General Intuition lands $134M seed to teach agents spatial reasoning using video game clips

Late last year, OpenAI reportedly tried to buy Medal and its vast trove of video game data for $500M. Today, the company spun out a frontier research lab that's using that data to build AI agents that understand how they move through space and time, a concept called spatial-temporal reasoning.

Shooter Jennings Won’t Rule Out Opening A Waylon Jennings-Themed Bar In Nashville – “There Have Been Talks”

Is a Waylon Jennings bar in Nashville on the horizon? In an industry that seemingly never rests, Shooter Jennings is undoubtedly one of the busiest creators in country music. When he’s not creating music of his own, the 3x Grammy winner is producing albums for the likes of Turnpike Troubadours, Charley Crockett, Jake Owen, American Aquarium, Lukas Nelson, Tanya Tucker and more. 2025, in particular, has been an incredibly stacked year for Jennings, producing the likes of Turnpike’s The Price of Admission, Crockett’s Lonesome Drifter and Dollar A Day, Nelson’s American Romance, Owen’s upcoming Dreams to Dream and most notably, the highly-anticipated collection of his father, Waylon Jennings’, lost tracks on Songbird, which debuted at #17 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart this week. With all of that being said, it’s been an incredibly busy year for Jennings, both as an artist and producer. With Songbird’s release back on October 3rd, Jennings recently appeared on Rolling Stone’s “Nashville Now” podcast. Sitting down with host, Joseph Hudak, the “Lonesome Blues” singer dove into everything from the discovery and construction of the lost tapes on Songbird and separating himself from his father’s work to the current state of Nashville and even Sabrina Carpenter’s recent dip into the genre during her recent Opry debut. On the topic of Nashville, Jennings opened up about how he finds the constant white noise of covers being played at every bar incredibly annoying. Recalling a recent trip with the Turnpike Troubadours, he joked and said he wanted to open up a music-free bar, noting all the real musicians would rather be there. “I went to go get lunch, and everywhere I went there was someone yelling a f****** song out of a restaurant. I’m downtown, so I’m around Kid Rock’s bar and all that sh*t. Bon Jovi covers are coming out of this room, somebody’s yelling Tyler Childers out of this room… I’m like, ‘Okay, I’m going to try to find a restaurant that has no music.’ If I open up a bar, it’s going to be silent, and I know all the musicians will hang out there… I kind of hate music when I’m here.” Of course, this is thanks in part to the seemingly endless number of artists’ bars that have popped up on Broadway and its surround area over the past decade, ranging from the aforementioned Kid Rock to the likes of fellow country stars such as Eric Church, Jason Aldean, Morgan Wallen, Luke Combs, Lainey Wilson, Luke Bryan, Post Malone and more. Though bars bearing artists’ names have undoubtedly become all the rage lately, Shooter has been hesitant to green-light a Waylon Jennings-themed bar over the years. This is mostly thanks in part to the simple fact that Waylon famously did not drink all that much. With that being said, however, Shooter revealed that he has recently changed his tune and has not ruled out the possibility of a Waylon bar in the future “if it was the right thing”, noting that there have been serious talks about it in the past. “There was a while where I would not do it because he didn’t drink, and I thought it was a weird thing. But now I’d totally do it if it was the right thing, and there have been talks about it.” With seemingly everyone in the genre getting their own bar recently, highlighted by the fact that even newcomers such as Jelly Roll and Post Malone have their own, I think it’s about time we see some legends, such as Waylon, get their own venue, even if it’s posthumously. But of course, that’s entirely up to Shooter and the rest of the Jennings family to decide. Kenny Chesney, Riley Green & Post Malone To Headline Tortuga Music Festival 2026

Bringing out some heavy hitters. As festival season begins to slowly wind down for the year and winter creeps in, events around the country are focusing their sights on 2026. Recently, we’ve seen the likes of major country festivals such as Two Step Inn, Stagecoach, Buckeye Country Superfest and Jackalope Jamboree announce their lineups. One major festival that was missing, however, was none other than Tortuga Music Festival. After booking the likes of Luke Combs, Eric Church, Morgan Wallen, Lainey Wilson, Tim McGraw, Chris Stapleton and more over the past decade, the expectations were fairly high heading into 2026 for the Florida-based festival. Preparing for their 13th annual beachfront celebration of the genre and its biggest stars, Tortuga announced this morning their 2026 lineup featuring Kenny Chesney, Riley Green and Post Malone as headliners. Once again, Tortuga Music Festival will be held on the sandy shores of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on April 10-12. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Tortuga Music Festival (@tortugamusicfestival) Like most mainstream festivals, the rest of the festival’s performers are a bit of a mixed bag. There’s a good mix of modern greats and former stars, highlighted by the likes of Dwight Yoakam, Clay Walker, Flatland Cavalry, Lukas Nelson, Shane Smith & the Saints, Buffalo Traffic Jam, Cole Goodwin, The Band Loula, The Jack Wharff Band and more. With that being said, however, there are a few duds present throughout the lineup, highlighted mainly by Ice Cube (because every country festival nowadays needs a has-been rapper), Russell Dickerson, Tyler Hubbard, Dustin Lynch and Graham Barham of “Oil Money” infamy. Chesney, who is making his fifth headlining appearance at the festival and even performed at its inaugural year in 2013, couldn’t contain his excitement for the event, noting the sandy beaches of  Ft. Lauderdale are the perfect venue for his show. “I love everything about Tortuga, starting with that very first year! To be on the Atlantic Ocean with all that beach, the sea to one side and A1A to the other is everything this music is made of—and the people who’ve been coming out every time we’ve played there are my kind of people. Work hard, play harder and have fun while loving everyone in the space is a good way to be, and I can’t wait to get there next April.”  Alumni presale for previous attendees of the festival begins today at 12 p.m. ET, with public on sale beginning this Saturday, October 18th, at 10 a.m. ET. Additionally, Vibee Hotel packages for the three-day festival are on sale now. Three-day general admission, general admission plus, VIP, super VIP, hotel and the all-inclusive Captain’s Cabanas packages are all available for purchase with standard general admission starting at $335. Proceeds from ticket sales will also go towards Tortuga’s parent company, Rock The Ocean’s, ocean conservation initiative, which has already raised $6 million over the past 12 years.
