FOREIGN. Men from the Middle East and Africa are cynically exploiting the war in Ukraine to enter the EU along with the influx of fleeing Ukrainian women and children. Violent scenes take place at the train stations as the third world men try to squeeze in front of the refugees.


The Polish local news portal Tarnogorski.info has published a clip filmed by a Ukrainian refugee who has now moved to Poland.

The film shows how Ukrainian refugee women in Kyiv try to board a train bound for Poland. But around them are aggressive men from the Middle East and Africa who are trying to squeeze ahead of them.

Desperate screams of women are heard in the video and a very upset white man shouts in English to the third world immigrants that they should release women and children. However, he only gets swear words back.

- You fucking animals! the man finally exclaims, while the chaos continues.


Other, similar clips are spread online. One of them shows a knife-wielding dark-skinned man blocking the entrance to a train in Przemyśl and threatening people trying to enter the compartment.


Officials working at the border testify that men from Africa and the Middle East are tearing out beds and stealing blankets from Ukrainian women and children, writes the Polish newspaper Najwyzszy Czas.

Polish MP Robert Winnicki warns on Twitter of the development.

"Poles at the border are beginning to fear for their safety, non-Ukrainian immigrants are walking around with knives, " he writes.

Svenska Nyheter Today's founder Chang Frick, who is on the border between Poland and Ukraine, states that he has received information that buses are being sent from Belarus to Ukraine with people from the Middle East.

The European Commission is now announcing a proposal that all Ukrainian citizens should have the right to housing, health care, schooling and work in the EU.
"Everyone who escapes Putin's bombs is welcome in Europe," writes Ursula von der Leyen.
Ukraine's population is estimated at close to 44 million. The UN refugee agency UNHCR stated on Tuesday that close to 700,000 refugees have left Ukraine in the past six days. But according to the US UN ambassador, it is estimated that several million may be on their way to the EU.
It is in a press release on Wednesday morning that the European Commission proposes what is called temporary protection within the EU with the right to housing, health care, schooling and work for three years.
"Everyone who escapes Putin's bombs is welcome in Europe," European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen wrote on Twitter.
The proposal will now be forwarded to the European Council, where the Member States have already expressed strong support. The decision is expected to be made on Thursday.
