German Public TV: Charlie Kirk Responsible for His Own Death

German Public TV blames Charlie Kirk for his death, calling him a racist misogynist.

They went there--German Public TV, subsidized by government-mandated license fees, is arguing that Charlie Kirk enraged people because he was a racist misogynist who hit people's rage buttons.

Of course, they say it is unacceptable to celebrate Kirk's murder, but, well, you know he deserved it...

These people are scum.

Similarly, The New York Times spread a hoax about Kirk--that he held certain views that he quoted and then criticized. They, of course, released a correction well after the fact, and one that almost nobody will see.

Oops.

The paper of record.

The extent to which "journalists" are eager to engage in slander against people with whom they disagree is breathtaking. They know that this tactic is effective with those who still, for some insane reason, trust them, so they are happy to do it.

It is a variation of the "Fine People" hoax. Take a snippet out of context, make it say what you want, and pound it into the ground.

In this case, they snipped out Charlie describing views he found offensive, and the Times assigned them to Kirk.

The primary objective is to slander and dehumanize one's opponents. And when it comes from the "paper of record" or government-supported media, it is particularly harmful.

This is why I keep calling the media "Pravda." They are propagandists engaged in what amounts to a psychological operation to give permission to people to hate others and do violence. In fact, for many of them, that is the goal.

When I hear the ol' "I don't approve of violence, but...," I hear the but as the most important part of the sentence. The first part is boilerplate.
