Another person agrees, adding that “Ground scouring shows how strong the tornado really was. The zigzag [pattern suggests] pretty high wind seeds, high end ef3 [to] low end ef5 wind speeds. That was a strong tornado.” Footage of a Kentucky Tornado’s Path Showcases the Immense Power of This Storm At first glance, it may seem like the tornado went through an open field. On the contrary, this is a highly dense forest. Evidence of its path are where full grown trees were uprooted. The impact was so intense, in fact, that evidence can be seen from a satellite point of view.
