She launched a production company that produced a video with a political group to celebrate her aunt. During his testimony on Wednesday, Wray said that Trump may have been hit by shrapnel or glass and not a bullet. “There is absolutely no evidence that it was anything other than a bullet,” Jackson wrote on Friday. “Congress should correct the record as confirmed by both the hospital and myself. Director Wray is wrong and inappropriate to suggest anything else.” Jackson also gave an update on Trump’s health in the letter, saying that he was doing well. “As such, I want to reassure the American people and the rest of the world, that President Trump is doing extremely well,” Jackson said. “He is rapidly recovering from the gunshot wound to his right ear. We can’t let the federal government hide behind the ‘classified’ label. This investigation must be done out in the open for the American people to see – no more stonewalling, no more evading questions. Time for accountability,” Hawley said. The bill would require information on the identity, motive, method, and actions of the shooter to be declassified, as well as information on preparations for the rally, the response to the attack, and information on the FBI’s investigation into the shooting. Hawleys legislation would also mandate that the Director of National Intelligence submit a report to Congress on the assassination attempt. Previous whistleblowers have told Hawley’s office that the rooftop where a gunman shot at Trump during the rally was abandoned by law enforcement due to heat. Hawley said earlier this week that a whistleblower told his office that law enforcement was supposed to have a person stationed on the building where 20-year-old Thomas Crooks shot at Trump. Hawley said the whistleblower had direct knowledge of Secret Service plans to secure the event. During the shooting, Trump and two supporters were injured, while 50-year-old Corey Comperatore was killed.
