Ukraine lost half of the Leopards it received from Finland - The expert was worried
Based on the pictures shared on Telegram, three Finnish Leopards seem to have been at least partially destroyed in Ukraine.

Ukraine is believed to have lost three Leopard tanks sent from Finland. Footage of the destroyed wagons has been shared on Russian Telegram channels.

War expert Emil Kastehelmi says that the losses occurred when Ukraine was moving towards the village of Robotyne on the Zaporizhia front. According to Kastehelmi, Ukraine has been trying to attack the region for several days now, but "the results have been meager".

- Overall, I find it worrying how a lot of high-quality western equipment is currently being lost in the area in question.

Ukraine has received Leopards from several different countries, but the wagons in question can be identified as Finnish by the mine plow installed on them. In addition, the cannon turret has been removed from the wagons. Finland has sent all of its Leopard 2R clearing wagons to Ukraine, of which there were a total of six.

- It is problematic if smaller numbers of special tanks, such as in this case Leopard 2R clearing tanks, are lost in large numbers. They would really be needed, because Ukraine has decided to attack with the most heavily fortified direction of all, Kastehelmi states.

According to Kastehelmi, there is still 15-20 kilometers to go to the more heavily fortified defense line of the Russians.

Villages liberated
Ukraine's counteroffensive, which began at the beginning of June, is currently progressing in the Donetsk region. In the last few days, three villages have been liberated on the southern front after about a week of fighting. Based on the footage, it has been confirmed that Neskutšne, Blahodatne and Storoževe are in the possession of the Ukrainian armed forces.

A fourth village, Makarivka, has also reportedly been liberated, but the information could not be independently confirmed. Ukraine continues its offensive along the river towards the south and Staromajorsk.

Based on footage from the field, three wagons have been lost, but it is still unclear whether they can be evacuated or repaired.

Pekka Toveri, the former intelligence chief of the Defense Forces and member of parliament of the coalition, has also commented on the extent of the destruction experienced by Finnish tanks. A friend writes on the community service Twitter that the tanks still look relatively intact in the pictures and seem to be repairable.
