The Rings of Power: Here’s Sauron’s Rationale for His Sexy Season 2 Look

News The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power The Rings of Power: Here’s Sauron’s Rationale for His Sexy Season 2 Look It’s all about seducing that Celebrimbor. By Vanessa Armstrong | Published on August 7, 2024 Comment 0 Share New Share The marketing train for Season Two of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power is now at full throttle, and this week we got a cover story in Entertainment Weekly that sheds light on what we’ll see in the upcoming episodes, including the impetus behind why Charles Vickers’ Sauron is showing up in a new elven form. In the second season, Sauron is all about making more rings. To do so, he needs to get the elven master craftsman Celebrimbor (Charles Edwards) on board, and being the great deceiver that he is, he comes up with a new persona: Annatar, the Lord of Gifts. With his new ears and long blond locks, Sauron convinces Celebrimbor that he’s an envoy of the vaulted and mysterious Valar. (Spoiler: he is, in fact, the Valar’s sworn enemy.) “In terms of his physicality and appearance, we designed everything from the perspective of: What would best sway Celebrimbor?” Vickers told EW about his sexy new look. “The character had to have a weight and power about him, so that someone like Celebrimbor, who is the great smith, would be persuaded.” The two actors were also able to shoot their scenes chronologically, something that’s not usually the norm, and got to organically delve into their characters’ burgeoning and complicated relationship. “Celebrimbor has the ability, and Sauron has the vision,” Edwards told EW. “It’s an interesting give-and-take, which often happens in these kinds of relationships where they both need each other badly. As you’ll see, it plays out in a very interesting way. It’s something so personal and psychological that is playing out against the backdrop of Middle-earth and the epic scale that you would expect from The Lord of the Rings.” Co-showrunner J.D. Payne also added that Sauron brings down his enemies by seeing the best in them. “The image of the eye is really appropriate, because Sauron sees you,” he said. “He sees the best version of who you want to be, and then he’s able to take your own desires for good and twist them to bring about his own evil ends.” Season Two of The Rings of Power premieres on Prime Video on August 29, 2024. Federal Air Marshal Whistleblowers Expose Weaponized TSA ‘Quiet Skies’ Program

Federal Air Marshal Service whistleblowers have exposed the Transportation Security Administration’s weaponized Quiet Skies program. The whistleblowers have come forward to the Air Marshal National Council, an advocacy council for air marshals. The whistleblowers have reported that former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard of Hawaii—a lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Army Reserve and 2020 Democratic presidential candidate—has been a target under the program, resulting in her being added to the TSA’s suspected-terrorist watchlist. The Quiet Skies program’s purpose is to protect Americans on domestic flights from those who may present an elevated security risk. Since the TSA identified Gabbard as a “security risk,” she unknowingly had “two explosive-detection canine teams, one Transportation Security specialist (explosives), one plainclothes TSA supervisor, and three federal air marshals on every flight she boards.” While the TSA claims that race and religion are not considered when enrolling someone in Quiet Skies, political affiliation is excluded from that policy. In 2022, Gabbard left the Democratic Party and became an independent, and she has been critical of both the party and the military-industrial complex. Gabbard recently criticized the Biden-Harris administration and denounced unnecessary and endless wars. Soon after she made her remarks, she was unknowingly assigned federal air marshals to acoompany her on her flights. Kamala Harris is not knowledgeable or strong enough to stand up to potential adversaries, or just as importantly the unelected warmongers — i.e. the Military Industrial Complex which profits from war, and the National Security State which uses these wars as a pretext to further… pic.twitter.com/1uUS6CtGii— Tulsi Gabbard ? (@TulsiGabbard) July 23, 2024 Biden’s out, Kamala is in. Don’t be fooled: policies won’t change. Just like Biden wasn’t the one calling the shots, Kamala Harris won’t be either. She is the new figurehead for the deep state and the maidservant of Hillary Clinton, queen of the cabal of warmongers. They will… pic.twitter.com/pdwLQwJzR8— Tulsi Gabbard ? (@TulsiGabbard) July 21, 2024 In the Biden-Harris administration, the government has weaponized its powers to intimidate and silence political opponents. For example, the Department of Homeland Security’s Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency surveilled and censored Americans on social media by colluding with Big Tech. The House Judiciary Committee and the Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government concluded in a report that “CISA expanded its unconstitutional practice by developing an elaborate social media censorship apparatus spanning multiple organizations, in order to facilitate the censorship of Americans’ political speech, both directly and by proxy. “There is no constitutionally viable legal authority that allows CISA to engage in this or any other kind of censorship.” cisa-staff-report6-26-23Download Federal agencies colluding with the private sector to carry out their efforts to censor Americans who question the Establishment is a fascistic tactic. The Biden-Harris administration has also weaponized the IRS by making unannounced visits to taxpayers’ homes to harass and intimidate them. The committees listed some of the abuses committed by the IRS: “The IRS conducted an unannounced field visit to the home of journalist Matt Taibbi the same day he testified before Congress about government abuse … [and] an IRS agent gave a fake name and used deception to gain entry into the home of an Ohio taxpayer and then threatened her when asked to leave.” 2023-10-27-fighting-the-weaponization-of-the-internal-revenue-service-the-end-of-abusive-unannounced-field-visitsDownload Since such abuses by the IRS were exposed by Congress, it has stopped making unannounced visits to the homes of taxpayers. A third example of the weaponization of government by the Biden-Harris administration occurred when the FBI targeted traditional Catholics and categorized them as domestic terrorists. The committees found that “the FBI abused its counterterrorism tools to target Catholic Americans as potential domestic terrorists … . [T]he FBI relied on at least one undercover agent to develop its assessment, and the FBI even proposed developing sources among the Catholic clergy and church leadership.” 2023-12-04-the-fbis-breach-of-religious-freedom-the-weaponization-of-law-enforcement-against-catholic-americansDownload The administrative state finds virtuous Americans who want what is good for their families, communities, and country to be the ultimate threat. The Biden-Harris administration is no stranger to weaponizing government agencies against Americans who want to live peaceful and prosperous lives. Federal agencies, under the aegis of the Left, have targeted Americans for opposing the administrative state. The Federal Air Marshal Service whistleblowers have exposed the latest instance of a weaponized agency targeting Americans, and there are more targeted individuals to be announced, the Air Marshal National Council promised Sunday. The first one. Here you go. More to come. EXCLUSIVE – Federal Air Marshal Whistleblowers Report Tulsi Gabbard Actively Under Surveillance via Quiet Skies Program – https://t.co/sEYREuIQJJ@LaboscoSonya @wmahoney5 @RealStevefriend @KyleSeraphin @elonmusk— Air Marshal National Council (@FAMS_AMNC) August 4, 2024 If the administrative state is willing to target even high-profile political figures, you can imagine what’s being done to ordinary Americans. Lawmakers Blast Google, Meta ‘Erasing’ of Trump Assassination Attempt

Two congressional lawmakers took aim at Big Tech’s apparent attempts at “erasing" the Trump assassination attempt from the internet — and possible government censorship collusion to do so. Sen. Roger Marshall (R-KS) and Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) separately sent letters to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and Google challenging Meta and Google’s censorship of images and information related to the assassination attempt on Trump. Gaetz and Marshall called out the tech companies in the letters for their apparent election interference efforts. Gaetz wrote to DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas on July 31 asking for any communications the department had had with Big Tech companies between July 13 and July 31. He cited scandals at DHS, including its habit of colluding with Big Tech to censor speech and the Director of the Secret Service stepping down after failing to protect former president Donald Trump.   “These two major scandals at DHS have a single focal point which is the apparent Big Tech censorship and the digital ‘erasing’ of the assassination attempt on Donald Trump,” Gaetz wrote. The congressman highlighted the widely reported cases of Meta and Google censorship. “Numerous news outlets have reported various irregularities in search results and home pages,” Gaetz wrote. “For example, Facebook has acknowledged that it censored an authentic photograph of Donald Trump as ‘false information’ and Google has acknowledged that it excludes and does not autocomplete results for searches relating to the Trump assassination attempt.”  Related: Trump: Google, Facebook ‘RIGGING THE ELECTION’ with Censorship ‘Again’  Sen. Marshall wrote his letter to Google CEO Sundar Pichai addressing Google’s explanation that it took “no manual action” to suppress search suggestions for the words “assassination attempt on.” The search engine suggested the names of other presidents but not Trump.  Marshall stated that Google’s excuse is “woefully inadequate, disingenuous, and misleading.” He  argued, “If the autocomplete function is truly reflective of the recent searches completed on Google, the self-learning algorithms should have easily adjusted their autocomplete function during a massive increase in search queries over the last two weeks.” Related: Worst Censorship of July: Election Censorship Heats Up Marshall also noted that Google employees have reported political bias as a “company standard” before, and that “some of my Republican colleagues have raised concerns regarding recommendation system algorithms under the umbrella of Alphabet and the bias of content they provide to operators seeking information.” He requested information on Google’s search algorithms, ranking and autocomplete functions. Democrats Now Libertarians? Morning Joe Hypes Walz's 'Mind Your Own Damn Business'

Somebody call the FTC: we've got a glaring case of false advertising! The Democrats are now trying to pass themselves off as some sort of neo-libertarians. Kamala Harris kicked off the notion, making "freedom" her campaign slogan,. And at the rally yesterday announcing her pick of Tim Walz, her new running mate put a cherry on it. Walz claimed: "In Minnesota, we respect our neighbors and their personal choices that they make. Even if we wouldn't make the same choice for ourselves, there's a golden rule: mind your own damn business!" On today's Morning Joe, Jonathan Lemire enthused over Walz's libertarian line: "That line also going to be a thing. Mind your own damn business." Really? Walz believes in respecting neighbors' choices, "even if we wouldn't make the same choice?" As Andrew Stiles at The Washington Free Beacon has noted, during Covid, Walz: "Established a taxpayer-funded phone line in Minnesota so liberal scolds could snitch on their neighbors who refused to wear masks outside." East Germany's Stasi would have been proud!   The Catholic League has exposed other examples of Walz sticking his nose into Minnesotans business, including: During the Covid-19 lockdowns, Walz banned houses of worship from having gatherings of larger than 10 people, even though he permitted retail stores, casinos, bars and restaurants to operate at 50% capacity, and he okayed opening the Mall of America. On April 27, 2023, he signed a law that banned “conversion therapy” for transgender youth. These exploited young people want to “detransition” back to their father-determined sex, but Walz wants to take this right away from them. Other examples of how Democrats are the anti-freedom party: they want to mandate: What kind of cars you can drive. What kind of energy you can use. What kind of people you have to allow into girls' locker rooms and onto girls' sports team. What kind of people you must hire to meet DEI standards. What kind of words can get you fired from your job--or never hired in the first place. What kind of speakers are allowed on campus. So please, "Coach," spare us your neo-libertarian nonsense! Note: Before Jonathan Lemire talked up Walz's "mind your own business,"  Mike Barnicle slobbered over the VP announcement rally: "Watching the Coach yesterday and watching the Vice President yesterday, it was mesmerizing in the sense that it's been awhile since I've seen a rally like that, either on TV or in person.  And watching it, you could just sense the power in the hall. And it was the power of joy, the power of laughter, the power of hope for the future." Gag me with a $40 Harris-Walz camo hat! Here's the transcript. MSNBC Morning Joe 8/7/24 6:12 am EDT MIKE BARNICLE: Watching the Coach, and I'm going to call him the Coach from now until Election Day, watching the Coach yesterday and watching the Vice President yesterday, it was mesmerizing in the sense that it's been awhile since I've seen a rally like that, either on TV or in person.  And watching it, you could just sense the power in the hall. And it was the power of joy, the power of laughter, the power of hope for the future. But especially, the power of those who were in the hall and those who were thinking or considering voting for this ticket, the Vice President, and the Coach. For those considering voting for the ticket, giving them the power to think that they're participating in something that will put a smile on your face. It's been a long time since any aspect of the American politics has put a smile on anyone's face. And these two people yesterday managed to put a smile on the nation's face. JONATHAN LEMIRE: Yeah. The contrast was so evident, and front and center. And Walz, this is what they billed him as. He's got that folksy, Midwestern charm. I think it's right to spend time on his biography. It is very impressive.  Mike is right. The moment where the Vice President referred to him as Coach, and they kept repeating it, Coach! Coach! That's going to be a thing. I think that's clear, and the campaign recognizes that. Walz, talking about how the Republicans have tried to take away abortion rights. And he talked about in Minnesota, even if you don't agree on the same thing, if you're respective of privacy, he said something along the lines of, mind your own damn business when it comes to whether or not the government has the ability to oversee a woman's body.  That line also going to be a thing. Mind your own damn business.

CNN had to correct Harris surrogate on air after getting JD Vance's military record wildly wrong

Senator Tina Smith (D-Minn.) had quite the misfire while talking about the military record of GOP vice presidential pick Senator JD Vance, prompting CNN host Jim Acosta to correct her while on air. While discussing the criticisms the Democrats' new pick for vice president, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, has received for quitting the National Guard right before his unit was deployed for combat in Iraq, Smith claimed Vance had never served in the military."Well, here is Tim Walz, who enlisted when he was 17 years old. He served in the National Guard for 24 years. And I’m not aware of any military service that JD Vance has ever served. So let’s just make the comparison there," Smith said."Well, he was in the Marines," Acosta interjected.'I think that's shameful.'"OK, pardon me for that," Smith replied. Not only did Vance serve in the Marines, he also was deployed to Iraq.Walz has received heavy criticism from members of his National Guard unit and the military community at large for seemingly abandoning his troops right before they embarked on a critical mission. - YouTube www.youtube.com "You know what really bothers me about Tim Walz? When the U.S. Marine Corps asked me to go to Iraq to serve my country, I did it. When Tim Walz was asked by his country to go to Iraq, he dropped out of the Army and allowed his unit to go without him. I think that's shameful," Vance said about the issue. — (@) Due to the large volume of criticism for Walz's military career, a panel on CNN said it may be 2024's version of John Kerry's "swiftboating."Like Blaze News? Recession indicators flash red amid market turmoil

The investor narrative on the economy has shifted from celebrating stock market highs a few months ago to warning of a recession. A stock market sell-off, a significant drop in bond yields, a weak jobs report, and the triggering of a recession-indicating rule have sent pundits into a tailspin. But what does this all mean for you and your family? The undercurrents of a recession have been present for quite some time. Following the typical rule of thumb that defines a recession as two consecutive quarters of negative GDP growth, we experienced a technical recession in the first half of 2022. The powers that be declined to officially label it as such, however. The market has been disconnected from the economy for quite some time, largely due to the Federal Reserve’s nearly 15-year zero interest rate policy disrupting market risks. Fearing a prolonged or double-dip recession (a short recession, then short recovery, then recession again), the government undertook massive spending to prevent showing no growth. You can call this window dressing. Normally, in a healthy, organically growing economy, the government would have a smaller deficit because economic growth would drive more revenue to offset spending. However, in recent years, the opposite occurred. The government ran up an enormous deficit — double the historic average as a percentage of GDP — to create the appearance of a healthy, growing economy. This artificial growth came from government and government-adjacent jobs and spending. Consequently, the national debt burden increased, and new debt had to be financed at higher rates than seen in the last decade and a half. So the growth narrative already had a lot of smoke and mirrors to it as we head into this discussion. The Sahm rule No, the Sahm rule doesn’t refer to stay-at-home moms. Former Federal Reserve economist Claudia Sahm coined the Sahm rule as a recession indicator. It suggests that a recession likely begins when the three-month moving average of the unemployment rate rises 0.5% or more above the lowest three-month moving average in the past 12 months. In a Bloomberg interview Friday after the jobs report, Claudia Sahm was asked if the Sahm rule was “in force,” to which she replied, “It triggered … yeah.” She added, “That comes off of historical experience. That doesn’t necessarily tell us where we are right at this moment … so whether we are at that moment of a recession or not, this is your build into substantial weakening in the labor market.” Given the window-dressed economy, as well as the massive disruptions in the market we have seen from nearly 15 years of zero or near-zero interest rate policy — known in the trade as ZIRP — as well as the COVID mandates, benchmarks today are hard to use. Another recession indicator, the inverting of the yield curve (when the yields — how much an investor receives from bonds — on short-term Treasury securities are higher than on long-term Treasuries), happened way back in mid-2022. In fact, Reuters noted in March, “A key bond market signal of an upcoming recession has flashed red continuously for the longest time ever. … The part of the Treasury yield curve that plots two-year and 10-year yields has been continuously inverted — meaning that short-term bonds yield more than longer ones — since early July 2022. That exceeds a record 624-day inversion in 1978.” The first reading of this year’s second-quarter GDP was 2.8%. While two more readings will follow before it’s finalized, it’s unlikely to drop to a negative number. Additionally, the U.S. deficit projection for 2024 is $2 trillion, indicating significant government spending to keep GDP positive. With all of that, we can project softness in the economy, but whether the window dressing keeps growth from going negative remains to be seen. The bond market It is often said that the bond market is where the smart money is and that it’s the indicator to watch (although, as I noted previously, the yield curve has been inverted for a record amount of time). The yield on the 10-year Treasury, a closely watched indicator for the bond market, went from a high of more than 4.6% over the past three months and more than 4.3% over the past month to close at 3.79% on Friday. CNBC reported that is the lowest level since December 2023. Remember that bonds and yields move inversely to each other. Tthink of bonds and yields on opposite ends of a seesaw; as bond prices go up, yields go down, and vice versa. Driven by Fed commentary and the weak jobs report, decreasing yields were interpreted as a signal of coming rate cuts and concerns about the strength of the economy, increasing the recession discussion. While a weak economy does not help Americans, there are some benefits as yields decrease across the yield curve. Mortgage rates dropped to levels not seen in over a year (6.4% on a 30-year fixed mortgage). Still quite high and with a tight supply of high-priced housing, this may not be enough to shift the housing market dynamics but is still a welcome shift — if it stays, which, given the Fed signaling, is a good possibility. Other floating rate debt and other newly issued debt typically see cheaper financing costs as yields decrease. Gold has performed well in this economic backdrop for several reasons. One reason is the reduced trade-off when bond yields retreat. Unlike bonds, gold doesn't provide cash flow or interest, making it more attractive when bond yields are low. The stock market Feeding off the bond market signals, the jobs report, and some weaker earnings reports, as well as struggles in pricing the highly valued “Magnificent 7” technology stocks, the stock market has lost trillions in market value over the past several weeks, accelerating with more losses on Friday and the Nasdaq going into correction territory — that is, reaching more than a 10% decrease from its high. Added on to that contagion from the Japanese stock market’s massive sell-off — the second worst day since 1987! — and the markets had a rough day to start the week. The Nikkei rebounded Tuesday. While each of the indices opened down several percent, the rout in U.S. markets was nowhere near what Japan experienced. The indices have been on a tear over the last 12 months and were due for a breather, and the potpourri of not-so-great news has been a catalyst. Still, the Nasdaq is up around 29% over the last 52 weeks, and the S&P 500 is up around 26%, so no need to panic quite yet. The market has been disconnected from the economy for quite some time, largely due to the Federal Reserve’s nearly 15-year zero interest rate policy disrupting market risks. While this might be the least relevant signal, economic weakness will impact companies in the market and individuals’ 401(k)s, which is one of the few silver linings as Americans face rising living costs. The Fed is likely to become very accommodating again, not only because of its inclination to support Wall Street but also due to the need to monetize the giant deficits and refinance shorter-duration debt in our $35 trillion and growing debt pile. This is a lot to take in, but I would say that our fiscal foundation has been shaky for a while, and new cracks are beginning to emerge over time. Whether that means official recession or very low growth, get prepared for more financial turbulence ahead, while perhaps having a small amount of time to take advantage of a decrease in interest rates.

Cori Bush brutally defeated in Dem primary — responds with unhinged tirade: ‘I’m coming to tear your kingdom down’

On Tuesday evening, Rep. Cori Bush (D-Mo.) was brutally defeated in the Democratic primary, losing to Wesley Bell. Bush is now the second member of "the Squad" to lose her House seat, following Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-N.Y.).Bell, who was backed by the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, secured a more than five-point victory over Bush, according to Wednesday afternoon election results from NBC News. At the time, approximately 97% of the votes had been tallied.'All they did was radicalize me.'During Bush's concession speech, she tore into Bell, making a remark about an upcoming discrimination lawsuit and noting that she hopes he does his "homework" by talking to St. Louis' Palestinian, Arab, and Muslim communities. She stated that taking away her House seat took "some of the strings off.""See, now I don't have to worry about some strings that I have attached," Bush shouted into the microphone. "All they did was radicalize me, so now [they] need to be afraid.""AIPAC, I'm coming to tear your kingdom down," she added, referring to the pro-Israel group. Bush, who has been a vocal supporter of Palestine, blamed AIPAC for her loss. She previously accused Bell of “trying to buy his seat.”"And let me put all of these corporations on notice: I'm coming after you too. But I'm not coming by myself. I'm coming with all the people that's in here," her defiant rant continued. In a statement released following his declared victory over Bush, Bell said, "I am deeply honored and humbled by the trust the people of the district have placed in me.""Together, we will tackle the challenges ahead and build a community where everyone has the opportunity to thrive," he added. "To all St. Louisans, in the City and County — whether you voted for me or not — I look forward to earning your support and your trust and making you proud in the weeks, months, and years ahead."Like Blaze News? Walz advanced radical LGBTQ agenda as governor, signed bill that doesn't expressly prohibit pedophilia as sexual orientation

Tim Walz, the far-left governor of Minnesota who was recently tapped to be border czar Kamala Harris' running mate in the 2024 election, has advanced a radical LGBTQ agenda since assuming the governorship 2019. Not only does he enjoy unwavering support from the state's first openly "transgender" lawmaker, but he even signed a bill that does not specifically prohibit pedophilia as a recognized sexual orientation. After Walz was announced as Harris' No. 2, Minnesota state Rep. Leigh Finke — a male Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party member who identifies as female and the chair of the Minnesota Queer Legislators Caucus — took to the media to express his unwavering support."From the moment I was sworn in as a member of the Minnesota Legislature, it became clear to me that Governor Walz was committed to being a true ally for the queer community," Finke said in a statement.'Ensuring all trans folx have access to gender-affirming care and the tools they need to thrive.'To demonstrate, Finke pointed to the so-called "trans refuge" bill he helped author and that Walz signed into law in April 2023 after a gender-confused 12-year-old publicly lobbied for it earlier that year. The law codified protections for abortion up until birth and so-called "gender affirming care" and even made Minnesota a safe haven for people from states that have banned gender-related medical interventions."The passage of the Trans Refuge law was just the beginning of our dedication to ensuring all trans folx have access to gender-affirming care and the tools they need to thrive," the Queer Caucus said in a June statement.Finke also made an appearance on ABC News to gush further about the "trans refuge" bill and Walz's other supposed contributions to the "community" the Queer Caucus abbreviates as "LGBTQIA2S+.""Um, you know, when we elected 11 new LGBTQ members, uh, to the House two years ago and created the Queer Caucus, and I started pushing, um, the — the importance of the 'trans refuge' bill that I carried, [Walz] was always right there," Finke stammered.During that interview with ABC News, Finke also noted Walz's previous experience working as an adviser for a gay-straight alliance club at a Minnesota high school where he once taught and coached football."You know, he, Governor Walz, has said all along that he wants Minnesota to be the best place to raise a family," Finke continued, "and he knows that means all families. And — and I think that that says a lot about what he's trying to do and what he can bring to the ticket."Sexual orientation in the Land of 10,000 LakesPerhaps even more troubling than Walz's ringing endorsement from a man wearing earrings and lipstick is his approval of a Pride bill that does not expressly prohibit pedophilia as one of the state's recognized sexual orientations. In May 2023, Walz signed into law the Take Pride Act, which appears to be a series of updates to the Minnesota Human Rights Act of 1993. Part of those revisions included amending the definition of the term "sexual orientation." The bill underwent several rewrites during the legislative phase, but at one point, the definition of sexual orientation listed on the bill included the following statement: "'Sexual orientation' does not include a physical or sexual attachment to children by an adult."However, that statement was later removed, as evidenced by the line struck through it: Screenshot of H.F. No. 1655That language was never restored, and the final definition of sexual orientation included in version of the bill that Walz signed makes a vague association between sexual attraction and adulthood by employing terms like "men" and "women" but does not expressly preclude pedophilia."Sexual orientation" means to whom someone is, or is perceived of as being, emotionally, physically, or sexually attracted to based on sex or gender identity. A person may be attracted to men, women, both, neither, or to people who are genderqueer, androgynous, or have other gender identities.Fact-checkers quickly defended the language of the bill. USA Today asserted that the bill did not protect "pedophiles from discrimination," and PolitiFact insisted that it would not make child rapists a "protected class," even as both outlets acknowledged that the statement about pedophilia had been deliberately removed.H/T: Dark HegelTMLike Blaze News?
