Vance told the truth about ‘childless cat women’

JD Vance’s wife, Usha, has defended her husband’s “childless cat women” remark as a “quip.” Unfortunately, and not unexpectedly, the Guardian, CNN, MSNBC, and our network channels won’t accept that explanation for what they denounce as an outrage. Vance’s remark shows he’s “weird” and should not be on a presidential ticket, unlike Tampon Tim, who the corporate press as well as Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) assure us is “a heartland-of-America Democrat.”No matter what nutcase positions Tim Walz and Kamala Harris have taken in their radical left political careers — including expressions of sympathy for the arsonists who burnt down Minneapolis during the “Summer of Love” — there is no reason, according to the media, to find these politicians objectionable. Even if Walz has enacted laws to place tampons in boys’ restrooms and to enable sex mutilation operations on children even without their parents’ consent, it’s doubtful that many of those “childless cat women” would object. After all, don’t these women believe in gender fluidity, fighting the “patriarchy,” and like Walz and Kamala, imposing diversity, equity, and inclusion on everyone? To believe that Vance will lose feminist votes because of what he said several years ago is ridiculous. The women who are ranting against him would never vote for Trump or for him.It makes no difference that Vance has said his “quip” was not referring to women who couldn’t have children or who didn’t have husbands with whom they could produce them. He was referring to a now-common human type, and it’s one that I encountered more than once as an academic for over 40 years. Many embattled feminists view childbearing as a surrender to masculinity and consider unlimited abortion rights essential for striking back against what they perceive as a male-dominated society. And some women discourage reproduction as environmentally evil and are certainly vocal about sharing their opinions. To believe that Vance will lose feminist votes because of what he said several years ago, the truth of which seems obvious to me, is ridiculous. The women who are ranting against him would never vote for Trump or for him. They’re ecstatic to be able to vote for the radical woke alternative and feel utter loathing for those running on the Republican ticket. Moreover, Republicans should be no more horrified by Vance’s remark than Democrats are by hearing their candidates dump on pro-life Christians or white workers with terminal high school degrees who object to public school teachers sexualizing the young.Despite the double standard that the left has imposed on us, I noticed the usual suspects in the Murdoch media empire agonizing over the question of whether the GOP can afford to keep Vance on the presidential ticket after his seemingly unpardonable faux pas. If there is a supposed virtue that our Republican establishment has represented for decades, it’s a fetishistic attachment to social respectability. This establishment holds to its fixation no matter how radical and outrageous the other side becomes. People claim we can’t afford to alienate anyone whom decent individuals wouldn’t want to offend. This includes culturally radicalized college women and those in the other camp who might join us if they see us shunning the “far right.”The problem is the other side doesn’t triangulate that way. It is ruthless and amoral in its pursuit of power, and it would laugh at the idea of maintaining armies of gatekeepers to keep out “extremists.” The left is not in any way burdened by an unhygienic fixation on niceness, and this allows it to inflict quite cynically its double standard on the timid and “respectable” who yap about “common ground.”Noting the silver lining in this otherwise bleak situation, I am heartened by younger conservatives who are escaping this niceness cult. I loved how Rep. Byron Donalds (R-Fla.) responded to being hectored by George Stephanopoulos for not repudiating Trump’s suggestion that Kamala’s blackness was just a convenient pose. Donalds ignored the predictable leftist bullying and changed the subject to Kamala’s well-known opportunism. Since Donalds is unmistakably black and not just packaging himself as such on the basis of having some black-looking ancestor, this clash was particularly enjoyable to watch. Although Trump should not have let himself get sidetracked over Kamala’s race, Donalds was correct not to concede any ground to his angry, righteous inquisitor.Having underlined the need for aggressive counterattacks in dealing with the left and its media harem, I would also stress the distinction between a calculated assault and running at the mouth. When Donalds, DeSantis, and Vance hit back at their adversaries, they measure their words. They are not just venting anger. But one may have a different impression when Donald Trump goes after the Republican governor of Georgia, who, by the way, is supporting him for the presidency, on charges from four years ago. One may also get annoyed when Trump calls Kamala Harris a “lunatic” or “low-IQ” opponent. Those are not intelligent uses of firepower but a form of self-indulgence that does nothing to set the opposition on its heels.Be ruthless against a dishonest, vindictive enemy but avoid childish gestures!

Texas church fires senior pastor after he allegedly solicited prostitute for 'full service'

Texas police arrested a former senior pastor after he allegedly solicited who he believed to be a prostitute for "full service." 51-year-old Terren Dames was arrested on May 2 while he was still the senior pastor at North Dallas Community Bible Fellowship in Plano in northern Texas. Dames was charged with suspicion of prostitution after he allegedly agreed to pay $150 to an undercover police officer for sex. An affidavit said that he went to a motel room, knocked on the door, and then texted the undercover officer to confirm he was there. Police pulled over Dames on a traffic stop based on the knowledge that he had allegedly committed a felony. He reportedly told them that he was meeting a friend at a hotel and then had a medical episode. He was released and indicted on the prostitution charge in June. North Dallas Community Bible Fellowship said in a statement that it had fired Dames due to a "moral failing" in May."NDCBF leadership remains devoted to the church's mission of making disciples and vision to empower each member to impact the world by doing the work of Jesus Christ," the statement said, according to WFAA-TV. "Sound, biblical doctrine remains a priority."A profile about Dames on the church's website said that he had four children with his wife, two masters degrees in theology, and a PhD in higher education. Some activists on the left ridiculed Dames after discovering that he had been vocal in his opposition to the transgender political movement. Like Blaze News? Is YouTube's biggest star on the chopping block?

Is YouTube's biggest star on the chopping block?

MrBeast has long been the crown jewel of YouTube. But now his reputation hangs in the balance.Jimmy Donaldson, better known by his alias, is currently drowning in a sea of scandals that threaten to undo years of hard work and goodwill. Through large-scale viral stunts (usually tempered by an element of philanthropy) and an exacting command of the what makes people click, Donaldson has built an empire that extends far beyond the digital screen, with his own line of burgers and candy bars cementing his status as an all-conquering entrepreneur. [Donaldson's silence] speaks volumes. For someone whose entire brand is built on transparency, generosity, and goodwill, this lack of communication feels like a betrayal. He's also become a symbol of digital-age charity, with initiatives like Team Trees and Team Seas painting him as the unassailable good guy of the internet. His propensity to dish out cash, cars, and candy while also planting trees, building hospitals, and restoring sight to the blind has turned him into a cross between Mother Teresa and Willy Wonka.Yet, even the brightest stars can fall, and MrBeast’s Icarus-like demise has been absolutely brutal. The first cracks appeared last month when "Ava" Kris Tyson, a prominent figure on Donaldson’s YouTube channel (309 million subscribers), made headlines for all the wrong reasons. Following the discovery of an alleged inappropriate relationship with a minor, Tyson, who came out as a transwoman last year, came under fire from online critics for grooming. At first, Donaldson defended Tyson, a close childhood friend. As criticism ramped up, however, Tyson left the show. The situation further deteriorated a few weeks later when a former employee, known as DogPack404, uploaded a provocative video accusing Donaldson of staging content and orchestrating fake giveaways. This was DogPack’s debut YouTube upload, and it swiftly garnered millions of views and tens of thousands of comments. If his first upload was compelling, his second was absolutely shocking. Early this month, a former MrBeast associate by the name of Jake Weddle claimed to DogPack that the MrBeast collaborator known as Delaware — who has appeared in multiple videos wearing a mask — was a registered sex offender. Not surprisingly, the video quickly did the rounds. As I write this, it has been viewed almost 10 million times.Weddle claimed that Donaldson had been fully aware of Delaware's past and that his mask was less a funny quirk than a necessary disguise. As Weddle noted, ”They covered up the fact that not only did he work there, but he was the manager when it all started. And you know that he knew because he’ll be in videos. He will be in the thumbnails. He will be around. And whenever he is, he’s wearing a mask.""Why would you wear a mask?” asked a clearly infuriated Weddle. “Why would you conceal your face? What are you concealing?”As the scandal unfolded, another YouTuber, Rosanna Pansino, added fuel to the fire with accusations that Donaldson was hiring private investigators to dig up dirt on those speaking out against him. Pansino claimed that individuals were being offered money to fabricate stories about her and others, further eroding any remaining trust in MrBeast’s camp. The silence from Donaldson’s side has been deafening, with his only public statement being the announcement of a third-party investigation into Tyson’s online behavior. His reluctance to address the more severe accusations, however, speaks volumes. For someone whose entire brand is built on transparency, generosity, and goodwill, this lack of communication feels like a betrayal. And the scandals don’t end there. MrBeast’s high-stakes giveaways and lotteries, which have long been a hallmark of his channel, are now under scrutiny as well. Accusations of rigging and the misuse of non-disclosure agreements have surfaced, raising questions about the fairness and legality of these contests. Again, for a creator whose content is primarily aimed at young people, many of whom are underage, these allegations are particularly troubling. The predatory behavior appears to have manifested in more ways than one. Then there's the growing uncertainty surrounding “Beast Games,” the TV show that was supposed to be Donaldson’s next big venture. Contestants have alleged that Donaldson's production team created hazardous working conditions during filming. They report inadequate food and medical care, with some even suffering from severe sleep deprivation and physical injuries. A recent New York Times article seems to corroborate these allegations, adding weight to the troubling claims. The future of the show, much like Donaldson's reputation, now teeters on the edge. In retrospect, as increasingly unsettling details come to light, MrBeast probably regrets his choice of name. A moniker that once reflected strength and resolve has taken on a much darker significance. The Beast, it seems, is about to be tamed — and perhaps even slayed.
