Säpo wants a change in the law that will allow them to collect information about people in social media. This despite the fact that the persons are not suspected of any crime. The government has given the go-ahead to implement such a change in the law.
The Swedish Security Police, Säpo, has sent a request to the Ministry of Justice for increased powers to process personal data.
Säpo wants the rules regarding which personal data the authority is allowed to collect to be relaxed so that they can collect such data online about Swedes who are not suspected of crime.

"Severe restriction"
The legislation that currently applies means that the information Säpo collects must have a clear connection to the agency's work against, among other things, terrorism and espionage. But Säpo believes this is a "serious limitation".
According to Säpo, an example of a limitation is that when they want to review a thread on an internet forum, they must make sure that there is no sensitive personal data in the material.
The authority writes that the amounts of data on the internet are so large that they cannot be handled manually, and that they therefore want to develop an AI service that can sort all the information.
The authority believes that an AI tool would go through the data instead of Säpo's own employees is proof that it "does not automatically mean an increased intrusion into personal integrity".

Morgan Johansson supports the demand
Justice Minister Morgan Johansson (S) has said during a press conference earlier this week that Säpo's demands are reasonable - and that it is important that the state gets better at "mapping extremists in social media".
- I have given my officials the task of starting such a review to respond to Säpo's home address. I think that's an important thing to increase the detection opportunities for these individuals, he said at the time.
At the same time, the government and the party Johansson represents have been criticized for applying a broad and arbitrary definition of what extremism is, where political opponents are often included.
Known to the police, well no surprise there

More than every second young person in Africa wants to emigrate

A survey of 4,500 young Africans in 15 countries shows that 52 percent now want to emigrate. The last time the survey was conducted, in early 2020, two-thirds wanted to remain in their home countries. The continent is severely plagued by extremely high birth rates.
A survey, "African Youth Servey" among 4,500 young Africans in 15 countries aged 18-24 showed that 52 percent want to emigrate. In Sudan and Nigeria, the figure is as high as three quarters. The percentage who want to emigrate has increased significantly since the last time the survey was conducted at the beginning of 2020. At that time, more than two-thirds of young Africans wanted to remain in their African homelands.
Around 60 percent of the population on the African continent is estimated to be younger than 25 years. The reason is mainly the very high birth rates.
Many countries are plagued by high birth rates
The World Bank estimated in 2020 that the average number of children per woman in sub-Saharan Africa was 4.6. In Nigeria, where three out of four young people want to emigrate, the number of children per woman was then 5.2. Among other countries that were included in the survey of young people's future plans, Congo-Kinshasa was found, with 5.7 children per woman and Angola with 5.4 children per woman. In Somalia, known to Sweden, which was not included in the survey, the number of children per woman in 2020 was 5.9.
For comparison, the World Bank estimated that women in the EU in 2020 had an average of 1.5 children. The African women thus chose to have a little over three times as many children.

A threat to societies in the West and a sustainable world
Population growth in Africa has been explosive, while in Europe it has basically stagnated, excluding immigration. In just a few decades, the African population has increased from a couple of odd million to well over a billion people, and the assessment is that a further doubling to two billion is expected before the year 2050.
It is feared that this will lead to an emigration pressure towards the West that is even greater and more unmanageable than today. It also overturns all climate and environmental policy plans for a sustainable extraction of the earth's resources. If wealth is to be distributed equally across the world, it means that the West would have to lower its standard of living to a fraction of today's, and that level drops further every year as the population of the third world increases
Non native , thats for sure
Train traveler threatened staff - with excrement
Domestic Sweden

On Sunday, an alarm was received by the Police in Västerås Sweden about a slightly odd crime. A man had threatened to throw faeces at train staff.
It was just before half past nine on that Sunday morning that a man behaved threateningly and aggressively on a train that arrived at the platform at Västerås Central Station. The police write that on their website.
The man threatened a train attendant to throw his faeces at him. This was because the train conductor had asked the man to move in the train carriage.
The police located the man and ensured that he was removed from the scene.
They can't and won't share these until they are finished writing them...once they see for sure what they stole.
"Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) is demanding that the documents supporting the application for a search warrant for President Donald Trump’s Florida home be released to the public. He is also calling on FBI Director Christopher Wray to provide answers about the raid on Mar-a-Lago that saw several boxes of documents removed by federal agents."

Good luck with that.
"Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., is calling for the repeal of the Espionage Act amid the Department of Justice’s probe of whether former President Donald Trump potentially violated it.
In a tweet Saturday, Paul trashed the act as one “abused from the beginning to jail dissenters of WWI.”
“It is long past time to repeal this egregious affront to the 1st Amendment,” he wrote."

"Led by Sen. Ed Markey, the delegation is slated to meet with Taiwanese President Tsai Ing-wen, Minister of Foreign Affairs Joseph Wu, and local lawmakers to “discuss bilateral relations, regional security, trade and investment, global supply chains, climate change, and other significant issues of mutual interest,” according to Bloomberg.
Other members of the delegation reportedly include Democrat Reps. John Garamendi, Alan Lowenthal, and Don Beyer, in addition to Republican Rep. Amata Radewagen"
