Vincent Mason Makes His Presence Known With Debut Album ‘There I Go’

Vincent Mason could be one of the next big names in country music. The young up-and-comer from Roswell, Georgia turned some heads with the release of streaming juggernaut “Hell is a Dance Floor,” which has amassed well over 100 million streams on Spotify alone. But now, nearly two years after that February 2024 single release, Mason has made his presence known with his full length debut album. Titled There I Go, the 12-track project finds Mason reflecting on the growing pains that come with territory of trying to forge a career in music this day in age. With tracks detailing the lifestyle change he is experiencing and its impact on relationships in the process, Mason’s debut record feels fairly introspective in nature, though one can only assume that not all of these love songs and done-me-wrong drinking tracks are based on personal experience at this stage in his life. Occupying an intriguing place within the greater landscape of country music, Mason’s music often features catchy choruses and clever wordplay, and his sound seems to toe the line of what is consistent with radio-ready mainstream country as well as some of the more commercial aspects of the Texas and Red Dirt scenes. Categorizing Mason’s music fully as one side of the spectrum or the other would be disingenuous, so his positioning square in the middle of the two means is his reach is far and wide. With his hand in the co-writing process on each of these tracks, Mason has proved a capable songwriter, and his collaboration with the likes of Randy Montana, Erik Dylan, and several of the other top behind-the-scenes talents in Nashville’s songwriting circles ought to serve as a vote of confidence for the young artist. And with a sound that is appealing to just about every type of country music fan out there, There I Go is bound to strike a chord with the masses, just as its aforementioned lead single “Hell is a Dance Floor” has done. So, without further ado, check out a few early favorites from There I Go here: “Little Miss” “She Loves Leaving” “Hell is a Dance Floor” “Days Are Numbered” If you like what you’ve heard from Vincent Mason’s debut album There I Go, then I suggest you get out there and hear some of these songs live. Mason has a TON of tour dates already scheduled through the remainder of the year and well into 2026, so there are no shortage of opportunities. Dolly Parton’s Morning Routine Begins Long Before The Sun Comes Up

Dolly Parton’s Morning Routine Begins Long Before The Sun Comes Up

It takes a lot of work to look that beautiful. Dolly Parton might have a reputation for giving back to her community through philanthropic efforts and for being a country music icon, but she’s also a fashion icon. The 79-year-old Tennessee native is known for her platinum hair and striking makeup, making for a very “overdone” look that I personally love, though, as the famous story goes, Dolly modeled it after the “town tramp” where she grew up in East Tennessee: “They called this lady ‘trash’ because she wore too much makeup, big hair, red nails, high heels, short skirts and all of that, but when I was little, that impressed me. And then the Fredericks, I used to look at that, and I would just see those lounge outfits, those beautiful robes, gowns… I just thought they weren’t even real people.” She coined the phrase “It costs a lot of money to look this cheap,” and Dolly says she always “wanted” to look cheap and “trashy.” Adding that she loves the “artificial” look, Dolly has really never wavered from that signature style and look, so it’s obviously very authentic to who she is: “I want to look cheap. That’s my look. I want to look a little bit, you know, trashy. I don’t mean it in a bad way. I just like that kind of almost artificial look. I like the overdone. I like the bleached hair. I do have some really beautiful clothes, but you would never know how much they cost, because the expensive ones look the same on me as the cheap ones for the most part.” View this post on Instagram However, Dolly’s look takes a long time to bring to life, and while she is a natural beauty, it still takes a bit of time to make it all come together. I know many of us ladies know that beauty takes time, and many women take an hour or longer to get ready for the day, leading to some early mornings. However, Dolly Parton’s routine begins long before the sun comes up… at 3 AM to be exact. But according to Parton, if she wants to do her whole morning routine, which includes time for herself, it can begin even earlier than that. She tells People: “Sometimes it’s earlier than that. That’s when I do all my spiritual work, my prayers and my dreaming, my thinking, when all the energies of the world have kind of died down.”  Parton says she’s always been an early riser, taking after her father, a tobacco farmer who often rose before the sun. After Parton finishes her spiritual work, it’s time to get ready for the day. Dolly Parton always puts on makeup and a nice outfit. “I like to put on a little makeup. I don’t always wear the wigs, but I like to pull my hair up a little bit. Because I never know who’s going to come by or if somebody has to come fix my refrigerator or whatever.” While Parton might forgo her wig daily, she does wear her signature heels. But wearing high heels has a purpose: “I’m short, I got to reach my cabinets!” An icon, truly. Dolly Parton embodies the motto I am sure many of us embodied during college: “dress well, test well.” Feeling your best every day not only allows you to impress anyone you might cross paths with, but also motivates you to get ready every morning and get everything you need done for the day. Dolly Parton’s commitment to getting dolled up each day, I am sure, also contributes to her spirit being much younger than her age. Although the “Backwoods Barbie” singer is getting ready to turn 80 in 2026, she feels as though she is just getting started. Of course, Dolly Parton’s health has been a concern for fans after she canceled her Las Vegas residency due to some health issues. Dolly Parton Is Reportedly “Getting Better Every Day” After Recent Health Issues On September 28, Dolly’s team shared a post she wrote to fans, announcing that she would have to postpone her residency dates due to “health challenges.” She didn’t get specific, obviously, but the 79-year-old Dolly explained that whatever she is going through will require surgery, and she will need time to recover; therefore, she will not be ready to perform in complete show form by December. In typical Dolly fashion, she joked that it wasn’t an appointment for her “usual trip to see my plastic surgeon,” and she feels as though God is trying to tell her to slow down for this season and rest up. While Parton assured fans that she was not quitting and that she plans to give them the show she feels they deserve as soon as she’s back to 100%, they began to worry greatly when her little sister, Freida, posted on social media asking for prayers. Fans began to worry that something more serious was going on if Freida felt called to share a post asking for prayers. Freida shortly addressed the viral post, noting that it was not meant to raise concern and that she believes in the power of prayer. Dolly then decided to clear up rumors and speculation surrounding her health, telling fans, “Ain’t dead yet!” I ain’t dead yet! pic.twitter.com/Mp553laadI — Dolly Parton (@DollyParton) October 8, 2025 While Dolly has been working, just releasing her new book ‘Star of the Show: My Life on Stage,’ she’s taken a step back from public appearances, taking some time for herself. In a recent update on her health, a source shared with People that she is at home healing and taking the time she needs to get healthy again. “Dolly is getting better every day. She is at home taking care of herself while many friends and family visit her. In true Dolly spirit, she has already started decorating for the holidays — her favorite time of year.” Nothing a little holiday cheer can’t cure, right? It sounds like Dolly is still getting dolled up daily, but hopefully she’s pushed back her 3 AM start time as she recovers and gets healthier. The post Dolly Parton’s Morning Routine Begins Long Before The Sun Comes Up first appeared on Whiskey Riff.
