A Teen Stabbed &; 28-Year-Old Beaten in Times Sq. Yesterday

There were two separate violent attacks hours apart in Times Square yesterday. One left a teenager with a knife sticking out of his back‚ and the other left a 28-year-old man beaten about the head and face. Both are in stable condition. About 18-23 people‚ illegal aliens‚ attacked the 17-year-old. The teen is an illegal […] The post A Teen Stabbed &; 28-Year-Old Beaten in Times Sq. Tyler Perry Pauses $800M Studio Expansion After OpenAI Sora Demo: ‘I Just Don’t See How We Survive’

Filmmaker Tyler Perry is pausing his studio expansion plans due to AI technology‚ which he fears is poised to radically alter the entertainment industry. The 54-year-old actor had been planning an $800 million expansion of his studio in Atlanta‚ including 12 new soundstages‚ per The Hollywood Reporter.  But now the project is on hold indefinitely after Perry was introduced to OpenAI’s text-to-video model Sora‚ the outlet noted. Sora debuted on February 15. “Being told that it can do all of these things is one thing‚ but actually seeing the capabilities‚ it was mind-blowing‚” the filmmaker told THR during an interview published Thursday. He went on to issue a dire warning for the entertainment industry. “There’s got to be some sort of regulations in order to protect us. If not‚ I just don’t see how we survive‚” Perry said. When the interviewer asked what specifically about the technology made him nervous‚ the “House of Payne” creator described some of Sora’s capabilities.  “I no longer would have to travel to locations‚” he said. “If I wanted to be in the snow in Colorado‚ it’s text. If I wanted to write a scene on the moon‚ it’s text‚ and this AI can generate it like nothing. If I wanted to have two people in the living room in the mountains‚ I don’t have to build a set in the mountains‚ I don’t have to put a set on my lot. I can sit in an office and do this with a computer‚ which is shocking to me.” Perry went on to lament what this could mean for standard industry positions‚ from actors to sound techs and editors. “I’m thinking this will touch every corner of our industry‚” he added. CLICK HERE TO GET THE DAILYWIRE+ APP “I think it’s going to be a major game-changer‚ because if you could spend a fraction of the cost to do a pilot that would’ve cost $15 [million]‚ $20 million or even $35 million if you’re looking at HBO‚ of course the bottom line of those companies would be to go the route of lesser costs‚” Perry said. “So I am very‚ very concerned that in the near future‚ a lot of jobs are going to be lost. I really‚ really feel that very strongly.” As for what to do about it‚ the filmmaker says he hopes the industry execs will have “some sort of compassion for humanity and the people that have worked in this industry and built careers and lives.” He also mentioned that the entire Hollywood community needs to enforce rules and regulations‚ not just individual unions. Beyond that‚ he’s hoping for government intervention. “If you look at it across the world‚ how it’s changing so quickly‚ I’m hoping that there’s a whole government approach to help everyone be able to sustain‚ is my hope‚” Perry said.

Cellphone Data Contradicts Nathan Wade’s Testimony On Relationship With Fani Willis: Report

Cellphone Data Contradicts Nathan Wade’s Testimony On Relationship With Fani Willis: Report

Cellphone data submitted in a Friday court filing by attorneys for former President Donald Trump showed that special prosecutor Nathan Wade appeared to make dozens of trips to District Attorney Fani Willis’ home before he was hired to lead the prosecution of the former president and numerous others in Fulton County‚ Georgia.  The newly revealed cell data shows Wade appeared to make 35 trips to Willis’ neighborhood in Hapeville‚ Georgia‚ before he was hired‚ contradicting his testimony last week when Wade said he had not visited Willis’ home any more than 10 times before 2021‚ the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported. Willis and Wade also testified last week that the two never spent the night together at her home in Hapeville‚ but the cellphone data indicates that Wade came to her condo late at night and left early the next morning on two separate occasions.  The data submitted by Trump’s attorneys poses another timeline problem for Willis to address‚ since both she and Wade testified under oath that their relationship didn’t begin until 2022 — after Wade had been hired by Willis. An affidavit from investigator Charles Mittelstadt was included in Friday’s court filing and says that Willis and Wade called each other more than 2‚000 times in the first 11 months of 2021. Willis and Wade also sent nearly 12‚000 text messages during that same time period‚ according to CellHawk‚ the tool Mittelstadt used.  “CellHawk is considered by law enforcement to be the gold standard in cellphone records analytics‚” Mittelstadt said‚ according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.  Lawyers for Trump raised concerns over the relationship between the Democratic DA and the special prosecutor she hired. Willis faces possible disqualification from her case against Trump over allegations that she has misused taxpayer dollars and showed favoritism to Wade‚ according to the judge overseeing the case. Willis’ and Wade’s testimonies on their relationship were also contradicted by statements from Robin Bryant-Yeartie‚ a former employee in the DA’s office‚ who testified by video conference last week that Willis and Wade had been in a romantic relationship beginning in 2019. Willis testified that Bryant-Yeartie “betrayed” their friendship‚ saying she has “not spoken to Robin in over a year.”  “I certainly do not consider her a friend now. I think that she — you know‚ there’s a saying no good deed goes unpunished and I think that she’d betrayed our friendship‚” she said. CLICK HERE TO GET THE DAILYWIRE+ APP Judge Scott McAfee was forced to step in and call for a five-minute recess last week after Willis began yelling at defense attorney Ashleigh Merchant over her line of questioning. After returning to the courtroom‚ McAfee told Willis that he would be forced to strike her testimony if she engaged in any more outbursts on the stand. 🚨BREAKING: Fani Willis EXPLODES on the witness stand as she’s asked when her romantic relationship with Nathan Wade ended. Delphi Prosecutor Says Deleted Interviews With Witnesses Were Not ‘Useful Evidence’ In Murders Of Teenage Girls

The man prosecuting Richard Allen‚ who is accused of killing two Delphi‚ Indiana‚ teenagers back in 2017‚ has said that the deleted interviews of two men after the killings are not “useful evidence” to the defense. Carroll County Prosecutor Nicholas McLeland on Thursday responded to defense accusations that Delphi police “recorded over” interviews with key witnesses that could have helped Allen’s case‚ Fox 59 reported. McLeland said the interviews were “not evidence at all related to this case.” He acknowledged that the interviews‚ which were conducted just days after the bodies of 13-year-old Abby Williams and 14-year-old Libby German were found‚ had been recorded over‚ but “were not destroyed by the state purposefully or in bad faith.” Even though the recordings don’t exist‚ there are memorialized summaries of the interviews‚ but defense attorneys Andrew Baldwin and Bradley Rozzi wanted the recordings so they could “listen to the exact spoken words” of the two men who were interviewed‚ “particularly the statements that the author of the document admits were not memorialized in the document‚” the attorneys wrote in a filing last week. McLeland‚ in his response‚ argued that the interviews “are not evidence related to this case.” “The evidence in question is not exculpatory evidence nor is it potentially useful evidence‚” McLeland wrote‚ according to Fox 59. The prosecutor added that the recorded interviews were just a way for the defense to further their “wild theory of this case that has no evidentiary support whatsoever.” Baldwin and Rozzi have claimed in a past filing that the teenage girls were killed by “[m]embers of a pagan Norse religion‚ called Odinism‚ hijacked by white nationalists.” The attorneys said in the filing that two groups of Odinists‚ one from Delphi and the other from Rushville‚ Indiana‚ were investigated for their possible involvement in the murders. As evidence the girls were murdered as part of a ritual sacrifice‚ the attorneys point to ritualistic symbols allegedly found at the crime scene‚ which include the strange way young Libby’s body was positioned. A March 2017 search warrant request from the FBI noted that the girls’ bodies looked as though they had been “moved and staged.” The filing also notes that investigators didn’t further investigate the alleged ritualistic symbols left at the crime scene‚ which included sticks and tree branches placed on the girls’ bodies that mimicked certain Norse runes. At least one branch appeared to have been cut with an electronic device‚ suggesting premeditation‚ the defense argues. Libby’s blood was also used to paint a rune on a tree that was identified as a calling card of the pagan religious cult‚ they added. Without the recordings‚ it may be more difficult for Allen’s attorneys to point out “inconsistencies or raise questions about other witnesses or other information relevant to an unbiased investigation.” In one example provided by the defense attorneys‚ one of the men interviewed in 2017 said he had “never met” Abby Williams‚ but six years later‚ he told investigators that he “barely even knew” her and had “met her once.” “It is therefore plausible that many more contradictions would be available to the defense but for the State’s intentional or negligent failure to preserve all of the evidence‚” the defense attorneys wrote. “Such negligent and intentional conduct on the part of the police has also resulted in the absence of material evidence which could be exculpatory in nature.” Last month‚ Allen was hit with additional charges of murder and kidnapping.
