Norfolk Witness Describes FLYING 'BAT-LIKE' UFO

The witness describes a jet-black oblong shape‚ dark and bat-like‚ and in the center was a circle of dull red light. She was mystified by the sight. What did she see?The following account was forwarded to me:"One moonlit night in winter at 7:20 PM‚ a practical‚ and down-to-earth retired solicitor’s clerk‚ Miss Bertha Humphries of North Walsham in Norfolk‚ stumbled upon the inexplicable. She recalls‚ “It had been snowing heavily‚ and when I took my little dog for his evening walk‚ the ground was thickly carpeted with snow‚ so I decided to go for a short walk down one side of the road and up the other”. Sooty was on a lead‚ and at the bottom of the Mundesley Road (where she resides) near Crows Lane‚ they crossed and returned on the other side‚ walking slowly because it was slippery underfoot. She recounts‚ “I glanced ahead and at the top of the road where it swerves at the bend‚ I saw a dull‚ red glow moving above the ground from side to side."“At first I thought it was the rear lights of a car reversing. Then the glowing still persisted moving‚ I thought possibly it was snow spots I was seeing‚ just as one sees sunspots. I rubbed my eyes – we walked on. Then I stopped and stared‚ as the object had now emerged from the narrow part of the road and was floundering along.""It was a jet-black oblong shape‚ dark and bat-like‚ and in the centre was a circle of dull red light. I stood still‚ mystified when the next thing I knew it was coming towards me slowly and taking up the complete crown of the road.""When it reached the wider section of the road‚ near the Orchard Gardens public house‚ it floundered and fluttered and slowly rose into the air across the open space until it reached the housetop level‚ the red circle still glowing and the black shape flapping and billowing like a cloak. Then I observed it was dragging behind‚ as it were the tail of a kite‚ a miniature of itself – black‚ oblong‚ with a glowing red circle in the centre."It stayed for a second or two at rooftop level‚ then with renewed effort shot up to a much higher level‚ floating again. Then it shot up higher still and disappeared in the clouds. All this was in complete silence as the object made no noise whatsoever‚ although it struggled hard to get airborne. It would seem that the object got caught in the narrow section of the road‚ as the red glowing was drifting from side to side.""It was not until it came floundering to the wider part that I could see its shape‚ which took the form of an oblong sail and it floated towards me. After it became airborne and had disappeared from sight‚ a gentleman came along. I asked him if he had seen an unusual object in the sky. He unfortunately had been gazing down watching his step‚ as it was very dangerous walking. He had seen nothing and suggested that the object might be something sent out from the radar station to warn ships. Needless to say‚ I did not tell how the object became airborne – and that it had previously been floundering along the Mundesley Road!”She told no one of her uncanny experiences as she was sure that nobody would believe her‚ but stressed it was perfectly true. She later wrote to the Astronomer Royal about the incident‚ but no response was forthcoming."NOTE: I was told that this was originally published in the Fountain Journal (No.2‚ 1976 Vol)‚ but I can't verify this. ‘Saturday Night Live’ Won’t Touch Hunter Biden (And We All Know Why)

Even diehard MAGA fans must admit one truth about their favorite president. Donald Trump is the perfect foil for political satirists.  The bombast The rallies The ego The love life The mannerisms Did we mention the ego? It’s not Trump’s fault that most comedians looked that gift horse in the mouth. The same can be said for Hunter Biden. The First Son’s adult life could fuel a thousand sketches. Drugs. Prostitution. Tax evasion. Cocaine suddenly appeared in the White House. Dodging child support payments. The “Laptop from Hell.” Texting the n-word. His art career.  That’s not to mention the allegations summed up by the “Biden Crime Family” moniker. Plus‚ he’s constantly offering up new material. Earlier this week‚ Hunter Biden refused to testify behind closed doors. He could face contempt of Congress charges for his defiance. Now‚ quick‚ name a classic “Saturday Night Live” sketch that featured Hunter Biden as the main attraction. You can’t because it’s never happened. Pete Davidson briefly played the First Son in a sketch three years ago. The comic actor made Hunter Biden look cool‚ entering the courtroom on a hoverboard. Davidson’s Hunter literally said‚ “[Trump] is just pointing at me to distract from his own crimes.” That’s a talking point‚ not a punch line. The “SNL” Hunter Biden then rattled off more allegations levied against him before saying they all applied to the Trump family‚ not the Bidens. “You’re burned‚” he quipped before zooming away. When Hunter Biden’s name does come up on “SNL” it’s often to attack Republicans. This sketch‚ which skewers Trump’s adult children and downplays Hunter Biden leveraging his family name‚ is a perfect example. Even the far-Left Uproxx.com noted how “SNL” treated the most recent Hunter Biden news during a “Weekend Update” segment. The president’s son was hit with a new indictment‚ which revealed that he spent millions on “drugs‚ escorts and girlfriends‚ luxury hotels and rental properties‚ exotic cars‚ clothing‚ and other items of a personal nature.” The revelation has provided comics plenty of fodder‚ including on SNL‘s Weekend Update — who were able to make it a joke about a certain former president [emphasis added] instead. Hunter Biden is a recovering addict‚ and both he and his media defenders have used that as a defense against his various misdeeds. Could “SNL” be taking a similar stance‚ refusing to mock a man who finally conquered his demons? Perhaps. It doesn’t explain why the show routinely skewers MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell‚ who famously battled a crack addiction to become a millionaire. It’s not as if “SNL” avoids mocking adult members of the ruling party. The show wisely left Amy Carter‚ Sasha and Malia Obama and Barbara and Jenna Bush alone. They were all under 18 years of age when their fathers took the oath of office.  Good. That hasn’t stopped “SNL” from mocking Billy Carter‚ Roger Clinton and Trump’s adult children – Eric‚ Donald Jr. and Ivanka. None offer the comic potential Hunter Biden delivers. The Trump siblings got roasted relentlessly on the show in various sketches. The “why” here is obvious. “Saturday Night Live‚” once a bipartisan sketch series‚ now relentlessly promotes progressive talking points. Democrats are defended or ignored. Republicans get skewered week after week. The show can barely mention President Biden in any of its signature sketches. If it won’t hold the most powerful man in the world accountable with humor‚ there’s no chance it’ll mock a First Son with serious‚ and sobering‚ ties to his pappy.

Horowitz: Now is the time to counter the Rainbow Jihad’s assault on marriage

It started out with the sentiment of “just give them their marriage certificate and let them think they are married.” It rapidly expanded to “bake the cake‚ or else‚” forcibly taking babies and placing them with same-sex couples‚ and flooding our education system with literature promoting Adam and Steve on an equal footing for parenting. Then there were the drag shows‚ castration‚ and the full smorgasbord of transgenderism. On deck? We can only imagine. Which is why public sentiment is finally turning back against the Rainbow Jihad. Consequently‚ now is the time for conservatives to press the momentum and finally fight back against the broader assault on our values. It was once thought that support for the broader homosexual agenda was an impervious juggernaut that would just grow stronger every year. And indeed‚ in every survey over the past two decades‚ support for the concept of “same-sex marriage” grew to the point that even a majority of Republican voters expressed acceptance of it. Now‚ according to a new Gallup poll‚ for the first time in years‚ support for the morality of such relationships has dramatically slid back in just one year. Overall‚ according to the May survey of about 1‚000 adults‚ support for these relationships diminished from 71% to 64%. But the drop was most acute among Republican voters‚ where it regressed from 56% in 2022 to a minority position of 41% this year. That is the lowest number since 2014. These findings are very significant because the wording of the question by Gallup is framed around the more hard-core moral objections rather than the legal‚ political‚ and social problems with placing Adam and Steve on the same playing field as Adam and Eve. The exact question was: “Regardless of whether you think the issue should be legal … please tell me whether you personally believe it is morally acceptable or morally wrong.”It’s no secret that America has become increasingly more secular‚ so the fact that more people find these relationships morally wrong‚ including an additional 6% of Democrats‚ is quite telling. Politically speaking‚ the question was never whether we should ban people from living together as a violation of our moral ethos. It was whether that relationship should be fully recognized as a marriage‚ triggering all of the legal and social consequences thereof. What if people were asked: Should states be forced to place adopted babies in a home with two men on equal legal footing as a home with a mother and father? What if they were asked whether states should be forced to issue birth certificates indicating that same-sex couples parented the kids on equal footing as biological parents‚ as required by the Supreme Court in Pavin v. Smith‚ two years after Obergefell? The point is that the 2015 Obergefell decision was not about the morality of homosexuality. That was more related to Lawrence v. Texas in 2003. It was the notion that there is a constitutional right to recognize their relationship‚ which they have always been free to pursue‚ as a marriage. But the question they could never answer‚ though‚ is this: If this was all about equality and protection of rights‚ how is it justified to redefine marriage for two same-sex individuals but not for other relationships? If marriage is no longer limited to one man and one woman‚ why should it not include polyamory‚ polygamy‚ and incestuous relationships? As Chief Justice Roberts noted in his Obergefell dissent‚ Kennedy’s insertion of the adjective “two” into his edict redefining marriage as between any two individuals of the same or opposite sex makes it clear that personal social preference now trumps legal consistency.“Although the majority randomly inserts the adjective ‘two’ in various places‚ it offers no reason at all why the two-person element of the core definition of marriage may be preserved while the man-woman element may not‚” wrote the chief justice in Obergefell v. Hodges. “Indeed‚ from the standpoint of history and tradition‚ a leap from opposite-sex marriage to same-sex marriage is much greater than one from a two-person union to plural unions‚ which have deep roots in some cultures around the world. If the majority is willing to take the big leap‚ it is hard to see how it can say no to the shorter one.”We understand that because of Obergefell‚ there is now a “right” to force states to codify every behavior activists place into the ever-growing sexual acronym into civil rights. Thus‚ even if one has no problem with gay marriage per se‚ at this point it is obvious why Obergefell itself must be overturned. It is not a shield for those engaging in such behavior; it is a sword against all of us in society who are forced to elevate just one form of “alternative” relationship to the absurd level of a marriage.Legally‚ with the Dobbs opinion overturning Roe‚ it is indefensible to keep Obergefell in case law. Dobbs re-established the standard of “deeply rooted in history and tradition” as a perquisite to asserting an unenumerated right. Say what you want about abortion‚ but it was rooted in our history for much longer than the concept of a same-sex relationship being a marriage. There is no reason conservatives shouldn’t work diligently to set up a direct challenge to Obergefell in the federal courts. The eternal lesson conservatives should derive from the broader auspicious polling on gender ideology (of which gay marriage absolutely is a part of) is that when you actually fight the issue in the legislative realm‚ it moves the polling. After years of the gender-bending agenda going unrivaled on the political playing field‚ this year most red states began passing laws barring men in female sports and private female spaces‚ as well as barring the castration of minors. That in itself has moved public opinion‚ just like the actual Obergefell Supreme Court ruling moved the public the other way. Interestingly‚ the last time there was a meaningful drop in GOP support for same-sex relationships was between 2003 and 2004. That was the year Republicans successfully passed marriage amendments in a number of states‚ and the percent of support for recognizing same-sex relationships dropped 7%. Now it has dropped 15 points in one year. Indeed‚ culture can be downstream from politics itself. It’s called leadership. It’s not just Republicans who are softening their tolerance for the gender bending. A comprehensive PRRI poll shows that the percentage of people believing there are only two genders jumped six points in two years‚ including 14 points among Gen Z. A poll from the Daily Mail showed that a majority of all groups believe the gender ideology has gone too far‚ including 60% of independents and even half of young voters. In other words‚ failure on this issue is not inevitable. It is a choice. Republicans sabotaged our momentum on this issue a generation ago‚ and it led to Sodom and Gomorrah. God is now giving us another chance to do this right. Let’s not screw it up.

The twilight of globalization

The twilight of globalization

In the world before COVID and for some time after‚ you could basically talk to or pay anyone‚ anywhere‚ at any time — everything from texting to video chat to formal payments to one-off remittances. In December 2019‚ the world was as close as it had ever been. It wasn’t at peace‚ but it was close. If you shared a language‚ even if that language was just money‚ you could connect. Payments and speech are a good measure of how connected people are. When we don’t rely on ourselves alone (and barring coercion)‚ we have to ask and convince people to do things for us‚ or we have to pay them to do them for us‚ or some combination of the two. In a digital world‚ payments and speech are nearly identical tools. It’s true‚ some weren’t connected or were unable to use such systems: those living on the fringes of life or people who were outright political dissidents. They occupied a growing level of un-personing formerly only reserved for enemies of the state‚ like the cartels and dictatorships put on the Office of Foreign Assets Control list. We’d gotten used to certain people being kicked off YouTube or unable to get a Visa credit card or register with GoDaddy because of their views. Every Facebook Boomer had a story of being “ deplatformed” or “canceled” just like Dave Chappelle. There were more serious cases‚ but largely someone not being able to get onto Twitter or use PayPal would turn out to be not as huge a life-ender as one might have thought. When the world was one thing‚ one complete structure‚ something almost achieved in the winter of 2019 – OFAC-listed individuals and the pariah status of North Korea and Iran notwithstanding – there was no need to have more than one (or two) ways of doing things. Former French Foreign Minister Hubert Védrine put it thus in a May 2001 dialogue with Dominique Moïsi: Dominique Moïsi: Should the United States be compared with the Roman Empire rather than with the more recent British Empire? And should we conclude that its history is only just getting started? Hubert Védrine: America today is much more than the British Empire – and closer to what the Roman Empire was compared to the rest of the world in that era. Maybe not in terms of duration‚ but surely in terms of universality and influence. … As globalization tends to be equated with Americanization‚ there is inevitably confusion‚ which leads some watchdogs to jump up and denounce France’s anti-Americanism. But that’s not what it is! (Emphasis and link to Slate Star Codex added.) Moïsi: Is globalization the same thing as Americanization? Why does the United States seem to be like a fish in water in this new global world? Védrine: “Like a fish in water” is exactly the right expression. The United States is a very big fish that swims easily and rules supreme in the waters of globalization. Again‚ globalization is not the completion of an American plan‚ even if it is the case that the big American firms have supported it and are profiting greatly from it. … Americans get great benefits from this for a large number of reasons: because of their economic size; because globalization takes place in their language; because it is organized along neoliberal economic principles; because they impose their legal‚ accounting‚ and technical practices; because they’re advocates of individualism. Globalism and its discontents The situation viewed in hindsight is a lot different than in 2001. Have Americans still benefited greatly from globalism? Is the United States still the world’s largest economy? Are Americans still the only ones who inform everyone about world events using the lingua anglica? The principles of neoliberalism – are they popularly advocated within views of immigration or housing or automation and political economy in general? You can make an argument for Americans being individualist‚ dynamic‚ optimistic people in spirit‚ I guess‚ but is that even still true? Listen very closely to Vladimir Putin’s answer to this seemingly simple question concerning how Trump dealt with the European allies of the U.S. as an American president bucking the status quo. It starts at 10 minutes and 53 seconds. Putin: You and I are talking ahead of the G20 meeting. It’s an economic forum‚ and it will undoubtedly have discussions on globalization‚ global trade‚ and international finance. Has anyone ever given a thought to who actually benefited and what benefits were gained from globalization? The development of which we have been observing and participating in over the past twenty-five years‚ since the 1990s? China has made use of globalization‚ in particular‚ to pull millions of Chinese out of poverty. What happened in the United States‚ and how did it happen? In the United States‚ the leading companies – the companies‚ their shareholders‚ their partners – made use of these benefits. The middle class hardly benefited from globalization. [Consider] the take-home pay in the U.S. The middle class has not benefited from globalization. It was left out when this pie was divided up. The Trump team sensed this very keenly and clearly‚ and they used this in the election campaign. No wonder the U.S. government thought that the Trump campaign was colluding with Russia – they have the same bad habit of pointing out that the middle class isn’t doing very well under the managerial elite. Hostility abroad‚ disloyalty at home. But if that uneasy status quo saw changes percolating during the run-up to Trump’s election and through the Trump era‚ it has boiled over with COVID and the invasion of Ukraine‚ two formerly “current thing” status-holders that have since become something like endemic hot-take generators. Despite the implosion of UST/Luna/Terra (search “The narrow lesson” in that link if you’re not running Chrome)‚ the volume of payments and transactions in crypto still increases. The capital flight of the numbers that live in centralized databases controlled by government audits and edits hastens into decentralized databases controlled by no one. As it’s sometimes said‚ this upsets “all the right people.” The SEC wants you to know that it sees all of this just the same as any other kind of securities offering. The Treasury and the IRS want you to know those 87‚000 planned hires are for going after billionaires and not landscapers. And why is that happening? Well‚ if you’re a Canadian truck driver and your protests against the Trudeau government don’t sit right with the state‚ it will turn off your bank account. If you’re a nuclear-armed country‚ and your foreign policy interventions (read: wars) don’t have the same kind of state propaganda push behind them as‚ say‚ the U.S. invading Iraq to find those WMDs‚ it will turn off your bank account. Not for its own consumption of your exported oil‚ but still. Multi-polar politics The rest of the world hasn’t just aligned to Kissinger’s New Order‚ either. India‚ a country the U.S. cannot afford to alienate and whose defense spending it wants to take a share of‚ may soon allow Russians to simply ignore U.S./SWIFT sanctions on banks and credit cards. China and India‚ long rivals that have even fought wars over territory as modern states‚ engaged in joint exercises with Russia. What might look like the European Union rushing into the arms of Big Daddy America when the Russians come a-callin’ portends to some degree the replacement of NATO. Can the U.S. fight a two-front war against China or Russia? Can NATO ex-U.S. even respond in a meaningful way against merely China? Would India‚ with a prominent diaspora in the U.S. and U.K.‚ turn its back on its old friend as it emerges as a player on the global stage‚ with its own interests and its own destiny? The answer was obvious in retrospect. What could be simply analyzed as a “new Cold War” with just one front and two players is becoming more complex and multi-poled‚ and it’s hard to see how it would ever be put “back” into the reigning status of the United States in charge of it all in the 1990s. It’s not clear that this zenith of power was used to serve Americans particularly well. The promise of globalization was kind of like the promise of Coca-Cola as Andy Warhol saw it: You can be watching TV and see Coca-Cola‚ and you know that the president drinks Coke‚ Liz Taylor drinks Coke‚ and just think‚ you can drink Coke‚ too. A Coke is a Coke‚ and no amount of money can get you a better Coke than the one the bum on the corner is drinking. All the Cokes are the same‚ and all the Cokes are good. Liz Taylor knows it‚ the president knows it‚ the bum knows it‚ and you know it. The old dream of the Golden Arches Peace saw McDonald’s come to Moscow. Today Russians may still eat hamburgers‚ but they’re from Вкусно–и точка. And while the United States can stop Russians from watching Disney+‚ it somehow doesn’t understand why it doesn’t get more international cooperation. Perhaps it has something to do with stopping other people from eating food. Hamburgers and national defense. The manufacturing of light pickups and utility vehicles and streaming entertainment media. Do we rely on ourselves for these things‚ or do we ask others to furnish them for us? A globalized world says that we can simply outsource our problems. We can delegate our work. It says that we can rely on someone else – perhaps someone else who has come from Guatemala‚ perhaps even illegally – to make our food and bring it to us. But the masters of this global order also expected us to accept many other things‚ too‚ and to accept the pursuits of their own interests‚ often at our expense. That order is quickly evaporating. That soft governance‚ which buoyed the pre-eminence of the United States (but not always Americans)‚ is falling apart because cheap stuff from someone else comes at the cost of one’s own strengths. The opposite of globalization might just be self-reliance.

United Airlines sued after first-class passenger served 9 vodka drinks‚ allegedly sexually assaults woman

A United Airlines passenger who was sitting in first-class has apparently filed a lawsuit after she was sexually assaulted by a passenger who had one too many drinks. The crew on the flight allegedly served the man in question at least nine vodka and orange juice beverages‚ according to the lawsuit obtained by the New York Post. The alleged incident took place on October 2 of last year‚ and the lawsuit was filed in a Colorado court on Wednesday. The 51-year-old female victim — who has not been named — was apparently seated in 1A‚ which was right next to the alleged perpetrator‚ who has also not been identified. During the first half-hour of the flight‚ the report noted that the two had a "pleasant conversation."The complaint went on to say that "[h]owever‚ once in-flight‚ the Assailant requested drink after drink‚" primarily vodka and orange juice. The constant request for more drinks "caused United's flight attendant to grow frustrated" with the situation. "To avoid having to continue bringing him drinks so frequently‚ she began giving the Assailant multiple servings of alcohol at a time ... in larger glasses‚" the complaint said‚ per the Post. The complaint went on to say that the flight attendant served the man "at least nine servings of alcohol‚ and possibly more‚" according to Business Insider Africa.During the flight‚ the woman claimed that the intoxicated man "put his hand on her back" when she stood up to use the restroom. Then‚ an hour into the flight‚ she alleged that she "felt something on her leg‚" eventually realizing that it was the man's hand‚ according to the complaint. The lawsuit noted that the drunk man "again put his hand on [the woman's] leg without her permission." Shortly after‚ the woman “placed [his hand] at the Assailant’s side to make clear that the touching was not welcome and needed to stop."The situation only escalated from there‚ with the woman claiming that the man continued touching her inner thigh and "finally [dug] his hand into [her] crotch‚ all the while being told to stop."The man was also said to have tried to rub the woman's foot‚ as well as reach under her shirt and rub her back. He even caressed the woman's "breasts three times‚" according to the complaint.Just an hour before landing at their destination‚ the man apparently attempted to kiss the woman on the mouth‚ but she refused. "You need to stop this now‚" the woman said‚ as she "pushed him away in disgust‚" according to the complaint. The report noted that United attendants made no attempt to check on the woman "or determine whether the Assailant's state of intoxication was creating problems or difficulties for [her]‚" per the lawsuit.United did not immediately respond to the Post's request for comment on the situation. Teen suffered 'trauma after trauma' after mother was allegedly murdered by cousin‚ who stole her identity to fool family

A New York City teenager recalled the "trauma after trauma" that he experienced when his mother was reportedly killed by her cousin‚ who impersonated her for financial gain. On Wednesday‚ 23-year-old Khalid Barrow was sentenced to serve 25 years to life in state prison for the murder of his cousin. Last month‚ a New York State Supreme Court jury found Barrow guilty of murder in the second degree‚ concealment of a human corpse‚ grand larceny in the fourth degree‚ and criminal possession of stolen property in the fourth degree. On Feb. 25‚ 2022‚ police found the body of 35-year-old Nisaa Walcott near a storage facility in the Highbridge neighborhood in the Bronx borough of New York City. Law enforcement determined that Barrow had "intentionally asphyxiated" Walcott in her apartment in East Harlem.Barrow had been staying at Walcott's apartment. Newsweek reported‚ "He then bound her ankles with a Wi-Fi cord and hid her body in a plastic tub lined with fabric scraps that he placed in a storage room before scrubbing the apartment with bleach."Investigators said Barrow laid Walcott's dead body in a plastic bin and moved it to the roof of her apartment building. Barrow then reportedly used Nisaa's credit cards to go on a week-long spending spree to purchase food‚ drinks‚ and marijuana.Police questioned Barrow a week after he purportedly strangled his cousin to death. Just hours after being questioned by law enforcement‚ Barrow reportedly moved the container with the dead body to a sidewalk across the street from a storage facility in the Bronx. Prosecutors said Barrow attempted to rent a car to take Walcott's body to upstate New York on Feb. 18‚ but was unsuccessful. On Feb‚ 23‚ 2022‚ a relative requested a photo from Walcott's phone to ensure that she was safe. Barrow reportedly responded by impersonating Walcott on her phone and texting an old photo of Nisaa that was recognized by the relative. The next day‚ Walcott's relatives reported her missing after she had not been seen for a while. On Feb. 25‚ 2022‚ a local resident spotted a leg in the bin and called the police. Prosecutors said surveillance camera footage captured Barrow transporting the bin out of Walcott's building in the early hours of Feb. 25‚ 2022‚ and later unloading it on the sidewalk.Barrow also allegedly posed as Nisaa and wrote text messages to relatives and coworkers from Walcott's cell phone to make it seem like his cousin was still alive and well. One of the people that Barrow messaged was Nisaa's 14-year-old son – Omir Walcott. The New York Post reported‚ "Omir Walcott cried as he delivered the wrenching impact statement to a Manhattan courtroom‚ leaving in tears moments before convicted murderer Khalid Barrow — who didn’t even bother showing up to the hearing — was hit with the maximum sentence.""I felt fooled when I found out that I thought that the memory of my mother was kept alive by his text messages‚" Omir tearfully said in court. "I feel horrible inside...it was my fault. I let this man think that he was my mother...that he could get one over on me — and he did.""It’s been trauma after trauma‚" Omir expressed. "It’s like it’s digging at my skin like someone’s nails just scratching."Barrow "repeatedly manipulated" Omir through text messages. He asked Omir for the PIN for Walcott's electronic benefit transfer account and instructed him to leave the door unlocked. Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg said in a statement‚ "The defendant’s criminal conduct was an unspeakable betrayal."Khalid Barrow strangled his cousin in her own home‚ all for his own financial gain‚" Bragg continued. "I am amazed by the resiliency of Nisaa Walcott’s family members‚ who have persevered through the horrific murder of their loved one by her own cousin. They attended the trial every single day‚ listening to incredibly disturbing testimony."He concluded‚ "No sentence can undo this family’s pain‚ but I hope they continue to heal from this terrible loss."Like Blaze News?
