The EU wants to replace Trump

Foreign Affairs. Europe stands united behind Ukraine and it is time to replace Donald Trump as the leader of the free world. This is what EU foreign affairs chief Kaja Kallas says after yesterday's circus at the White House.

"We will increase our support for Ukraine so that they can continue to repel the aggressor," Kallas writes on X and continues:

"Today it became clear that the free world needs a new leader. It is up to us Europeans to take up this challenge."

For now, however, there is still some way to go before we can put action behind our words.

For example, Kaja Kallas herself comes from Estonia, which in 2024 had an active total military of 7,200 men.
