Def Leppard (pictured) and Journey have announced a 23-city co-headlining stadium tour that will begin next July. Steve Miller Band‚ Heart and Cheap Trick will trade off as the supporting act.   Cheap Trick will play the tour’s first two and last two shows. Steve Miller Band then takes over playing a majority of the dates with Heart performing at the Cleveland‚ Toronto and Boston stops. The Steve Miller Band returns until Cheap Trick finishes the tour with shows in Seattle and Denver. Registration for presale tickets is underway. A presale for Citi cardholders kicks off at 10 a.m. local time on December 13th. The general public sale begins at 10 a.m. local time on December 15th. Aerosmith’s “Dream On” has surpassed a billion streams on Spotify.  Aerosmith joins other Rock artists‚ including Metallica‘s “Nothing Else Matters‚” Survivor‘s “Eye Of The Tiger“ and Papa Roach’s “Last Resort“ in Spotify’s Billions Club.  Reportedly there are nearly 500 tracks in the club. Billions Club is a playlist first launched in ’20 which includes all of the songs on Spotify that have surpassed one billion streams on the platform. Caracas is reportedly moving to claim the Essequibo territory of neighboring Guyana Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro has sent troops to the border with Guyana in preparation for claiming 160‚000 square kilometers of territory known as Essequibo‚ according to the Spanish daily El Pais. An unknown number of Venezuelan troops has been dispatched to Puerto Barima‚ in the state of Delta Amacuro‚ the Spanish outlet said. Meanwhile‚ Maduro has unveiled a new map of Venezuela incorporating the territory‚ dubbed ‘Guyana Essequiba‚’ after 10.4 million Venezuelan voters approved such a move in a referendum on Sunday.  “We want the peaceful rescue of the Guayana Esequiba‚” Maduro said on Tuesday. “Our Guayana Esequiba has been de facto occupied by the British Empire and its heirs and they have destroyed the area.” Maduro also appointed Major-General Alexis Rodriguez Cabello as the region’s new governor. His seat at the moment is in Tumeremo‚ a mining town in the state of Bolivar.
