Apple Music Monthly Replay makes me love the service even more

After making Apple Music Replay 2024 available‚ Apple decided to take another approach by introducing a monthly replay. The news was broken by Engadget‚ which notes Apple is now offering a "more granular look at your listening history" while still offering a full replay at the end of the year. Here's how to check Apple Music Monthly Replay Image source: José Adorno for BGR Like Apple Music Replay‚ the monthly experience is available with the same steps: Open https://music.apple.com/replay website on your browser Sign in with your Apple ID Tap "Jump In" After that‚ you can select the different months to see your listening experience during that period You can only check months that are over. So‚ currently‚ you can only check January. Apple also highlights similar marks as the annual replay‚ such as: Top Artists Top Songs Top Albums Month's milestones A simple tweak means the world to Apple Music users Image source: José Adorno for BGR Although Apple is putting some effort into collaborative and shareable features‚ Apple Music still lags behind Spotify on these matters. Fortunately‚ the streaming service seems to be listening to its user base and implementing more social features. Recently‚ we got several SharePlay experiences‚ collaborative playlists‚ and this Apple Music Replay revamp. With iOS 18 just around the corner‚ I'm sure there's even more coming to the streaming service this year. I love discovering the songs I listen to the most and how I'm devoted to some artists and songs‚ and now it's even easier with Apple Music. Over the following months‚ it will be even nicer to see my listening history throughout the year. In addition‚ users can still take advantage of their Replay 2024 playlist‚ which is updated weekly. Apple Music subscribers can access this experience through their iPhones‚ Macs‚ iPads‚ and favorite browsers. Below‚ you can learn more about this shareable Apple Music experience. This unreleased Apple Music feature might help you ditch Spotify for good

Apple Music is full of good features following the iOS 17 update‚ but soon‚ the music service might help you transfer your Spotify library at no cost and with ease. According to the findings of a Reddit user‚ the beta version of Apple Music on Android has now a "Transfer Music from Other Services" feature. Apparently‚ Apple is testing this major change in partnership with SongShift‚ one of the best music library transfer apps. In addition‚ MacRumors found references to this change in the APK of the app‚ although it doesn't seem to be available to all beta testers at this moment. If the testing goes well‚ this would be a major advantage for Apple Music. Spotify‚ Deezer‚ Tidal‚ and YouTube Music users could easily transfer all their songs‚ albums‚ and playlists to Apple Music for free with minimal effort. Currently‚ years' worth of curated playlists and albums often keep users from ditching a streaming service‚ in addition to the algorithm tailored to their taste. Also‚ third-party music transfer services aren't flawless. While most of them limit the number of songs you can transfer in a free version‚ they're also known to make mistakes. https://www.reddit.com/r/AppleMusic/comments/1at8g93/apple_music_470beta_1359_for_android_apple/ One of the services I enjoy the most‚ FreeYourMusic‚ has issues when transferring Beatles songs from Apple Music to Spotify. Also‚ for whatever reason‚ it always converts these songs to band covers‚ which I find very odd. While there are more questions than answers about the ability to transfer Spotify songs to Apple Music‚ it's interesting that Apple is finally testing this feature – especially in collaboration with SongShift. This could mean that Cupertino plans to acquire this service like it did with Shazam by ultimately integrating it with iOS. Image source: José Adorno for BGR In addition‚ we still have to wait to discover when Apple is adding this beta feature to iOS‚ as Apple Music updates rely on newer iOS versions. The company is currently testing iOS 17.4‚ but this function doesn't seem to be there just yet. Once this feature is available‚ BGR will make sure to let you know how to transfer your songs to Apple Music. BREAKING: Biden to dedicate his next beach vacation to the victims of the East Palestine train disaster

WASSHINGTON‚ DC—In a move that has raised eyebrows and elicited more than a few chuckles‚ President* Joe Biden announced today that he will be dedicating his next beach vacation to the victims of the East Palestine train disaster – a tragic event that occurred over a year ago. A train derailment occurred on February 3‚ 2023‚ at 8:55 p.m. EST‚ when 38 cars of a Norfolk Southern freight train carrying hazardous materials derailed in East Palestine‚ Ohio‚ United States. Several railcars burned for more than two days‚ with emergency crews then conducting a controlled burn of several railcars‚ which released hydrogen chloride and phosgene into the air. “While some may see this as an unusual choice for a vacation dedication‚ I believe it’s important to remember and honor the victims of this tragic event‚” Biden said in a statement. “Plus‚ who doesn’t love a good beach vacation?” The president*’s decision to commemorate the East Palestine train disaster during his upcoming beach getaway has sparked mixed reactions from the public. “It’s certainly a unique way to pay tribute to the past‚” remarked one observer. “I’m sure the victims of the train disaster would appreciate the sentiment – assuming they’re still around to appreciate it.” Others‚ however‚ were less enthusiastic about the president*’s vacation plans. “Doesn’t he have more pressing matters to attend to?” questioned one critic. “I mean‚ I’m all for honoring the past‚ but maybe he could start by addressing the current crises facing our country?” Nevertheless‚ President* Biden remains undeterred in his decision to dedicate his beach vacation to the victims of the East Palestine train disaster. “History is important‚ folks‚” he declared during a press conference. “And what better way to honor it than by soaking up some sun and sipping on a cold drink by the ocean? It’s what the victims would have wanted‚ I’m sure.” As the president* prepares to hit the beach‚ one thing is certain – his dedication to the victims of the past knows no bounds‚ even if it means taking a break from the responsibilities of the present.
