The Biden administration hinted that it may attempt to obstruct a congressional investigation into efforts to censor right-leaning outlets‚ documents revealed. In a letter to the House Small Business Committee Chairman Roger Williams (R-TX)‚ the State Department informed investigators that they may be forced to view documents pertaining to a congressional probe into the agency’s support of censorship in an “in camera setting.” Such a threat could limit the committee’s access to documents in its probe of the Global Engagement Center‚ the State Department’s subagency that in recent years has emerged as a financial backer of censorship efforts. The State Department’s letter came in response to the committee’s apparent release of “sensitive but unclassified” documents to the Washington Examiner. “I am writing to express the Department’s deep concern regarding certain information that appears to have been publicly released by the Committee without prior consultation with the Department‚” wrote Naz DurakoÄŸlu‚ the State Department’s assistant secretary bureau of legislative Affairs‚ on Feb. 14.  “The Committee made no effort to consult with the Department to protect or even ascertain any particular sensitivities before making the information public‚” DurakoÄŸlu whined after claiming the Examiner may have jeopardized GEC’s programs. As a consequence‚ the State Department threatened to force the congressional investigators to only view documents in an “in camera setting‚” limiting the spread of documents and most disturbingly‚ strangling out media coverage of the infamous censorship efforts. Williams and Rep. Beth Van Duyne (R-TX) rebuked the threat in a Friday letter to Rubin. “Not only is this an impermissible standard‚ but it improperly hinders congressional oversight‚” the lawmakers wrote‚ according to the Examiner. MRC Free Speech America Vice President Dan Schneider also scolded the State Department’s threats in response. “The State Department can manufacture any lazy ass justification to deny the American public the right to see government records. The story reported how GEC funded even more censorship activities‚ including a grant to an entity called Albany Associates. The money was intended “to counter terrorist group narratives” in 2019 and to fight “disinformation surrounding mass casualty attacks” in 2021. The West Virginia House of Delegates passed a bill last Friday that would remove criminal exemptions for schools‚ public libraries and museums that distribute “obscene matter” to a minor. This means that if a school librarian gives a student a book about how to masturbate‚ that librarian can go to jail. House Bill 4654 passed late last week by a vote of 85-12.  “State Code defines obscene matter as anything an average person believes depicts or describes sexually explicit conduct‚ nudity‚ sex or certain bodily functions; or anything a reasonable person would find lacks serious literary‚ artistic‚ political or scientific value‚” News and Sentinel reported. One issue that could present itself is that the word “obscene” is sort of down to individual interpretation. Something that may be “obscene” for a 20-year-old Gen Z'er may be different than something that’s considered “obscene” to a boomer. Nonetheless‚ this bill seeks to protect kids from indoctrinating and grooming content‚ which has become more and more prominent in schools in recent years. Whether it's books about masturbating‚ graphic novels about how to film and watch pornography or lessons about why and how you’re transgender‚ people who are supposed to look out for and be advocates for kids are the very people grooming them! Critics insisted that this bill was just another conservative attempt to ban books. That’s‚ of course‚ not true and as News and Sentinel reported‚ “It merely provides the same prohibition against knowingly providing obscene materials to children outside the supervision of parents and guardians that already exist.” Basically‚ kids shouldn't have access to content that is obscene at places like school‚ public libraries and museums.  Bill sponsor‚ Brandon Steele‚ insisted that the bill is necessary to protect kids. “I’m here to protect our young people and make sure they are not put in a vulnerable position where they are presented with pure pornography in an effort to groom them and prepare them for a potential sexual abuse or sexual assault‚” Steele said according to WTAP‚ a local West Virginia news station.  Employees of any of those places who are caught giving or showing minors any bits of obscene matter can face up to $25‚000 in fines or up to five years in prison‚ or both. The bill will now move on to the Senate before‚ if passed‚ it becomes state law.

The “Take Our Border Back Convoy‚” a multistate convoy of Americans dubbed “God’s Army‚” arrived at the Cornerstone Children’s Ranch in Quemado‚ Texas‚ on February 2. The media were on hand in force to meet the convoy. Judging from the headlines the previous week‚ the press seemed to expect violence — maybe even the start of another civil war. What they found instead was free speech‚ truth‚ and revival.Too bad that wasn’t what they reported.Even if the American media failed to report the whole truth‚ the rally at Cornerstone Children’s Ranch was a success.The Cornerstone Children’s Ranch sits approximately 300 yards north of the Rio Grande. Cornerstone’s mission was almost thwarted by COVID-19. Since then‚ vandalism and theft by illegal border-crossers have made it increasingly difficult for the organization to meet the needs of the local poor. I bet you didn’t see that on the news‚ either. The media and its sycophants have forgotten that the United States of America exists because 248 years ago our forefathers knew that resistance to tyranny is obedience to God. Armed with that morality‚ a handful of farmers and merchants were able to defeat the greatest military superpower on the planet. That DNA lives on in every single member of God’s Army. But now when we catch the cartel loads‚ their cargo is children. Last August‚ 20 miles down river‚ I ran into a group coming up the banks of the Rio Grande. It was a woman and six children. She was a Hispanic lady carrying an African baby. When she saw me‚ she burst into tears‚ not because they had all just made it safely through the currents but because when she locked eyes with me‚ she knew that I knew that wasn’t her baby. She knew I had just caught her trafficking a toddler and several children into the country. She knew that I knew what his future had in store‚ because of her. In the old days when children were apprehended at the border‚ there was no way to determine parentage. Donald Trump changed that by requiring biometric DNA testing. If you weren’t proven to be the parent of the child you were requesting‚ you didn’t get that child. The Biden administration ended that policy. Now you have just a small glimpse into why the Biden administration has turned out to be the best thing ever for the Mexican cartels’ bottom line. Now you can understand why the Biden administration was so hell-bent to have the press demonize God’s Army and suppress the truth about the border. If America ever knew the facts about what happens because of the open border‚ it would bring down the Biden administration. In the end‚ God’s Army wanted the world to know that they support Governor Greg Abbott when he asks Joe Biden to follow the law and protect us from invasion. Even if the American media failed to report the whole truth‚ the rally at Cornerstone Children’s Ranch was a success. For the first time in the three years since the Capitol protest on January 6‚ Americans weren’t afraid to let their voices be heard en masse. They proved that freedom triumphs over fear. They reopened the front gate to free speech for the rest of the nation. The following Sunday I was shocked to see that some of my comments had been picked up by a news organization … in Hong Kong. To live to see the day when China would report truth that American press wouldn’t truly made last week feel like the media was finally and totally dead.

In celebration of Presidents' Day 2024‚ the Presidential Greatness Project asked a list of “presidential experts” to rank all past and present American presidents — and the final list reveals just how little the “experts” know. 525 respondents were invited to participate‚ and the result was a list of presidents ranked in order from best to worst. Number one was Abraham Lincoln‚ which both Glenn Beck and Stu Burguiere disagree with. “He’s in the top five‚” Glenn says‚ before Stu reveals that he would replace his spot at number one with George Washington‚ who was placed at number three by the “experts.” “Washington was one that demonstrated how to use power‚” Glenn explains‚ adding that he “was a reluctant president.” Number two is Franklin Roosevelt‚ which Pat Gray vehemently disagrees with. “FDR is one of the absolute worst. He’s bottom five‚ bottom five for sure‚” Gray says‚ to which Glenn and Stu agree. At number four is Theodore Roosevelt‚ which Glenn recognizes as “another progressive” who’s all about state power. Thomas Jefferson came in at number five‚ which is understandable as he penned the Declaration of Independence — but is another progressive. “I guarantee‚ some of these historians‚ if you looked at their Twitter feeds‚ would be advocating for the tearing down of their statues‚” Stu says. “Look at their George Floyd feeds at the time‚ as they were encouraging Washington and Jefferson statues to come down.” Barack Obama came in at number seven and Joe Biden at number 14. “Biden being there is not all that shocking because of recency bias. Obama I’m expecting‚ and you know the end of this‚ of course‚ everyone probably knows by now‚ is Trump in last‚” Stu says. Will Friedle and Rider Strong‚ along with "Boy Meets World" co-star Danielle Fishel‚ explained that they had a strange relationship with a former guest star on the show who was later convicted of sex offenses.On the group's podcast "Pod Meets World‚" the trio discussed "the difficult subjects of grooming‚ childhood sexual abuse and their effects on victims‚" alongside a family therapist.Friedle and Strong particularly recalled the relationship they had with actor Brian Peck ("X-Men‚" "Living Dead") who was convicted of sexually abusing a minor a few years after the ABC sitcom ended in 2004.According to TMZ‚ Peck was accused of molesting an unidentified Nickelodeon child actor and took a plea deal to reduce his sentence‚ which ended up being a reported 16 months. Friedle explained that he became close with Peck soon after joining the show. Friedle played Eric Matthews‚ with his real life age ranging between 16-23 years old during the course of the show's seven-year run."I didn’t really go to parties. I didn’t really do that stuff. But I was working a lot after ‘Boy Meets World‚’ and this guy had so ingratiated himself into my life‚ I took him to three shows after 'Boy Meets World.'"Strong‚ who played Shawn Hunter and was between 13-20 during the show‚ said he and Peck "hung out all the time‚" Variety reported‚ despite there being a near 20-year age difference.Fishel‚ who was Topanga Lawrence on the show‚ did not spend as much time with Peck during her time as a 12-19-year-old actress."All the years of having stand-ins‚ no one ever‚ do I remember‚ regularly went to lunch with the cast members. But this person did and part of that’s because‚ when they arrived on set‚ they were extremely charming. They were very personable. They had a lot of jokes‚" she explained."They also‚ because of their many years of experience working in the entertainment industry‚ knew other‚ very successful‚ famous kids and young men and regularly talked about them."Fishel also said that other adults refrained from questioning why the young actors were "going to lunch" or going to Strong's house "for a party" with Peck likely out of fear of appearing homophobic‚ due to Peck being gay."There was probably a part of them that didn’t say it because they were afraid it was going to be taken as homophobia‚ instead of‚ ‘This is a boundary‚ gay or not. This is a boundary about adults and kids‚'" Fishel said. "I also think that’s important in the story of Rider and Will‚ about why he befriended the two of you so closely. And I did have lunch with him a couple of times‚ but only because someone else would invite me … He didn’t really make an effort to get to know me. He didn’t ingratiate himself as much into my life. And it doesn’t change what you did to my kid‚'" Friedle recalled. "I just sat there wanting to die. It was like‚ ‘What the hell am I doing here?’ It was horrifying all the way around."Strong then detailed that he saw Peck years later at a party and finally realized he peddled "nonsense" by constantly referencing famous people who he thought "validate him and put him in a category of Hollywood royalty.""He did that constantly when we were on the set of 'Boy Meets World' and I never saw it because it was so effortless. Tucker Carlson revealed in a spirited conversation Tuesday with nationally syndicated radio host and co-founder of Blaze Media Glenn Beck that his tour of foreign nations has little to do with those destinations and everything to do with the United States — a nation he would like see restored to greatness or at the very least boosted back to the domestic and international prowess it apparently enjoyed circa 1993. During his first interview in the U.S. since his return from Russia‚ the titular head of the Tucker Carlson Network broached various topics with Beck‚ nearly all linked back to the health and integrity of the United States. Before the duo delved too deeply into matters directly affecting the U.S.‚ Beck pressed Carlson on recent critiques over his Russian reportage‚ for which critics have pulled the Cold War term "useful idiot" out of retirement; forced parallels to the Soviet propaganda peddled by the New York Times' Pulitzer-winning Walter Duranty; made accusations of economic illiteracy; and‚ in the case of Bill Kristol‚ demanded Carlson's exile. Carlson recently interviewed Russian President Vladimir Putin‚ then joined Muscovites in traversing the Soviet-constructed Moscow Metro system‚ wherein he marveled at the Russian capital's apparently clean and orderly underground. Carlson also visited a grocery store in hopes of ascertaining firsthand whether sanctions on the Slavic nation have had an impact on citizens' shopping experience. "Coming to a Russian grocery store‚ the 'heart of evil‚' and seeing what things cost and how they live — it will radicalize you against our leaders‚" Carlson said in the video. "That's how I feel‚ anyway: radicalized. We're not making any of this up‚ by the way. At all." Beck told Carlson Tuesday that it would not be hard to replicate such cleanliness and order if one would allow for the kind of totalitarian overreach and bloodletting seen in nations like North Korea; that behind such glimmers of utopia lurk monstrous systems alien to America. "There's a lot of people on the right and the left that are both saying‚ 'Screw the Constitution. We need a radicalized leader‚'" said Beck. "When you look at Orban‚ I think Orban is great for his country. That's not our system. ... Moscow might be great. Love to visit. That's not our system‚" said Beck. "The only path forward for America is through the Declaration of Independence‚ the Bill of Rights‚ and the Constitution." Carlson agreed‚ making expressly clear over the course of the interview that contrary to recent complaints leveled against him‚ he is neither a flack for Putin nor a fan of strongman authoritarianism. Rather‚ he suggested that the point of his foreign travels was to shake Americans out their resignation to the very domestic trends steering America off the path Beck mentioned and toward authoritarianism. — (@) "The people that run our country are destroying it‚ and they're doing it on purpose‚" said Carlson. Carlson indicated that this engineered demographic upheaval is taking place amidst an imported opioid epidemic‚ costly multilateral initiatives abroad that overstretch the U.S.‚ manufactured race hatred‚ and lawlessness. He suggested to Beck that the destruction under way and the disenchantment that follows are altogether a means to break down resistance to a potential statist overcorrection and authoritarian regime. "We have the laws. They're not being enforced on purpose‚" said Carlson. "And of course the reason is because people will lose faith in liberal democracy‚ and they will welcome a strongman‚ and that's exactly what this about." While quick to attribute this program to the left‚ Carlson also credited the "quisling right on Capitol Hill." "The communists did it. It's the color revolution. And it's Cloward-Piven‚" said Beck. "It's happening right in front of our eyes." According to Carlson‚ the result and aim of this alleged project is that "people are just going to give up. They're not going to vote‚ [thinking]‚ 'They're going to steal the elections‚ just as they stole the last one‚' which they did — sorry." "And they're going to steal the next one‚ and people are just going to be like‚ 'You know what? I don't even care. I just totally give up. This is crazy. Just get the bums off my street. Rowling dismantled trans ideology on Tuesday in a blistering takedown of activists who defend putting "trans-identified male sex offenders" in jails with biological women.This week‚ the "Harry Potter" author has brought renewed attention to an issue near to her heart: the danger that women face when authorities put biological men who identify as transgender into prisons meant for biological women. Rowling believes such policies use women as "validation tools" and "emotional support props" for the transgender offenders.According to Rowling‚ trans activists hate her advocacy for biological female prisoners because admitting that female prisoners deserve protection from biological male predators would "crumble" their entire ideology. "Such activists can't bring themselves to concede that a man who was convicted of harming women/girls ought not to be incarcerated with the demographic to whom he is a proven danger‚ because if they do‚ all their stock arguments ... are exposed as the lies they are‚" she said.Those stock arguments‚ Rowling explained‚ include defending sexual predators to bolster trans ideology‚ claiming trans women do not harm biological women‚ and arguing that making all spaces divided by biological sex (like bathrooms and locker rooms) into unisex spaces is not dangerous."If they admit that even a single man isn't a woman because he says he is‚ the entire edifice of gender identity ideology crumbles‚" Rowling said. — (@) Even worse‚ Rowling highlighted how such trans activists are more concerned about virtue-signaling than actually protecting vulnerable people. Former president Donald Trump has been convicted of fraud in New York and is facing a $355 million fine. Now‚ he’s warning the state that businesses will flee if the charges levied against him aren’t overturned. However‚ New York’s governor has promised that other businesses have nothing to worry about. Former investment banker Carol Roth and Glenn Beck disagree. “The implications of this are horrifying for everybody who is in business‚” Roth tells Glenn‚ noting that the case itself makes no sense. “There is no actual damages‚ the bank has said that they were not victimized‚ that they made a ton of fees.” “This has an incredibly disturbing implication for any business‚” she adds. “If this is the standard‚ then basically‚ I would say every business in the United States‚ somebody needs to be thrown in jail and assessed hundreds of millions of dollars because this happens throughout all of business.” “How much of an impact will this have on businesses being and locating themselves in New York?” Glenn asks Roth.
