of the Navy, and I think about it and I go, ‘Man, this country today is not the country that both of them fought for.’ Slowly but surely we’ve had one thing taken from us, then another, then another. Right after right after right after right. After awhile they want us to become immune to it. They want us to become desensitized to it… My record label goes ‘Don’t tell people the way you vote.’ I’m gonna tell you right now, I’m a Republican. I’m gonna tell you right now, I’m conservative. I believe in the Bible. I’m gonna tell you right now, as long as I’m alive, as long as I’m breathing, ain’t nobody gonna take my guns.” And during an appearance on Fox News, Justin was asked about the clip from 2015 – and he doubled down on the changes that we’ve seen in the current political and social climate, even admitting that speaking out may not be the best thing for his career: “I do, which my label and my family and everybody goes, ‘What is he doing?’… That’s not popular to say that I believe in the Bible. That’s mind-blowing to me that that’s not popular. I believe in the Constitution. It’s mind-blowing to me that that’s political.” Popular or not, you’re always going to know exactly where Justin stands. The post “Thank God President Trump Is Back” – Justin Moore Is Done Caring What People Think Of His Political Opinions first appeared on Whiskey Riff.
