FOREIGN. Ukraine's military is investigating whether security rules for "mass events involving military personnel" were breached after a large number of soldiers died when Russia attacked a Ukrainian military celebration this week.

On Saturday evening, the Ukrainian military's strategic communications department announced that a Russian Iskander robot had hit personnel belonging to a brigade in the Zaporizhzhya region.
