Koe Wetzel Says He’s Sitting On Piles & Piles Of New Music: “We’re Really Excited About It”

A big year ahead for the Texas rocker. The last two years have been a whirlwind for Koe Wetzel. He’s still riding high from his last LP, 9 Lives, in 2024, which led to his first-career #1 hit on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart with “High Road” featuring Jessie Murph. In terms of his personal life, Koe also welcomed his first child, Woods Madison Wetzel, with longtime girlfriend Bailey Fisher on May 23, 2025, marking a year full of changes for him. And while fans did not get much new music from Wetzel this year, his releases included two singles, “Surrounded” and “Werewolf,” and a collaboration with Corey Kent titled “Rocky Mountain Low.” But the lack of a full-length project from Wetzel in 2025 did not mean that he wasn’t busy in the studio. According to Wetzel, he has recorded not one but TWO records over the past year. Though there’s no scheduled release date, he promised that new music is coming soon. “We’ve got some new music coming. I don’t know exactly when the release date’s gonna be, but a lot of new music. I think we’re sitting on like two records now. We’re excited about all the new music and finishing up the tour and hunting season.” @roaddogtx ROAD DOG EXCLUSIVE: @Koe Wetzel confirms 2 new records are finished and on the way! #koewetzel #koewetzelmusic #newmusic #countrymusic #countrymusictiktoks ♬ Something to Talk About – Koe Wetzel While fans were foaming at the mouth to hear that news, during a recent interview with Country Countdown USA, it sounds like he has a lot of music coming this year and is already in the studio working on even more. “Yeah, we’re coming, man. We got piles and piles of new music stored away. All dropping in 2026. I’m going back to write here, once the holidays are through we’re going to start on some more new music. So, 2025 for us was just kind of a rebuild year. You know, we toured with Hardy, and it was just kind of a we got in the studio and cut as much music as possible in 2025, and we did that. We got one hell of a record, you know, I think. In my opinion, every artist is going to say that their newest record is the best one that they’ve ever done. But for me, this batch of songs and this sound that we’ve kind of come together with, it’s awesome. This whole new sound to me has continued, and it’s… I don’t know, we’re really excited about it.” And fans are excited about the forthcoming sound that Wetzel has teased, too. In November, the “Too High To Cry” singer shared a taste of the new music he’s been working on with fans, sending a text via his fan club number asking which song they liked best: “Which song #1-6?” Give ’em all to us. Koe Wetzel has a lot in the pipeline for 2026, and we are ready. Jelly Roll Hilariously Narrates The Chaos That Ensues At The Farm When Bunnie Xo Is Away: “Haven’t Even Been Gone 12 Hours”

Chaos on the farm. It’s clear who runs the Bunnie Xo and Jelly Roll farm from a recent social media post that Bunnie shared. Last year, Bunnie Xo and Jelly Roll moved to a massive 500-acre farm in Tennessee. The “Son Of A Sinner” singer got emotional about everything that he’s overcome to be able to finally buy his own property: “Generational curses were broken because of y’all. I’m standing on it. I am standing here breaking a generational curse right now, and I hope that inspires one of y’all to do the same thing. I love y’all.” View this post on Instagram It did not take long for the DeFord family to embrace farm life and quickly created a herd of animals, first purchasing three mini-cows named Crunch, Brownie, and S’more to their family. And Jelly could barely contain his excitement when they arrived at the start of the year: @xomgitsbunnie Our lil’ farm is starting #jellyandbunnie ♬ original sound – Bunnie Xo The farm also has miniature donkeys on the land, but if you’ve tuned into any of Bunnie Xo’s content over the last year, you know that she has a special bond with her miniature cows. Bunnie Xo often spends time in their pasture loving on them and spending time with the big, fluffy, gentle giants. View this post on Instagram And based on some recent footage from the farm, it’s apparent that when Bunnie Xo is gone, the cows know the boss lady isn’t home and use it as a prime opportunity to act out. In a post on December 29, Bunnie Xo shared that she’s currently in Las Vegas on a trip and received some comical footage from what was happening back in Tennessee. “Me and the crew flew into Vegas last night, and I woke up this morning to a series of videos from my husband of what’s going on at the farm while we’re gone.”  Bunnie Xo then inserts the footage her husband sent her, showing their highland bull Crunch wandering freely outside his pasture and someone trying to catch the cow. “Crunch has gotten out. Uh oh. This is what happens when you’re not here, mama. When the cat’s away, the mice will play!” Once Crunch is roped, he puts up a fight, not wanting to return to his home, and in the process of trying to get Crunch into the field, the other highland, S’more, makes a break for it. “Oh, here comes S’more! Run, S’more, run!” Viewers hilariously hear Jelly Roll say from behind the camera. The break S’more made was much more successful, as he swiftly moved down the driveway and kept running whenever anyone tried to approach him with food. Hopefully, they got S’more back into the pasture, but Jelly Roll’s footage left viewers on a cliffhanger, not showing how they brought him back into his field. It’s evident that Bunnie Xo is the boss lady for the farm and keeps those animals in line. But hey, what’s the fun in having a farm if you can’t laugh at the chaos like this? Farm life looks good on Bunnie Xo and Jelly Roll. Riley Green Is Glad He Did Not Rise To Fame In His 20s: “It Would’ve Been Ugly”

Glad it was gradual. Riley Green has had a very successful year in 2025, which included winning multiple big awards for his duet with Ella Langley, “You Look Like You Love Me,” as well as selling out shows all over the country on his Damn Country Music tour. He didn’t put out a ton of new music, aside from the deluxe edition of his 2024 album Don’t Mind If I Do, in addition to his Midtown Sessions EP, but fans didn’t get a full album, though it sounds like that is coming soon. While Green has achieved success that most artists dream of, and he has no plans of slowing down, if you had asked the “Worst Way” singer a few years ago, he thought he’d still be working his construction job and singing covers on the side. Last year, during a conversation on the God’s Country Podcast, Green revealed that he never imagined the commercial success he’s now found with his music. Green admitted that he was comfortable playing dive bars for the rest of his life and going about his construction job. “I never had any visions of major success. Like sign a record deal…no…and I know there are people who always dreamed… I played three sports in school and played a little football in college; I assumed I was going to play a couple of shows on the weekend for $150 a night and build houses for the rest of my life. That’s just what I thought I was going to do.” Green then elaborates that it was even more shocking that people related to his songwriting when he began to pen his own tunes, because he never saw himself as a songwriter. “I didn’t write because I thought I was good at writing songs. I got tired of playing the same covers all the time, so I tried to write some stuff that people might think is funny or whatever…” @godscountrypodcas From building houses to a #CMA Awards Winner . @Riley Green on #godscountry talking music, songwriting, and his #nashville #countrymusic journey. #rileygreen #construction #dreambig #countryboy #songwriter #podcast ♬ original sound – thegodscountrypodcast Riley Green’s story proves that deserving talent will make its way to the limelight. However, Riley Green says he is thankful the world didn’t discover his name and music until he was a little older. On a recent sit-down with the Like A Farmer Podcast, the Alabama native shared that he feels that if the spotlight had been on him at a younger age, he might not have been able to navigate it well. “I think if I would have had any type of success similar to this when I was in my early 20s, it would’ve been ugly.” Riley Green says that with more life experience under his belt, he’s able to accept fame without getting caught up in it and knows how to step back and ground himself when needed. “You get a little bit mature, and you can kinda step back from things a little easier as you get older. I was really fortunate that my success was really gradual.” Wise words from the 37-year-old. With looks like Riley Green, I can only imagine that he’d get caught up in girls swooning over him at a young age. All jokes aside, I think this is a really interesting perspective: he is glad he found fame at an older age, and it’s not something you hear often from folks. But when you see young stars reach insane levels of fame overnight, it can be tough to make the adjustment. Some handle it well, some crash and burn, losing touch with their roots and what made fans fall in love with them in the first place. Riley Green is a perfect example of someone who has remained true to his roots, and introspective thoughts like this prove his humility.
