“Do it single are three words I have been reflecting on lately. So often in life we think we must wait. Wait to follow our dreams. Wait until things in our life are less busy or less messy. Maybe we are waiting for a bigger house‚ a little more money in our bank account‚ a little more time or experience‚ or‚ in my case‚ waiting for our future spouse. Some of you may have read my story a couple years back about me becoming a single foster mom to twin boys. In 2019 when I got my foster care license‚ I knew I could no longer wait for anything or anyone to do what I felt so strongly called to do. To ‘do it single’ and jump into the foster care world as a single 26-year-old. I had no idea what would be in store for me these last five years‚ but man I’m so thankful I did not wait. In 2019‚ I would never in my wildest dreams or prayers know this is what my life would look like today. And spoiler alert‚ I’m now married to my husband and have a daughter in addition to fostering and fighting for our now foster son(s). Courtesy of Lauren Gavin When I was first going through my foster care classes‚ to no shock of my own‚ I had plenty of people ask me‚ ‘Are you sure you want to do this?’ Loved ones were concerned I was giving up my freedom‚ or concerned I wasn’t going to be able to meet someone if I was fostering. They knew my heart for wanting to be married eventually and a lot of them prayed I would meet the right person one day. But during the waiting for my person‚ I felt like I wasn’t fulfilling all that I was called to do in my singleness because of this idea that I’m ‘supposed to wait.’ After all‚ it’s the ‘normal’ thing to do‚ right? But one thing I have learned in my 30 years of life is that anyone I have admired or looked up to has always been the furthest thing from ‘normal.’ Since sharing my story a couple years back as a single foster mom‚ I have had so many wonderful single women reach out and say the following: How’d you do it? I would love to do it‚ but my family doesn’t support it. I’m scared I can’t do it on my own. These same single women reaching out to me with these concerns and thoughts were just like me. I’m so thankful for the women who stepped in the gap before me and decided to ‘do it single’ in the foster care world. Because of them and their encouragement‚ I felt that last push of confidence to say ‘YES’ to my dreams. SO‚ I DID IT SINGLE. I have experienced more heartbreak than I knew possible‚ a lot of unknowns‚ and a lot of questions of ‘why.’ I have seen and experienced trauma. I have seen addiction‚ I have seen abuse‚ and I have been on the bathroom floor crying so hard I felt like I was never going to be able to get up. Truth is‚ if I had a crystal ball and saw all the pain I would experience‚ I probably wouldn’t have said yes. But I’m so thankful I did not! Because I would have missed all of this… I would have missed the joy of experiencing for the first time what it felt like to love unconditionally as a mother. I would have missed raising my twin boys for almost 2 years and giving them a safe space to call home. I would have missed their sweet giggles and cuddles. I would have missed having the opportunity to love these kids’ biological parents. I would have missed taking their biological dad to church and hearing all that he went through as a kid and praying over him for healing. I would have missed my eyes being open to how much brokenness is right in my city. And how we are called to love those struggling. I would have missed being humbled to find I am no better than others. That trauma and loss and pain does not make me safe from handling my emotions and pain poorly‚ or that I have been given the same grace these families have. I would have missed amazing friendships full of grace‚ forgiveness‚ and hard conversations in this foster care world. I would have missed seeing my loved one’s hearts being changed and how they also have fallen in love with these children and continue to support and love and be there for me and our family during the hard times. I would have missed seeing the twins I once fostered be adopted by my friends who had their older brother and adopted them all together after 3 years of fighting for them and their safety. I would have missed meeting my 10-year-old daughter through my marriage who was craving a mom figure in her life after losing her biological mom at 4 years old. I would have missed my husband’s heart opening up to foster care through and seeing him now fight alongside me for these precious children’s lives. We would have missed our now foster son’s J &; D who are biological brothers. They were in separate homes before they came and lived with us almost 8 months ago. And now they get to sleep in the same bedroom together. Today they play Legos together‚ enjoy sleepovers in the loft‚ and our 2 youngest say they want to be just like their ‘big sister.’ We would have missed all that God is doing in our family of 5 now. It is not easy and quite frankly there are days we wish it was easy. There’s many days we still fail‚ but as we lay our heads down at night‚ we thank God for the hard and know we would not change a thing. Whatever passion or calling you feel like you must wait for because you are single‚ know the universe does some remarkable things when we say yes in the waiting. U.S. prosecutors charged a former ambassador to Bolivia for secretly working for the Cuban government and supporting its clandestine intelligence-gathering mission against the United States for more than four decades‚ according to unsealed court documents released on Monday. Victor Manuel Rocha‚ who served in various roles within the State Department‚ was arrested on Friday in Miami‚ Florida‚ on a criminal complaint. According to the Justice Department‚ federal prosecutors charged Rocha with committing multiple federal crimes‚ including acting as an illegal agent of a foreign government and using a passport obtained by false statement. “This action exposes one of the highest-reaching and longest-lasting infiltrations of the United States government by a foreign agent‚” Attorney General Merrick B. Garland said in a news release. Rocha‚ 73‚ a naturalized U.S. citizen originally from Colombia‚ allegedly spent 40 years secretly working as an agent on behalf of Havana while seeking out and obtaining positions within the U.S. government to gain access to classified information with the ability to affect its foreign policy. The indictment does not specify details about the information Rocha allegedly shared with conspirators inside Cuba’s intelligence community. Between 1981 and 2002‚ Rocha rose through the ranks of the State Department under both Democratic and Republican administrations. He worked in U.S. Embassies in Argentina‚ Bolivia‚ and Mexico City and served a short stint on the White House’s National Security Council as the director of inter-American affairs focused on Cuba from 1994 to 1995. Rocha later became an advisor to the Commander of the U.S. military’s Southern Command — a joint command of the U.S. military whose area of responsibility includes Cuba —from around 2006 to around 2012‚ according to the Justice Department. During a series of meetings beginning last year‚ Rocha admitted to his decades of work as a Cuban intelligence agent to an undercover FBI agent who posed as a covert Cuban General Directorate of Intelligence representative. Rocha allegedly told the undercover agent his efforts to “infiltrate” the U.S. government were “meticulous‚” “very disciplined‚” and had “strengthened the revolution immensely.” The accused spy told the undercover agent at their first meeting outside a Miami church that his “number one priority was …any action on the part of Washington that would – would endanger the life of — of the leadership…revolution itself.” Prosecutors allege throughout the meetings‚ Rocha behaved as a Cuban agent and consistently referred to the U.S. as “the enemy‚” praised Fidel Castro as the “Comandante‚” referred to his contacts in Cuban intelligence as his “Compañeros” and the Cuban intelligence services as the “Dirección.” CLICK HERE TO GET THE DAILYWIRE+ APP “I have to protect what we did because what we did…the cement that has strengthened the last 40 years‚” Rocha allegedly told the undercover agent during their second meeting‚ “What we have done…it’s enormous…More than a grand slam.” It was not immediately clear if Rocha’s legal representation issued a comment. His wife‚ Karla Wittkop Rocha‚ declined to comment when contacted by The Associated Press. “I don’t need to talk to you‚” she reportedly told the outlet before hanging up. Rocha was expected to make an initial appearance before a U.S. Magistrate Judge in Miami on December 4. The arrest comes nearly a year after U.S. authorities released a high-ranking federal official from prison after serving more than two decades for leaking information and identities of some American spies to Cuba. Ana Belen Montes‚ 65‚ a former Defense Intelligence Agency analyst‚ pled guilty in 2002 to conspiracy to commit espionage and using her status to leak classified information and four U.S. spy identities to Havana.

A U.S. official said this week that one of the reasons that Hamas terrorists ended negotiations for releasing more hostages is that the terrorist organization does not want to release female hostages because those hostages are then going to reveal what Hamas did to them. The remarks — from State Department Spokesman Matthew Miller — come after there have been multiple horrifying accounts of the extreme sexual violence that the Islamic terrorists committed against Israeli women during the October 7 massacre. “The fact that they continue to hold women hostages‚ the fact that they continue to hold children hostages‚ just the fact that it seems one of the reasons they don’t want to turn women over they’ve been holding hostage‚ and the reason this pause fell apart‚ is they don’t want those women to be able to talk about what happened to them during their time in custody‚” Miller said. “There is very little that I would put beyond Hamas when it comes to its treatment of civilians‚ and particularly its treatment of women‚” he added. A Sky News host berated an IDF spokesman this weekend‚ suggesting the digital map of Gaza the IDF published so residents could clear out of targeted areas was not helpful because the Gazans allegedly did not have “power to power up their cell phones.” When the IDF spokesman cited evidence to refute the claim‚ the reporter abruptly shut down the interview. Parents of a young Kansas City Chiefs fan — who was accused of “blackface” by Deadspin — are threatening to sue the magazine and reporter after the writer blasted the little fan who painted his face half red and half black for the team’s last game against the Las Vegas Raiders. Holden Armenta’s parents‚ Shannon and Raul ‘Bubba‚’ have hired Clare Locke LLP to demand a retraction to its story with a headline that read‚ “The NFL needs to speak out against the Kansas City Chiefs fan in Black face‚ Native headdress‚” NewsNation reported. In a letter obtained by the outlet‚ the Armentas wrote that‚ “These articles‚ posts on X and photos about Holden and his parents must be retracted immediately.” “It is not enough to quietly remove a tweet from X or disable the article from Deadspin’s website‚” the letter added. “You must publish your retractions and issue an apology to my clients with the same prominence and fanfare with which you defamed them.” The outlet also noted that the Chiefs fan’s family have threatened further action against the author Carron J. Nick Cannon has dropped some serious cash sending all 12 of his children to Disneyland over the years. The 43-year-old television host discussed how often he spends cash at Disney during a Friday appearance on “The Breakfast Club” radio show. “Do you know how much money I spend at Disneyland a year?” Cannon asked the show hosts‚ per Fox News. The “Wild ‘n Out” host shares his 12 kids with six different women and often jokes about having so many children while insisting he spends enough quality time with each one.  He shares twins Moroccan and Monroe with ex-wife Mariah Carey; sons Golden Sagon and Rise Messiah Cannon and daughter Powerful Queen with Brittany Bell; twins Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir and daughter Beautiful Zeppelin with Abby De La Rosa; son Legendary Love with Bre Tiesi; and daughter Onyx Ice Cole with LaNisha Cole. Cannon also had two children with Alyssa Scott‚ including daughter Halo Marie‚ who was born in December 2022. His first child with Alyssa‚  son‚ Zen‚ died at five months old in December 2021 after being diagnosed with brain cancer. The activist celebrity also discussed how it was especially challenging because his trips to Disneyland used to be free when he was employed there. About a decade ago‚ a successful Hollywood producer named Aaron Russo sat for an interview that no one talks about anymore. Russo was Bette Midler’s manager‚ and he worked on the film “Trading Places.” In this interview‚ Russo goes into some detail about a conversation he had with one of the members of the Rockefeller Family. Specifically‚ Russo claims that the Rockefeller Foundation and the U.S. government spent a lot of money funding the feminist movement‚ for reasons that aren’t remotely related to “equal rights” or “empowering women.” Watch: Watching that footage‚ there are a lot of reasons to be skeptical. Even though pretty much every conspiracy theory from the past decade has been proven correct‚ it’s still hard to say whether Russo is a credible source of information. But if Aaron Russo is a fraud‚ he has one thing that most frauds don’t have‚ which is corroboration. This corroboration comes in the form of a document that was drafted not by some online troll‚ or  a dastardly MAGA Republican‚ or anything like that. Instead‚ this document was written by a vice president at one of the most powerful Left-wing activist groups in the country: Planned Parenthood. Every year‚ for decades‚ Planned Parenthood has received hundreds of millions of dollars of taxpayer funding.  In terms of political impact‚ they are maybe the single most influential nonprofit in the United States. I use the term “nonprofit” very loosely‚ just like Planned Parenthood does. About five decades ago‚ in 1969‚ Planned Parenthood produced a step-by-step roadmap for depopulating the United States. This document is called the “Jaffe memo‚” after the man who drafted it: Frederick Jaffe‚ who is also the founder of the pro-abortion Guttmacher Institute. He wrote the document in response to a letter from Bernard Berelson‚ who was the head of the Population Council. Berelson wanted a summary of expert opinions on how to make sure we have fewer people in this country. Jaffe’s memo makes clear that the feminist movement is a core component of a much broader depopulation agenda. And that agenda has been achieved‚ for the most part. Point by point‚ it has become reality‚ just like they drew it up. If you want evidence that pretty much every problem facing Americans today wasn’t just predictable‚ but planned‚ then this memo is a very interesting read‚ to say the least. And if you want to know where the depopulation agenda is heading in the future‚ then it’s vitally important that you understand every word of the document. WATCH: The Matt Walsh Show That’s why I’m going to go through it. This is a memo that I’ve alluded to at various points over the years. We’ve never spent much time analyzing it in detail‚ but today we will. That’s because it may be the single most important document that most people have never heard of.  The Jaffe memo begins with this statement: “Continued U.S. population growth will inevitably cause a deterioration in the quality of life of this and future generations.” The document adds that many experts believe that‚ “explicit U.S. policy to encourage or compel smaller family size in the U.S. is necessary.”  What policy proposals might achieve this goal of depopulating the planet?  A compilation of ideas for reducing the U.S. fertility rate shared in the “Jaffe Memo” and reproduced in the article‚ “U.S. Population Growth and Family Planning: A Review of the Literature” in the journal of ‘Family Planning Perspectives‚’ Oct 1970. pic.twitter.com/SNbEVewbOr — Imperator Philippus Arabus (@PhilippusArabus) April 28‚ 2023 Here’s the first column of a chart included at the end of the Jaffe memo: “Restructure family: Postpone or avoid marriage. Alter image of ideal family size. Compulsory education of children. Encourage increased homosexuality. Educate for family limitation. Fertility control agents in the water supply. Encourage women to work.” Let’s go through those one-by-one: “Restructure family: Postpone or avoid marriage.” They accomplished that one‚ obviously. In the 1960’s‚ the median age of first marriage for men was 23. For women‚ it was 20. Now‚ the median age for men at their first wedding is over 30. For women‚ it’s 29. This has been a slow and steady climb‚ and it’s still increasing. For women‚ fertility starts to decline rapidly at the age of 30. And that is right at the moment that many women are now getting married. Of course there have always been women who marry later in life‚ and there’s nothing wrong with that on an individual level. But as a general‚ societal strategy‚ it’s a recipe for decline‚ and eventually disaster. And this is a recipe that was‚ as it turns out‚ quite intentionally concocted.  Now let’s take the next part of the memo: “Alter image of ideal family size.” That happened very quickly. The Jaffe memo was written in 1969. Just a couple of years later‚ Pew reports‚ people suddenly wanted much smaller families:  “In 1971‚ there was a shift in attitudes‚ as Americans’ ideal family switched from four kids to two kids).” So just as contraception is being legalized‚ suddenly everyone wants fewer kids. Another goal of the anti-human forces was achieved. The Jaffe memo continues by calling on policymakers to “Encourage increased homosexuality.” In black and white‚ Planned Parenthood is saying two things at once. First‚ that homosexuality can be “encouraged.” It’s not a naturally occurring phenomenon — at least not in their opinion. And then Planned Parenthood is admitting that the goal of “encouraging increased homosexuality” isn’t about equal rights. It’s about curbing the human population.  WATCH: “Lady Ballers” on DailyWire+ In various corners of Left-wing media‚ you’ll find tacit admissions that this is the reason they’re so adamant about promoting homosexuality. The Huffington Post‚ for example‚ published an article in 2017 entitled‚ “Homosexuality as Population Control? Why Gays &; Lesbians Are Essential to the Balance of Nature.” The article stated that‚ “Even without a causal link established between homosexuality and population management‚ the obvious reduction in population growth attributable to homosexuality by itself indubitably works to preserve the species.” If you’ve ever wondered why it’s always the case that the climate nutjobs are in complete agreement with the LGBTQ club — if you’ve been curious what exactly environmental Marxism has in common with gay marriage — there’s your answer. The Left views the climate agenda and the gay agenda as two components of a larger plan‚ which is about one thing: depopulating the planet. The first column of this memo ends with these two action items: “Fertility control agents in the water supply. Frederick von Saal‚ a biology professor at the University of Missouri‚ told the National Catholic Register that the fake estrogen‚ “can cause effects in human tissues at concentrations in blood below one part per trillion‚ so this is an extremely potent drug.” Is that why sperm counts in men are plummeting? Is that why birth rates are dropping? No one’s been able to offer an explanation for what’s happening to sperm counts‚ but it’s clearly a major problem. MAID does not require a terminal diagnosis. In fact‚ Canada’s government is killing some people simply because they’re disabled‚ or mentally ill‚ or can’t find housing. They’re even planning to open MAID up to so-called “Mature Minors” nationwide. Disabled people in Canada are openly talking about how eager the government is to kill them. Watch: What’s Canada’s government doing about this? Are they trying to reverse course‚ and find a way to help these people live? Just the opposite‚ actually. Just this week‚ Statistics Canada‚ which is the agency in Canada’s government that catalogues how people are dying in Canada‚ announced on social media that it’s effectively going to start hiding the statistics on MAID. Here’s what they wrote about their record keeping practices going forward: “The underlying cause of death is defined as the disease or injury that initiated the train of morbid events leading directly to death. As such‚ MAID deaths are coded to the underlying condition for which MAID was requested.” In response to that post‚ one Canadian asked for some clarification. He wrote‚ “How do you classify people with a disability that do not have a foreseeable death or people that chose MAID because of mental health issues?” Here’s how the agency responded: “Deaths are coded using the World Health Organization’s International Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems (ICD). In November‚ at a meeting of the American Medical Association‚ a resolution was proposed to remove this line from the association’s guidelines: “Physicians must not perform euthanasia or perform assisted suicide.” Instead of that line‚ members of the AMA proposed this revision: “RESOLVED‚ that our American Medical Association adopt a neutral stance on medical aid in dying and respect the autonomy and right of self-determination of patients and physicians in this matter.” At this rate‚ it’s only a matter of time before we adopt Canada’s MAID program wholesale in this country. It’s only a matter of time until we have a marriage tax‚ just like the ones Frederick Jaffe was writing about. With every passing year‚ we get closer and closer to realizing every single wish-list item on the Jaffe memo. We have seen this agenda unfold‚ in front of our eyes‚ for decades. It is not natural. It is not inevitable. It was preplanned‚ and even now‚ it’s still in progress. When you realize that‚ it puts the fake debates over “climate change” and “gender affirming care” in context. Whatever branding they come up with‚ the end goal is‚ and has always been the same: depopulation. That just happens to be where all of this activism leads. You can choose to believe that’s a coincidence. You can come up with some alternative theory for why every single Left-wing cause happens to match perfectly with the Jaffe memo. But whatever the case‚ there’s one thing you can’t deny — which is that all the way back in 1969‚ Planned Parenthood planned all of it.
