The legendary singer and guitarist Peter Frampton was diagnosed a few years ago with Inclusion-Body Myositis, which is a degenerative muscle disease that eventually will affect his ability to play the guitar. In 2022 the musician finished his farewell tour because he believed that he wouldn't be able to tour anymore in the following years but only a few months after those final shows he decided to return to the road since he was still feeling good and that will continue in 2024. Frampton announced new 2024 tour dates which will celebrate his long-awaited induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, which will also happen this year. Sepultura was formed in Belo Horizonte, Brazil back in 1984 by the brothers Max and Iggor Cavalera. During that first year the bassist Paulo Jr. also joined them and the band's classic line-up would be complete three years later when the guitarist Andreas Kisser was recruited. Those were the musicians who recorded the band's most successful albums: "Beneath The Remains" (1989), "Arise" (1991), "Chaos A.D" (1993) and "Roots" (1996). After a big fight in 1996, the band's vocalist and guitarist Max Cavalera decided to leave the band and one year later, the American vocalist Derrick Green joined the band. The drummer Iggor stayed in the band until 2006 until he also decided to leave the band. Since then, the group remained active with Paulo, Andreas and Green, being accompanied by many other drummers. This year, the Brazilian group announced that the group would come to an end and recently, Max Cavalera said in an interview that he would be open to join them during the band's final concert. Talking with Metal Hammer, Andreas Kisser said that Sepultura would welcome the brothers Max and Iggor on the final show of the tour if they want to be part of it. Metallica's original bassist was Ron McGovney, who was part of the band from 1981 until 1982 and then the group had their first classic bass player, Cliff Burton. He was a fundamental part of the band's sound and songwriting but his career was tragically cut short when he died in a bus accident in 1986. From that year until 2001, Metallica had another important member, Jason Newsted, who was a big contribution for the more commercial years the band had, even recording their best-selling album in 1991. It was in 2003 that the band finally recruited the ex-Ozzy bassist Rob Trujillo to join them and since then he has been a member of the Thrash Metal group. In an interview with Bass Player, Trujillo talked about Burton and Newsted, saying that there are not many bassists around that could play in Metallica and do his job. You know, I live in Los Angeles, but since I joined the band I've been spending more time in the Bay Area, and I actually really like it. Los Angeles has become so overpopulated and blown out. Considered the first supergroup in the history of Rock and Roll music, Cream was formed in 1966 by Ginger Baker, Jack Bruce and Eric Clapton, being active for only two years. Only four albums were released by them but it was enough to make them one of the most influential bands of all time, inspiring countless other groups worldwide, including Rush. The vocalist, keyboardist and bassist of the Canadian band was lucky enough to have seen the British group playing live in Canada in the late 60s and was life changing moment for him. Over the decades he always praised the group and even revealed which are some of his favorite songs by them.
