Zach Top Fans Go Viral For Lifting Young Woman In A Wheelchair Up To See The Stage At Auburn Rodeo

This is what it’s all about. Country music fans are some of the best out there, and I stand by that statement. Whether they are looking out for fans in the pit who need water or getting a performer’s attention so the medical team can safely remove someone from the pit, country fans look out for each other. And we have seen acts of kindness like this time and time again. Don’t get me wrong, it gets a little rowdy at times and there’s always a couple intoxicated clowns, but by in large, you can find a ton of really great people at a country concert. During the recent Zach Top show at the Auburn Rodeo, we were reminded how great country music fans are when they helped a disabled fan see the stage. The Auburn Rodeo is an event that is primarily standing room only, especially for the concert portion. There is a VIP area that gives fans closer access to the stage, but it’s not like an arena show where everyone has a designated seat unless you are in the pit. This makes the viewing experience harder for fans with disabilities. However, for one young woman in a wheelchair, the crowd had her back and ensured she got to see Zach Top on stage. During “Lonely For Long,” a group of gentlemen lifted the woman into the air, giving her a prime view of the stage. You can tell from the video the woman posted that she was a little nervous at first, and rightfully so. You have a group of strangers lifting you up in your wheelchair; a lot could go wrong. But, this group was going to protect her at all costs, with one man yelling: “Come on, we got you, baby!” Once she was in the air, she was reassured that she would not be dropped. The young woman was living her best life singing along to the song’s chorus, and you can tell from her face that she is so thankful to this group of men for allowing her to have this moment. Given that Zach Top is in the middle of the song, he didn’t pull a huge gesture like Jelly Roll once did in a similar situation, telling fans to get his fan up to the stage, but he acknowledged how cool it was by grinning and tipping his head in her direction, and giving a small wave. @chris10wig Yall help me find these guys!!
