On Aug. 6, 2018, he was arrested by Providence police for first-degree child molestation/sexual assault and ERO Boston immediately lodged an immigration detainer against him with the Rhode Island Adult Correctional Institute. “On Dec. 12, 2022, the Guatemalan native was convicted of first-degree child molestation/sexual assault in Providence Superior Court. He was sentenced to 25 years of incarceration, which was reduced to six years with 19 years suspended,” ICE explained in a press release.
