The Muslims' message in Stockholm: "The solution is jihad"

Earlier this week, Muslims gathered in central Stockholm to show their support for Hamas' terrorist attacks in Israel. At the scene, several participants held up signs with text such as "the solution is jihad".

It was on Tuesday that the Islamist group Hizb ut-Tahrir carried out the demonstration at Medborgarplatsen in Stockholm.

- Allahu akbar, chanted the crowd at Södermalm.

At the scene, some were seen holding up signs with texts such as, "The whole of Palestine must be liberated by an Islamic army!" and "The solution is jihad".

Hizb ut-Tahrir
The organization behind the demonstration aims to abolish democracy and instead introduce an Islamist and Sharia-governed society.

In Russia, the organization is banned and classified as a terrorist organization. Germany has declared the organization illegal due to anti-Semitism and anti-Israel propaganda. China, Turkey, Egypt and several other Arab countries have also banned the organization.

Hizb ut-Tahrir has also figured in several investigations into terrorist attacks in Scandinavia. Truck terrorist Rakhmat Akilov both liked and shared the organization on Facebook.
