On ANZAC Day, an Australian solider clashed with a journalist at the Shrine of Remembrance in Melbourne. (For those overseas ANZAC Day is when we in Australia and New Zealand Commemorate & respect both our returned and fallen soliders. The solider claimed that many ADF veterans don’t attend the Dawn Service because they don’t like being welcomed to their own country by Aboriginal activists. “It’s not the right time or place for it. Being welcomed to the country we fight and die for is a slap in the face.”
