The Metallica co-founder, guitarist, singer and main songwriter James Hetfield said during a new episode of the "The Metallica Report" podcast that the group Category 7 is one of the new bands he likes. The musician explained that he first discovered them when hearing music through the satellite radio SiriusXM, because it's only like that he usually discovers new bands. At first he said that the voice of the singer sounded familiar and then he discovered that it was actually John Bush (Armored Saint/Anthrax), who was almost Metallica's vocalist in the early days. The band is a spin off of the supergroup Metal Allegiance and it has John Bush, Phil Demmel (Guitar), Mike Orlando (Guitar), Jack Gibson (Bass) and Jason Bittner (Drums). The legendary Black Sabbath co-founder, bassist and main lyricist Geezer Butler is currently promoting his autobiography "Into The Void" and the musician was asked by Songfacts which is the most underrated song of the band. Geezer Butler was part of almost all the albums Sabbath released during their career. He only wasn't part of the albums: "Seventh Star" (1986), "The Eternal Idol" (1987), "Headless Cross" (1989), "Tyr" (1990) and "Forbidden" (1995). The legendary UFO vocalist Phil Mogg announced this year that the Hard Rock band was over and probably wouldn't return anymore. He suffered a heart attack in 2023 and had to change the plans for a possible farewell tour of the band. But now he announced a new band called Moggs Motel and also the release of their first album.
