Saturday, just before 1:30 p.m. ET, Trump sent an email to his mailing list, which read, in full: "Looking forward to being at the World Series in Atlanta tonight. MLB disputes Trump's characterization of events.
In a USA Today story earlier this past week, Atlanta Braves CEO Terry McGuirk said, “He called MLB and wanted to come to the game. We were very surprised. Of course, we said yes.’’ MLB officials backed McGuirk's accounting of Trump's invitation."

"GREEN COUNTY, Wis. (WMTV) - For hours on Friday afternoon, family and friends of Melissa Trumpy searched in the area between Freeport, Illinois and Shannon, Illinois.
“We’re searching in ditches, cornfields, woods, under bridges, in creeks,” said Ben Affrunti, a former boyfriend of Trumpy. “She deserved better than that. She really did.”
Affrunti, who shares children with Trumpy, says the past few days have been overwhelmingly difficult.
“I think that’s probably the hardest part: not knowing,” said Affrunti.
The family says the last time anyone spoke to her was on Tuesday evening. They received a phone call when Melissa did not show up for work on Wednesday morning."

"WASHINGTON (AP) — White House press secretary Jen Psaki said Sunday she has contracted COVID-19.
She said she was last in contact with Biden on Tuesday, when she met him in the White House. Psaki said they were more than 6 feet apart and wearing masks.
Psaki was not traveling with President Joe Biden, who was in Rome this weekend for the Group of 20 summit and is headed to Glasgow, Scotland, on Monday for a U.N. climate summit.
Psaki, 42, had planned to travel with the president but scrapped the trip just as he was set to depart for Europe after learning that members of her household had tested positive for COVID-19."
