The cat sits calmly in his box, watching every step of meal preparation. His intensity is captivating. Tilting his head this way and that, he watches closely as each piece of potato peel flings into the trash bag. His mouth moves as if he is tasting the air to make sure his dad isn’t throwing out the good stuff. They can only serve food approved by the kitchen manager.
