Google ‘interfered’ 41 times in US elections to help ‘left-wing’ candidates: Watchdog group

Over the last 16 years‚ Google has interfered in American elections 41 times‚ according to a March report from watchdog group Media Research Center.MRC Free Speech America researchers recently released a new report titled “41 Times Google Has Interfered in U.S. Elections Since 2008‚” which revealed instances when the technology giant allegedly boosted left-leaning candidates and censored opponents. MRC founder and President Brent Bozell stated‚ “Google’s massive and deliberate efforts to interfere in U.S. elections for the past 16 years is unacceptable and the biggest threat to American democracy today.”The watchdog group noted that Google’s “impact has surged dramatically‚” claiming the company’s interference has continued to ramp up over the years.“In every case‚ Google harmed the candidates — regardless of party — who threatened its left-wing candidate of choice‚” the report’s executive summary read. “From the mouths of Google executives‚ the tech giant let slip what was never meant to be made public: That Google uses its ‘great strength and resources and reach’ to advance its leftist values.”MRC alleged that Google helped then-Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) secure a win over then-Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-N.Y.) in the 2008 primary race by censoring blog writers who supported Clinton. The tech giant propelled Obama to victory again in 2012 against then-presidential candidate Mitt Romney (R). “In 2016‚ Google pushed Clinton‚ using its algorithm to exclude potentially damaging autofill results while not doing the same for then-candidates Donald Trump or Bernie Sanders‚” the report found. The watchdog group also stated that Google censored former U.S. Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-Hawaii) by disabling her Ads account. Google denied the claim‚ saying that its automated system detected unusual spending activity and that the issue was resolved within six hours‚ the New York Post reported.MRC accused the tech company of suppressing media stories critical of President Joe Biden and blocking Republican fundraising emails. Google’s artificial intelligence program‚ Gemini‚ reportedly refused to answer Biden’s “biggest weaknesses.”“In 2022‚ Google buried most Republican campaign websites for the 12 competitive Senate races (10 of 12 did not make the top 6 search results and 7 did not even make the first page of search results). Also‚ 61 percent of the stories included on the Google News homepage linked to leftist news media outlets‚” the report added. So far this year‚ MRC discovered that Google has buried the search results for Biden’s top opponents‚ including Trump and independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. According to the watchdog organization‚ the tech giant is “making good on its 2016 promise never to let conservatives win again.”MRC is encouraging House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) to open an investigation into Google based on the report’s findings. The organization claims the company violated the American public’s constitutional rights. The organization also called on citizens to stop using Google products and opt for other alternatives.Google denies the claims made in MRC’s report.“There is absolutely nothing new here — just a recycled list of baseless‚ inaccurate complaints that have been debunked by third parties and many that failed in the courts‚” a company spokesperson told the Post.“Politicians on the left have a long history of making similar claims‚ too‚” the spokesperson continued. “We have a clear business incentive to keep everyone using our products‚ so we have no desire to make them biased or inaccurate and have safeguards in place to ensure this.”“Numerous conservatives have been particularly successful in using our platforms to spread their message to a wide audience‚” the Google representative added.Like Blaze News? Two elderly sisters were attacked and sexually assaulted in Dearborn home invasion: Report

An individual who has been accused of home invasion and sexually assaulting two elderly women in Dearborn‚ Michigan‚ has been arrested and taken into custody‚ according to WJBK. The suspect is a 52-year-old male who was reportedly tracked down by the authorities at a motel in Melvindale. He was arrested after police collected evidence and spoke to witnesses about the horrific situation. The two victims were taken to the hospital to be treated for injuries. The incident took place in the Southfield area on Sunday afternoon‚ according to WXYZ. Officers arrived on the scene after receiving a call about the situation. The two victims are reportedly sisters — one is in her 80s and the other is in her 70s.Neighbors in the area said one of the elderly women ran out of the home without clothing‚ which likely saved both of their lives."Upon arrival‚ officers discovered two elderly female residents who had been severely abused and sexually assaulted by an unknown adult male who illegally entered their home‚" the police said in a statement. "Dearborn Fire and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) personnel rendered medical aid to the victims immediately at the scene and prepared them for transport to an area hospital."The suspect's identity has not yet been made available‚ pending official charges from the Wayne County Prosecutor's Office. The investigation is still ongoing‚ but the authorities believe the man acted alone and targeted the women at random."The crime committed in our community over the weekend is shocking and horrifying‚" Dearborn Police Chief Issa Shahin said. "I applaud and thank the community members who assisted our officers in swiftly bringing the perpetrator to justice and protected our residents from any further threat."As our investigation continues‚ our thoughts remain with the victims of this incident‚ their families‚ and their neighbors as they heal and recover from this trauma."Reports said the police in Dearborn are deploying additional patrols in the area to provide peace of mind to those in the community. It does not appear that the two elderly women knew the suspect in the case‚ and it is uncertain what the specific charges are that the man is facing. The authorities said that anyone with information about the case should call the Dearborn police at (313) 943-2240.Like Blaze News? 'Diversity is an operational imperative': Canada's VA holds 2-day seminar to promote 'feminist theory of intersectionality'

Veterans Affairs Canada recently released a report detailing their findings from a two-day event titled the 2023 Women and 2SLGBTQI+ Veterans Forum. The lengthy event featured hours upon hours of testimony from different veterans and government employees who gave disparaging reviews of the Canadian Armed Forces and their experiences of alleged discrimination within it.During a six-hour video of the second day of the forum‚ the Veterans Affairs Executive Equity Officer Jackie Wills noted that the event would focus on "multiple marginalizations‚" a concept "rooted in the feminist theory of intersectionality‚" according to the government report.True North reported that retired service member Kareth Huber‚ a man who purports to be transgender‚ suggested that "white male special force" operators have it easier than LGBT members."I’ve been a lot of different places for veterans‚ and there’s always a miasma in the room of‚ 'The freak is now taking the stage‚'" Huber continued."Some of you in the room have seen me get angry because some white male special force operator thinks that he had it bad. Ok‚ be your white male special force operator‚ go do your special force operation‚ and then get the shit beat out of you by your fellow forces because you’re a fag‚" he added.Retired Maj. Kathryn Foss explained that she is a bigoted person simply by way of being born in Canada."I’m racist‚ I’m sexist. I’m all of those. I was born in this country. I was born in this culture‚ so you cannot deny that‚" she claimed. "My father was a little bit more than I am‚ I'll say that."Foss also alluded to a possible thousand-year history regarding racism in the country."Unless you look at the culture‚ and I’m not talking about yesterday. If you go back a few — a thousand years maybe‚ even — it tells you a lot. The culture‚ the ideology‚ what underpins the racism‚ the sexism‚ the transphobia‚ etc." Everybody needs to watch this. \n\nVeterans Affairs dedicated an entire conference to disparaging white Canadians in uniform and calling the military racist. \n\nThese activists are driving @VeteransENG_CA policy while veterans can barely access services. \n\nhttps://t.co/lc80dIcrAe — (@) The official report on the event explained the goals of the veterans organization in much greater detail. Highlights included quotes such as "diversity is a fact; inclusion is a choice‚" and "diversity is an operational imperative."As for their conclusions‚ the document stated that Department of Defense/Canadian Armed Forces senior leaders were committed to upholding a number of promises.A dedication to "evolve the culture" of the military was noted‚ along with continuing the conversation with "equity-deserving and historically marginalized veterans‚" while sharing "their stories to inform the journey toward equity."Veterans Affairs also said it will strengthen "story-telling content" and "produce learning materials" in order to create space to recognize diverse needs and honor "diverse histories."With an 87% approval rate from forum participants‚ the report closed with a quote citing the need for "safe spaces" for everyone. The testimonials of the panelists drove the message of inclusion and the need for safe spaces for everyone‚ especially those marginalized as a result of their gender or race.Like Blaze News? How Israel’s red heifer prophecy explains what's happening right now

A story from earlier this week has massively flown under the radar‚ and Glenn Beck believes it might explain a lot about the war in Israel. On the 100th day of the war between Israel and Hamas‚ a Hamas spokesman proclaimed that Israel’s aggression “reached its peak” with “the bringing of red cows” to the Holy Land. This is a reference to the red heifer prophecy‚ which some Christians and Jews believe will usher in the building of the third Jewish Temple and the End Times. “Red heifers are important for a purification process that needs to be done before the Temple Mount can be restored and the temple can be rebuilt on it‚” Glenn Beck explains‚ noting that many people will not be aware of the meaning. “If you’re not religious‚ it probably means nothing to you‚” he continues. “However‚ Hamas has just pointed out that they are at least following the red heifer story close enough to use it as the stated reason to launch the surprise invasion.” The Grand Mufti‚ who became the father of radical Islam in the 1920s‚ was the first to bring up discussions about Al Aqsa and the Third Temple. “The Jewish people were immigrating and coming in the 1920s to Israel‚ and al-Husseini‚ the Grand Mufti‚ he was able to spread his anti-Semitism and the idea that the Jews were coming to destroy the Al Aqsa Mosque to rebuild the Third Temple‚” Glenn explains. If the Third Temple is not rebuilt‚ then that stops the prophecy of the return of the Messiah. “How is that going to happen with the Al Aqsa Mosque on top? Don’t know. Well‚ he got everybody wound up so much‚ it peaked in 1929‚ and they went on a terror raid a lot like October 7th‚” Glenn says. “We should be watchful‚” Glenn continues‚ warning that “we are told to look for these things.” “I think the best thing that we can do is pray‚ the best thing we can do is prepare ourselves spiritually‚ temporally‚ physically‚ prepare for uncertain times‚” he adds. Video: Cops actually arrest owner of $1 million home for changing locks on squatter‚ charge her with unlawful eviction

Cameras were rolling when police arrested the owner of a $1 million home in New York City for changing the locks on a squatter and charged her with unlawful eviction‚ WABC-TV reported Monday."It's not fair that I‚ as the homeowner‚ have to be going through this‚" Adele Andaloro told the station. What are the details?WABC said Andaloro inherited her family's home in Flushing‚ Queens‚ after her parents passed away — and she was in the process of selling it when she noticed the front door and lock had been changed.Turns out squatters moved into her home in February and refused to leave‚ she told the station."I'm really fearful that these people are going to get away with stealing my home‚" Andaloro added to WABC. Image source: YouTube screenshotIn New York‚ squatters have rights after 30 days‚ the station reported. "By the time someone does their investigation‚ their work‚ and their job‚ it will be over 30 days‚ and this man will still be in my home‚" Andaloro complained to WABC.The station said its crew was with Andaloro when she went to her property and witnessed a woman walking up to the house‚ unlocking the door‚ and leaving.Andaloro decided to enter the property with her daughter — and her property deed in hand‚ WABC said. "This is proving everything I said‚" Andaloro told the station as she entered her home's main room. "This is my furniture‚ these are my curtains."'Who are you‚ sir? Get out of my house'Then she found two men inside her home‚ WABC reported. "Who are you‚ sir? Get out of my house‚" Andaloro said to one man sleeping in a bedroom as cameras rolled.WABC said it asked one of the men how long he'd been there‚ and he replied‚ "I moved in two days ago." The station said the second man refused to answer questions. But they did call police on Andaloro‚ WABC noted‚ adding that she in turn called a locksmith."We didn't come in illegally‚" Andaloro also said‚ according to the station. "The door was open."When police arrived‚ they began interviewing the men and neighbors‚ and they asked for documents‚ WABC said. "Do you have something that shows you've been here more than 30 days?" one officer asked the men‚ according to the station.Sure enough‚ the men failed to provide police with documentation‚ and WABC said officers escorted both of them off the property. Image source: YouTube screenshot Image source: YouTube screenshotBut police also had a warning for Andaloro about changing the locks‚ the station said‚ adding that it's against the law in New York to turn off utilities‚ change locks‚ and remove belongings of someone claiming to be a tenant."I may end up in handcuffs today if a man shows up here and says I have illegally evicted him‚" Andaloro told WABC. "I said‚ 'Let him take me to court as I've been told to take him to court' because today I'm not leaving my house."'He can't be kicked out'Just a few minutes after police left and the locks were changed‚ a man who claimed he was leasing the house showed up with one of the men officers had just escorted off the property — and they pushed through the front door‚ the station said. Image source: YouTube screenshot "Do you see this this guy just literally broke down my door‚ broke through myself and my daughter‚" Andaloro told WABC as cameras continued rolling. Image source: YouTube screenshotWhen the cops showed up a second time‚ it was bad news for Andaloro."He can't be kicked out‚" police told her‚ according to the station. "You have to go to court." Image source: YouTube screenshotWABC said police consider it a landlord-tenant issue and that the law states the dispute has to be handled through housing court and not with police. The kicker? The station said because Andaloro changed the locks‚ police arrested her for unlawful eviction. Image source: YouTube screenshotMore from WABC:When Eyewitness News asked Brian Rodriguez‚ the man who claims to have a lease‚ for documentation he provided none. Instead‚ he showed bills for work he claimed he had done to the house. He said he moved into the home a few months ago and signed documents with a realtor but wouldn't say who that realtor is. "You got to go to court and send me to court‚" said Rodriguez. He said he'll leave "if she pays me my money that I put in the house‚" said Rodriguez. "Pay me the money‚ and I'll leave‚ or send me to court; it's that simple."But the station said such disputes are anything but simple‚ and that the Rent Stabilization Association said it takes an average of 20 months to resolve eviction cases in New York City.As for Andaloro‚ she told WABC her only option now is to open an eviction filing in landlord-tenant court. Illegal aliens have constitutional right to carry gun: Federal judge

Illegal aliens have constitutional right to carry gun: Federal judge

A federal judge in Illinois has declared unconstitutional a federal statute prohibiting illegal aliens from owning a firearm. In June 2020‚ Heriberto Carbajal-Flores‚ who is in the United States illegally‚ was arrested in Chicago for carrying a handgun in violation of Title 18 of the U.S. Criminal Code‚ which prohibits illegal immigrants from possessing firearms or ammunition. Carbajal-Flores and his attorneys argued that he carried the gun for self-defense "during a time of documented civil unrest" following the death of George Floyd. Two lower courts disagreed and affirmed the Title 18 statute. On March 8‚ however‚ U.S. District Court Judge Sharon Johnson Coleman of the Northern District of Illinois‚ an Obama appointee‚ reversed those lower court decisions and ruled that Carbajal-Flores did not forfeit his natural right to self-defense simply because he is in the U.S. illegally."The Court finds that Carbajal-Flores' criminal record‚ containing no improper use of a weapon‚ as well as the non-violent circumstances of his arrest do not support a finding that he poses a risk to public safety such that he cannot be trusted to use a weapon responsibly and should be deprived of his Second Amendment right to bear arms in self-defense‚" Coleman wrote in the decision. The ruling seems to hinge on the wording of the Bruen case decided by the U.S. Supreme Court in 2022. In that case‚ SCOTUS justices ruled 6-3 that gun restriction legislation must be "consistent with this nation’s historical tradition of firearm regulation." As there seems to be no historical precedent for illegal immigrants immediately losing their right to self-defense‚ Coleman ruled in favor of the defendant and declared the statute unconstitutional."The noncitizen possession statute‚ 18 U.S.C. § 922(g)(5)‚ violates the Second Amendment as applied to Carbajal-Flores. Thus‚ the court grants Carbajal-Flores’ motion to dismiss‚" the ruling stated. The ruling has found favor with many gun rights advocates. In a blog post on the website Bearing Arms — which calls self-defense "a pre-existing‚ inalienable right" — Navy veteran Tom Knighton noted that as "a natural right‚" the Second Amendment "would naturally apply to everyone‚ even those who broke the law in coming into this country."Attorney Matthew Larosiere‚ who specializes in the Second Amendment‚ likewise argued‚ "To find that illegal immigrants are outside of 'the people' protected by the Second Amendment‚ you must believe that the Framers were talking about a different 'people' in the First‚ Fourth‚ Ninth‚ and Tenth Amendments."Political commentator Jay Oliver took a slightly different‚ though not necessarily incompatible‚ view. "Those who are here illegally cannot possess a firearm of any kind that is obtained in illegal fashion‚" Oliver said in a statement to Newsweek (emphasis added). "... Unfortunately‚ we have seen too many trends where innocent lives are being lost based on upon the progressive nature of those in charge of courts and opinions."Like Blaze News?
