Like most nursery rhymes‚ rumors have long swirled about its allegedly dark origin story—one that’s said to involve Henry VIII and bribery.

The UFO vocalist and co-founder Phil Mogg (76) said that the band is over and the final shows are the ones made in 2022. The group was planing a farewell tour in 2022 but after suffering a heart attack that year‚ Mogg had to change the plans and now in an interview with Ultimate Classic Rock he said that the group is really over. The American guitarist Steve Morse was the founder of the band Dixie Drags and from 1994 to 2022 was Deep Purple‘s guitarist. He left the British group in 2022 to take care of his wife who was battling cancer and sadly passed away in 2024.
