The book captures Lisa Marie’s life in her own words, including her childhood at Graceland and her identity as a mother. Riley described the writing experience as emotional, revealing how much she admired her mother’s honesty. After Lisa Marie’s passing, Riley became the sole trustee of the Graceland estate even though her grandmother, Priscilla Presley, challenged her. However, the dispute has been settled quietly, and the family is back on good terms. She and Priscilla later attended the 75th Primetime Emmys together to show their reconciliation.
