Experiencer's Multi-Year BRIGHTLY COLORED, STATIC-LIKE SILHOUETTE Encounters

A reader describes her multi-year encounters with brightly colored, static-like silhouette beings that would stand outside her bedroom and watch her. Are these similar to shadow people?I received the following account from a reader:"Hello, I read your blog every day and am a fan on Facebook so I finally decided to email an experience to you.Over around seven years while I was growing up two figures regularly appeared to me at night (sometimes each night of the week, sometimes only appearing once or twice a week). They would appear just outside and just inside my bedroom doorway, and they never tried to move any closer into the room. They would appear while I lay in bed. One figure appeared to be male, the other female. They were perfect silhouettes with no features to speak of. However, they appeared to be made of something similar to static on a television. They were brightly coloured, as if made of tiny blue-pink and green dots of static. Sometimes they stood still and watched me and others they moved quickly and fluently around the area they were standing in. Although a small part of me told myself I should probably feel frightened, I never felt threatened by the figures and I never fell asleep as calmly as when they had appeared. Sometimes I would lose focus of them for a second but they would always reappear a few seconds later. As I grew up I stopped seeing the figures (Probably at about age 11.)They often appeared to notice me, and in all honesty, I got the constant feeling that they were there for me (partly because no one else noticed them, partly because they appeared to me so regularly.)I've had many different experiences with the paranormal since then, having grown up with a passionate interest, but I have never seen anything remotely like these figures since they stopped appearing to me, and I have never really come across anything that could explain it, either. While it may sound like the overactive imagination of a child, the fact that I saw them regularly over six years and the fact that some of my very earliest memories are of these figures (I have earlier memories of these figures than I do of my family) leads me to believe otherwise.I would greatly appreciate any info or any similar experiences you have heard about, although it doesn't seem important when compared to some of the things you are emailed with I've been trying for a long time to find something out about what they were.Thank you very much for your time." BNOTE: Please feel free to comment on submissions. I appreciate the time and effort made by readers when they forward their experiences and thoughts. I sincerely attempt to answer all inquiries and to post credible well-written anecdotes. Thanks again for making this blog a favorite for thousands of readers. Lon**********POLL: WHAT DO YOU THINK? 500 Giant Tortoises Reintroduced to Four Galapagos Islands in 2023

2023 was a banner year for the Galapagos Islands: that wondrous archipelago so famous for its giant tortoises and other endemic species. The long-serving conservation organization the Galapagos Conservancy, also endemic to the islands, recently published its annual report featuring standout figures like over 500 giant tortoises of 5 different species reintroduced to their natural […] The post 500 Giant Tortoises Reintroduced to Four Galapagos Islands in 2023 appeared first on Good News Network.

Halo Won’t Have a Third Season at Paramount+

News HALO Halo Won’t Have a Third Season at Paramount+ The show will be shopped elsewhere, but a third season is currently in the wind. By Vanessa Armstrong | Published on July 19, 2024 Credit: Adrienn Szabo/Paramount+ Comment 0 Share New Share Credit: Adrienn Szabo/Paramount+ Say it ain’t so, Master Chief. The television adaptation of the popular Xbox video game Halo will not get a third season at Paramount+. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the streamer declined to pick up the show for more episodes after season two ended in March. “We are extremely proud of this ambitious series and would like to thank our partners at Xbox, 343 Industries and Amblin Television, along with showrunner and executive producer David Wiener, his fellow executive producers, the entire cast led by Pablo Schreiber as Master Chief and the amazing crew for all their outstanding work,” Paramount+ said in a statement to THR. “We wish everyone the best going forward.” There’s some good news for Halo fans, however: While we won’t a third season at Paramount+, the show’s producers—Amblin, Xbox, and 343 Industries—plan to shop it elsewhere. “We deeply appreciate the millions of fans who propelled the Halo series to be a global success, and we remain committed to broadening the Halo universe in different ways in the future,” said 343 Industries to THR. “We are grateful to Amblin and Paramount for their partnership in bringing our expansive sci-fi universe to viewers around the world.” The Halo series had almost a decade of development shenanigans before it made it to television. While the first season received mixed reviews, season two fared better with critics. No news yet on where potentially Halo may end up, but as of now, you can still watch the first two seasons on Paramount+. Never Confuse Incompetence for Malice

A man can sleep better at night thinking evil men in charge have a plan than realizing incompetent idiots with no plan are in charge. Many Americans have resorted to conspiracy theories because they will not process that idiots are in charge in a confluence of random events who make matters worse through their gross incompetence. During COVID, many people believed so many of the things that were conspiracies came true. They were never conspiracies. They were statements of common sense that ordinary Americans knew were true but the bureaucrats insisted were not so. The competence of ordinary Americans was given disproportion disadvantage to the incompetence of the bureaucrats. Six feet between Americans and plexiglass panels were not going to stop a virus. Everyone knew except the bureaucrats. Once the vaccine proved ineffective, there was never a reason for a booster. But the bureaucrats said otherwise. It was always obvious that if Iran were able to sell more oil, it would use the profits to fund more terrorism. The bureaucrats said it would not be so and released a pile of cash to Iran and let them sell oil. Iran funded Hamas. Hamas attacked Israel. The bureaucrats and the government proved incompetent again. Now, a 20-year-old loner named Thomas Michael Crooks came within an inch of killing former President Donald Trump in a field in Pennsylvania. Every line of sight is supposed to be protected when a President takes a stage. The director of the Secret Service, however, said in an ABC News interview that because the roof of the building where Crooks took up his spot had a slope, it would have endangered Secret Service agents’ lives to take up a position on a roof. Agents whose job is to jump in front of a bullet to protect the President could not be on a minimally sloped roof lest they get injured. The snipers on the even more sharply sloped roof who shot Crooks were local police, not the Secret Service, because of the slope. The Secret Service and local police failed to coordinate. They failed to communicate. Hours before the event, they saw Crooks. They saw him again with a range finder measuring out distances. Members of the crowd saw him and pointed him out to local police. Local police seemed convinced the crowd was seeing the Secret Service. In fact, the Secret Service advance team knew and directed that particular roof be secured, and it was not. On the left, people have speculated that Trump staged the shooting to advance himself politically. Others are convinced Crooks hit a teleprompter and it shattered, cutting Trump’s ear. The reality is a bullet grazed Trump’s ear. The teleprompters were not hit and there are photos to prove it. On the right, people have speculated the Biden administration attempted to kill Trump. Perhaps agents were given a “do not fire” order. Someone created a social media post claiming to be the police sniper, in which he said as much. It was fake. The reality is the government would not rely on a 20-year-old who got booted from the high school rifle team for being a bad shot. The reality is the government could have concocted a private heart attack instead of a very public shooting. The reality is we are governed by idiots. The bureaucracy that cannot deliver the mail on time cannot do much competently. The reality is Trump survived by the grace of God against a confluence of incompetence. To restore trust in institutions, people must be held accountable. But Joe Biden, who fired no one after the disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan, nor fired his secretary of defense for disappearing while on the job, nor fired anyone else ever, will not fire the director of the Secret Service. With no accountability, there is no incentive for competence. Rome could survive repeated crises because its bureaucracy worked for the glory of Rome. We are on the verge of social collapse because our bureaucrats and leaders are idiots working for their own advancement. A week ago, that incompetence very nearly got a former President killed and very nearly started serious civil unrest. COPYRIGHT 2024 CREATORS.COM We publish a variety of perspectives. Are Trump Scandals Just Endless Hours of Noise?

On July 15, the opening day of the Republican convention, federal judge Aileen Cannon dismissed special counsel Jack Smith’s indictments of former President Donald Trump for misuse of classified documents. Legal arguments aside, it cast a shadow over all the breathless media hype that came before it. Year after year, partisan “legacy media” outlets have churned out thousands of stories full of anticipation that the walls of scandal would close in on Trump. Once again, a litany of Trump “legal woes” hasn’t damaged his political standing. A new Media Research Center study of 2023 and the first half of 2024 by Rich Noyes revealed that the evening news shows of ABC, CBS and NBC produced a whopping 1,608 minutes of airtime on Trump legal matters, and as you might expect, it was fiercely negative (95%). The only successful case, the accounting-records case brought by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg — very rarely described as an elected Democrat — attracted 485 minutes of TV news. Even the dry details of jury selection were treated as fascinating. Reporters thrived on negative words. They used the word “crime” or “criminal” 29 times to talk about Trump’s actions; “guilty” was heard 40 times; “felony” was used 48 times, and “convicted” or “conviction” was employed 108 times. Jack Smith’s cases on Trump’s alleged election interference (311 minutes) and Trump’s possession of classified documents (243 minutes) followed behind. The Georgia election case brought by Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis (elected Democrat) brought another 187 minutes of negative publicity. None of these will proceed before the election, much to the media’s chagrin. On and on, these cases went, and their political effect boomeranged. Instead of damaging Trump, it destroyed the chances of his primary opponents. This collection of cases formed the lion’s share of the networks’ coverage of the GOP primaries, crowding out both Trump’s competitors and policy issues. They cared less about candidate debates (which Trump skipped) and more about forthcoming court dates. On Jan. 1, 2023, an average of polls calculated by RealClearPolitics showed 37.2% of Americans had a favorable impression of Trump. By July 10, 2024, that had risen more than five points to 42.5%. At the same time, those viewing Trump unfavorably declined by more than two points to 54.5%. It’s a stark indication of the media’s dwindling influence. Most Americans view these prosecutions, and the subsequent press hype, as overtly partisan, so they are dismissed. The target became a more sympathetic figure through the onslaught. In the end, it can feel like endless hours of noise, like … fake news. That’s not to say every fact is false, but the promotional hype turns out to be false. The Robert Mueller probe never achieved the expected Trump indictments that journalists so deeply desired.  Conservatives challenged the legitimacy of the 2018 Pulitzer Prize for National Reporting. The New York Times and The Washington Post won for stories that “dramatically furthered the nation’s understanding of Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election and its connections to the Trump campaign.” The Pulitzer gang reviewed the winning articles again and insisted “no passages or headlines, contentions or assertions in any of the winning submissions were discredited by facts that emerged subsequent to the conferral of the prizes.” But many of these articles described a prosecutorial process — a process that fell flat. As November approaches, this media-prosecutorial complex clearly failed to accomplish what it hoped for — a deeply damaged Republican nominee. All they have is a Pulitzer participation trophy. At RNC, 98-Year-Old WWII Vet Says He ‘Would Reenlist’ Under Trump

A 98-year-old veteran of World War II says if former President Donald Trump were the commander in chief again, he “would reenlist today.” “I would storm whatever beach my country … needs me to,” long-retired Sgt. William Pekrul declared in his speech on the third night of the quadrennial Republican National Convention. Pekrul introduced himself to the audience in Milwaukee on Wednesday night as “a proud Wisconsinite,” husband, and father of 11 children. He shared his war experiences, among them the horrors he witnessed at “the Nazi war camps.” “In the Battle of the Bulge, my friends and I fought to stop the Nazis’ last major portion of the Western Front,” he said. “We found out later Hitler was dead. The Nazis were defeated. We gave thanks to Almighty God for delivering us from evil.” Pekrul noted that he still misses many of his fellow vets, saying that for WWII veterans like him who are still alive, “America is still worth fighting for.” In his speech, the nonagenarian also criticized the Biden administration’s policies. “It hurts my heart to see what our current president and vice president have done to the country I love so well,” he said, citing the U.S.’s abrupt and chaotic military pullout from Afghanistan, terrorists running “wild in the Middle East,” and letting illegal immigrants “overrun” the southern border.  While some people say “America is an idea,” Pekrul said, he believes “America is much more than that. America is our home.”  He recalled how he kissed the ground and thanked God when he returned to the U.S. after fighting in Europe.  “Where I come from, when somebody comes for me, for my home, you dig your boots in the ground and never look back. That’s the attitude that saved the free world,” Pekrul said. The post At RNC, 98-Year-Old WWII Vet Says He ‘Would Reenlist’ Under Trump appeared first on The Daily Signal.

Rumble CEO Discusses Ad Center as Free Speech Solution to Pro-Censorship Ad Cartels

If you're tired of censorship and dystopian threats against civil liberties, subscribe to Reclaim The Net. Rumble’s new advertising platform, Rumble Advertising Center, was launched as an alternative to those creators and businesses targeted by blacklisting, alarmingly frequently for political reasons. The most egregious example is the most powerful of the groups accused of such practices: the World Economic Forum-affiliated Global Alliance for Responsible Media (GARM). While GARM maintains that its sole purpose is to provide “brand safety,” critics see it as a censorship tool, particularly undermining voices, allegedly going as far as to organize boycotts aimed against entire platforms (and the US House Judiciary Committee is investigating these claims). Rumble’s reaction to this situation is to provide an alternative, with CEO Chris Pavlovski explaining in an interview with Breitbart at the Republican National Convention (RNC) that he views GARM as an “advertising cartel” and that he has been aware that his platform would struggle where advertising is concerned because of its focus on free speech. Display "RNC 2024 LIVE: Rumble CEO Chris Pavlovski on the Importance of Rumble in the Social Media Landscape" from rumble.com Click here to display content from rumble.com Always display content from rumble.com Open "RNC 2024 LIVE: Rumble CEO Chris Pavlovski on the Importance of Rumble in the Social Media Landscape" directly That kind of focus, Pavlovski says, brings with it the risk of facing a boycott that results in large companies not spending money with a given platform. The Rumble CEO went on to liken this sequence of events to a “conspiracy” – but also the point at which his company realized it would not be able to rely on a monopoly-style system like Google, or Fortune 500 companies for monetization and ad revenue. That’s how the Rumble Advertising Center came to be – and its policies are shared with the video platform itself, Pavlovski said. “Just be neutral. Be fair. Don’t treat anybody any differently because of their political views or biases,” the Rumble chief said of the Center, which he describes as part of the Rumble ecosystem necessary to compete against what he sees as cartels and monopolies. Speaking of creating an ecosystem, he noted that another piece of the puzzle, and an important one, is Rumble Cloud – the infrastructure now spanning the US. “We know that if we’re running off somebody else’s tech, then we’re very susceptible to them pushing us around the same way (as ad companies with political agendas),” he noted, stressing the importance of self-reliance both in terms of infrastructure and monetization, and reiterating that Rumble wants to be a platform for free expression, without any inherent bias. Terry Schilling, Jack Posobiec Call for Action Against Big Tech Bias

Human Events Senior Editor Jack Posobiec and American Principles Project President Terry Schilling want action to protect the free speech rights of Americans on social media.  MRC Vice President Dan Schneider spoke to Posobiec and Schilling during the 2024 Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, asking them about their thoughts on the legacy media and anti-conservative bias on Big Tech platforms. Schilling responded to this bias with a call for action. “Big Tech has been in the bag for the Democratic Party, which is a big deal because Big Tech combined is worth trillions and trillions of dollars and that’s just what they’re worth on paper. Their social and cultural impact is much bigger than that. But this is why we need to reform Big Tech,” he said.  “This is why we need to pass laws to rein them in so they can’t tip the scales or at least force them to start including these in-kind contributions on FEC reports,” Schilling added, responding to a Media Research Center study on Google search results.  MRC VP @Schneider_DC chats with @Schilling1776 about Google's blatant bias and censorship pic.twitter.com/jgj7F9zVzm — Free Speech America (@FreeSpeechAmer) July 17, 2024 Both Schilling and Posobiec agreed that conservatives should not be dissuaded from fighting censorship and Big Tech’s election interference out of misguided free market concerns. Posobiec agreed with Schneider that “common carrier” laws, which waive corporate liability for misuse of their service while prohibiting the carrier from restricting service to anyone, should apply to social media.  Posobiec told Schneider that America needed an “internet bill of rights.” The Human Events senior editor argued that the government exists to prevent interference with our rights as Americans.  Posobiec paraphrased author William F. Buckley to make the point that conservatives need to fight back against both public and private violations of rights: “If my rights are coming under threat from the federal government or General Motors, then it’s still my rights under threat and I will defend my rights, and I will protect my rights from wherever possible.”  MRC VP @Schneider_DC chats with @JackPosobiec about media bias pic.twitter.com/BqTbsESqb0 — Free Speech America (@FreeSpeechAmer) July 18, 2024 Schilling echoed Posobiec’s sentiments, pointing out the existence of several laws regulating private corporations. “We have laws to secure our rights,” he said.  Schilling suggested that Big Tech was not only using its dominant position to harm conservatives but also to prevent free and fair competition in the market. “It is time to reign in Big Tech and you’re not going to get that from Joe Biden because they’re on his team,” Schilling said. Conservatives are under attack! Contact your representatives and demand that Big Tech be held to account to mirror the First Amendment while providing transparency, clarity on hate speech and equal footing for conservatives. If you have been censored, contact us using CensorTrack’s contact form, and help us hold Big Tech accountable.
