A fan favorite is finally making its way to an album. Megan Moroney fans have something to celebrate going into the weekend, as one of their favorite songs from her vault is making its way to the tracklist on her next record. During a recent interview, Megan Moroney shared a snippet of what’s in store for her third studio record. While there are still limited details on the record, Moroney did disclose during a recent chat with Elaina Smith that her unreleased fan favorite, “Wedding Dress,” would be on the record. Megan Moroney initially shared this track in 2022, before releasing her debut record, Lucky. The video had a resurgence at the end of 2024, with fans hoping she would release the song in 2025. While there isn’t a solid release date in sight, fans can rejoice knowing that this song will see the light of day soon. Moroney shared this information after mishearing Smith asking: “What’s the status of MM3,” hearing it as “What’s the saddest song.” “The saddest, uh, is a song called ‘Wedding Dress,’ that I’ve teased on TikTok. Yep, that one is making the album. I don’t know…that’s the first time I’m saying that out loud. I didn’t get approval to do that, but it’s literally fine.  But yeah, it’s a song called ‘Wedding Dress,’ and the whole premise of the song is like I’m okay with missing him now, but just like please don’t let me miss him in a wedding dress. That’s about as sad as it gets, but I will say, on average, assuming that I don’t write a bunch of sad songs in the next however many months that I have some time to do it, it’s a lot happier this next album.  Vibing.
