“Just Barked At My Phone”- Riley Green Fans Are Feral For His Golf Attire At The First Annual Charity Golf Tournament

New character unlocked. Even thought Riley Green‘s comment section might over look the charitable work that’s being done while he’s on the green, your dilligent reporters here at Whiskey Riff are here to look at the great contributions Green is making to the community AND here to give you the run down on the unhinged comments his fans leave. Talk about the best of both worlds. On Thursday at the Silver Lakes Golf Course in Anniston, Alabama, Riley Green hosted the first annual Buford Bonds Foundation Golf Tournament, bringing together 130 golfers and 31 teams for play for a charitable cause. Money raised from the event went to support the Buford Bonds Foundation, which Green established in 2023 to honor his late grandfathers, Buford Green and Lendon Bonds. The foundation supports a multitude of charities, including military-focused causes like Folds of Honor and Tunnel to Towers, as well as children’s health charities such as St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and ACM Lifting Lives. “A lot of our charities that we support with the foundation are military stuff, Folds of Honor, things like that, and they were both in the armed forces, but just great role models. My granddaddy Lendon played golf at Stoney Brook about every day with his brothers, and I learned to play golf with him. And my granddad, Buford, was a real witty guy, and probably where I got a lot of my songwriting ability from.” Green said to Yahoo! Sports.  Green felt honored throughout the entire day, not only for the support from those who showed up for the event, but also from his hometown community, where the tournament was held. “Thank you all so much … It’s been great to take the success that I’ve been able to have on the road, and how blessed I am to be able to put it into something that’s a positive thing for everybody, much like all the years I played in every Mexican restaurant around here, always had a lot of support in this area. So thank y’all so much for coming out.” While the golf tournament had a lot of sentimental meaning behind it, Green knows that to have a successful event, you also have to get out there and have some fun. On his social media, the day of the tournament, he shared a new character from his recent impersonation series, laying down a small-town golf coach, and boy, did he nail it. While chewing on a cigar, he jokes that there were a lot of “good ole boys” out on the course that day. @rileyduckman Tee time. #BufordBondsCharityGolfTournament #rileygreen ♬ original sound – Riley Green After the tournament, he shared another post again thanking everyone who came out, which included PGA legend John Daly and outlaw country legend Jamey Johnson. “The first annual Buford Bonds Foundation Golf Tournament was a huge success. Thanks to everyone who donated or came out to play with us.” Just like many other Riley Green’s posts, women flocked to the comments, lusting after his country club attire. “That’s one fine man Riley” “Just when I thought you couldn’t get any cooler….dang!” “How do I get a private lesson?” “Riley Golfman.” “Zaddy chillll.” “Snack cake” “I just barked at my phone.” “He’s got that super strong baseball grip” “Should be illegal.” “Daddy Duckman.” Some women are out there looking at Riley Green, meanwhile, I’m cackling at Jamey Johnson’s picture from this photo dump. Man’s a legend for hitting the course in flip flops. Congrats, Riley Green, on pulling off a successful tournament that supports a good cause. Can’t wait to see what next year has in store for the Buford Bonds Foundation Golf Tournament. The post “Just Barked At My Phone”- Riley Green Fans Are Feral For His Golf Attire At The First Annual Charity Golf Tournament first appeared on Whiskey Riff.
