A Biden gaffe to make you laugh: 'A billion‚ three hundred million‚ trillion‚ three hundred million dollars'

This Christmas‚ President Joe Biden is giving the American people a gift unlike any other. No‚ it’s not the hard-earned tax dollars he stole but rather the gift of another gaffe. During a speech in Las Vegas this week‚ Biden was boasting about his infrastructure plans and attempting to take a jab at former President Donald Trump. “Over a billion‚ three hundred million‚ trillion‚ three hundred million dollars‚” Biden told the audience. Like most Americans‚ Pat Gray can’t help but be amused. “He has no idea‚” Gray laughs‚ before playing a clip of Karine-Jean Pierre saying‚ “The president is the best communicator that we have in the White House.” If that’s true‚ then everyone in the White House is clearly terrible at communicating. “He just gets better with age‚” Gray mocks‚ before noting that right after he showed his inability to understand numbers‚ he lied about how much money he’s made as president. “Nobody making less than 400‚000 bucks a year‚ which is way above what I ever made until I became president‚” Biden rambled. However‚ between 2016 and 2019 — before he was president — Biden made $13 million. “That’s a conservative estimate‚” Gray says.“Such a lying sack.” Want more from Pat Gray?To enjoy more of Pat's biting analysis and signature wit as he restores common sense to a senseless world‚ subscribe to BlazeTV — the largest multi-platform network of voices who love America‚ defend the Constitution‚ and live the American dream.

'It sows more division': Wisconsin Bar sued over Diversity Clerkship program for 'historically excluded' law students

The State Bar of Wisconsin has been sued for allegedly violating the Constitution with a diversity clerkship program that asks for candidates from diverse backgrounds. The Wisconsin Institute for Law and Liberty is suing the State Bar for what it claims is the act of offering "premier internship opportunities based primarily on race."Skylar Croy‚ an associate counsel for the institute‚ stated that "when the government discriminates based on race‚ it sows more division in our country and violates the Constitution in the process."He added that the organization is "standing up against discrimination and holding the State Bar accountable to the rights of its dues-paying members."The organization argued on behalf of a client named Daniel Suhr who is a state bar member‚ saying that he is being discriminated against as dues-paying member of the Bar."Using the funds of dues-paying members to provide invaluable internship experiences to only some law students based on race is a violation of the Constitution‚" the legal organization claimed. The Diversity Clerkship Program is available to first-year students from either Marquette University Law School or the University of Wisconsin Law School and requires students to be from "backgrounds that have been historically excluded from the legal field" but are also "in good standing."Somewhat religiously‚ successful applicants are also required to "demonstrate a commitment to diversity and a record of academic achievement."The application form for students is both incredibly vague in its concept of "diversity" and still requiring that it be included in every facet of the application. In their personal statement‚ students are advised to explain how they have "been affected by diversity‚" "contributed to diversity‚" and how they hope to "contribute to diversity in the future."Additionally‚ students are asked to described what is "unique‚ special‚ distinctive and/or impressive" about their life story and how their "commitment to diversity" influenced their decision to attend law school. The Wisconsin Institute for Law and Liberty also pointed to a list of Wisconsin's largest companies‚ law firms‚ and government agencies that participate in the program. They include the city of Madison‚ Wisconsin‚ the Wisconsin Department of Justice‚ and GE Healthcare‚ a company owned by General Electric that has an estimated revenue of over $18 billion per year.Like Blaze News? Injured Army veteran who enlisted after 9/11 receives new‚ mortgage-free home

An Army veteran and his family were gifted a mortgage-free home to live in but must complete a two-year program while living in the house in order to receive the deed.Operation Homefront‚ based in San Antonio‚ Texas‚ partnered with the U.S. Bank to give the gift of a home to veteran Oscar Perez III and his family."I still don’t understand why we were picked‚" Perez‚ still in shock‚ told KCTV5.Perez enlisted in the Army Reserve in 2003 following 9/11 and the U.S. invasion of Iraq and Afghanistan. Perez was deployed to Kuwait in 2004 but suffered a knee injury as a machine gunner. He was medically evacuated and underwent six surgeries and a year of physical therapy before he medically retired. After reportedly living at more than a dozen addresses since returning from active duty service‚ Perez and his family will now live in a mortgage-free home. The program through Operation Homefront will require the family to go through financial counseling and homeowner education during a two-year period. This is meant to give the family time to pay off debt and build savings. After the two-year period‚ the family is to receive the deed to the home. The family has aspirations of one day returning to Missouri near Perez's wife's family. Perez also has hopes of opening his own sports-training facility."I’ve always had friends that told me I need to do it and said they’ll invest but I just never felt like I had the opportunity to‚" he told the local outlet.Operation Homefront is a national nonprofit operating since 2012 and has described itself as organization that "provides relief and recurring family support programs and services throughout the year to help military families overcome short-term difficulties so they don’t become long-term hardships."Operation Homefront has reportedly put more than 680 families through its program and has provided over $103 million in home equity. At the same time‚ the organization has also committed to "promoting diversity‚ equity‚ and inclusion‚" calling it a "foundational component" of its mission.Operation Homefront has also reinforced "the importance of a diverse workforce." "We embrace differences in gender‚ race‚ ethnicity‚ age‚ sexual orientation‚ religion‚ and abilities‚" the company wrote.Like Blaze News? Pro-Palestinian leftists crash Democrat Christmas party‚ leave woman with 2 black eyes: 'Them Arabs ... tried to kill me!'

Some Democrats in Detroit were recently ambushed during an otherwise peaceful Christmas party‚ and the perpetrators of the violence were pro-Palestinian agitators who often align themselves with Democrat causes.Last Saturday evening‚ approximately 200 people gathered at the Common Pub in Detroit for a holiday party hosted by the 13th Congressional District Democratic Party. The congressional representative from the district‚ Shri Thanedar — a staunch Democrat who supports the Green New Deal and many restrictions on gun rights — was in attendance‚ as were other high-profile area Democrats‚ including Wayne County Commissioner Jonathan C. Kinloch and Bobbie Avington-Johnson‚ described by several outlets as an "activist" for the black "community."For a while‚ everyone seemed to be having a good time‚ eating and drinking while soulful Christmas carols played in the background. But their tranquil evening came to an abrupt end when dozens of members of the Palestinian Youth Movement and Party for Socialism and Liberation stormed the establishment‚ aggressively confronted the party-goers about their supposed support for Israel‚ and demanded a ceasefire in the bloody Israel-Hamas conflict currently waging in the Middle East."Shri‚ do you believe in a free Palestine?" one female protestor asked the congressman. She then yelled‚ "Hey‚ Shri‚ you can't hide. We charge you with genocide!" prompting her comrades to chant along as well. The mob didn't limit their disruptions to mere words though. They quickly began using physical force as well. Former Detroit Police Commissioner Bernice Smith‚ who is 91 years old‚ had to use her cane to ward off attackers.Avington-Johnson‚ however‚ was not so lucky. During a particularly violent scuffle‚ she sustained several injuries to her face‚ resulting in a bloody nose and two black eyes. She then decided to livestream a video message documenting the attack and calling on "black men" to defend their communities more forcefully against hostile "Arabs.""They're talking about ceasefire‚" she says to the camera while dabbing her mouth with a napkin or bathroom tissue. "It's time to come together. I need you‚ black men‚ you guys to stand the f*** up.""Them Arabs in motherf***in' Detroit tried to kill me!"Avington-Johnson had to be hospitalized for her injuries. She appears on camera at about the :45 mark in the video below: — (@) Rep. Thanedar also reported that protestors later gathered outside his house and woke up his neighbors by yelling and honking car horns in the early hours of the morning. A video shared on social media by a user who describes herself as a "Palestinian-American human/civil rights attorney‚ activist &; mom" supports that report: — (@) At a joint press conference on Monday‚ area Democrats spoke out against the "rioters" who practically ruined their Christmas party.Avington-Johnson‚ who was discharged from the hospital by that time‚ offered a more measured statement from the one she gave in the midst of the violence. "I live in a community that’s diverse‚" she said. "I do a lot of work in the Muslim community. ... Right now‚ a lot of us are going through a lot of things. Black people care about what’s happening over there. I have nothing against Muslims. I just don’t see why [they decided to protest] in Detroit."Commissioner Kinloch was less conciliatory to the protestors. "They didn't have a right to be there‚ first and foremost‚" he said. "... The owner asked them to leave; I asked them to leave. They refused to leave so they were removed from a place where they had no business and no legal right to be in.""This is not going to give you support for your cause‚" warned Rep. Thanedar‚ who once voted to label Israel an apartheid state while in the Michigan legislature but who has since adopted a strongly pro-Israel stance since being elected to Congress in 2022. Thanedar even invited protestors to join him in his office or at a town hall meeting for a peaceful‚ constructive "dialogue" about their differences. But Sammie Lewis‚ who participated in the violent protest‚ does not seem interested in such a dialogue. In Lewis' view‚ the Democrats at the party that night were exacting "violence" on righteous activists as part of a larger "Zionist" conspiracy. "We were met with violence for calling for an end to genocide‚" Lewis said‚ according to the Lansing City Pulse. "One part of our messaging is the Democrats are taking a page out of the Zionist book — they are essentially assaulting us and playing the victim.""Our perspective is the older black people who are more conservative Democrats in the 13th District‚ they don't represent Detroit‚" Lewis added. "They are bourgeoisie people who are complete traitors to the working class and the majority of black people who are struggling. They don’t represent the majority of black people in Detroit; they represent the system we’re fighting against."Like Blaze News? Former death row inmate fully exonerated after serving nearly 50 years for murder he didn't commit: 'Resilience and tenacity'

An Oklahoma man who served nearly half a century for a murder he didn't commit has finally had his name cleared.Glynn Simmons was just 22 years old on December 30‚ 1974‚ the night two robbers entered a liquor store in Edmond‚ Oklahoma‚ located just outside Oklahoma City‚ and shot and killed the clerk on duty‚ Carolyn Sue Rogers. An eyewitness — described by KFOR as "a traumatized teenager who had been shot in the back of the head" — picked out two suspects from police lineups: Simmons and Don Roberts.Simmons pled not guilty‚ insisting that he was in Louisiana on the day of the murder. But the eyewitness' testimony carried the day‚ and the jury voted to convict both defendants.Roberts and Simmons were then sentenced to death row. However‚ a SCOTUS ruling in 1977 changed their sentences to life in prison. They both spent decades behind bars. Roberts was released in 2008 after receiving parole‚ but Simmons continued to languish in prison for another 15 years‚ all the while maintaining his innocence.Simmons caught a break last year when his attorney‚ Joe Norwood‚ convinced a court to take another look at his client's case. In July‚ Oklahoma County District Judge Amy Palumbo ordered a new trial‚ and as a result‚ District Attorney Vicki Behenna had to admit that prosecutors in the original trial may have withheld evidence from the defense. Part of that evidence included police reports indicating that the eyewitness identified several other black men from the police lineups in addition to Roberts and Simmons.Simmons was then released‚ having served 48 years‚ one month‚ and 18 days in prison. Of all former inmates who were eventually exonerated of the crimes for which they were convicted‚ Simmons served the longest sentence in U.S. history by nearly a full year. Not content with just his freedom‚ Simmons then pressed for a declaration of innocence from the court. In September‚ DA Behenna announced that her office would not retry the case but stopped short of calling for a full exoneration.Simmons and his attorney persevered‚ however‚ and on Tuesday‚ Judge Palumbo made it official. "This court finds by clear and convincing evidence that the offense for which Mr. Simmons was convicted‚ sentenced and imprisoned … was not committed by Mr. Simmons‚" she said. In the eyes of the law‚ Simmons is an innocent man.Simmons walked outside the court with a smile on his face and his hands raised in victory. "It’s a lesson in resilience and tenacity‚" he said in a brief statement. "Don’t let nobody tell you that [exoneration] can’t happen because it really can." "He had 50 years stolen from him‚" Norwood‚ Simmons' attorney‚ added. "The prime earning years of his life‚ when he could have been getting experiences and developing skills. That was taken from him by no fault of his own."Norwood added that his team would now look to secure some compensation for Simmons at the state and federal levels‚ but such processes can take years and likely won't yield much money. Norwood estimated that the state will‚ at most‚ pay $175‚000."Getting him compensation‚ and getting compensation is not for sure‚ is in the future‚ and he has to sustain himself now‚" Norwood said.Simmons‚ now 71 and recently diagnosed with cancer‚ is living on a GoFundMe account established by friends.A spokesperson for DA Behenna declined NPR's request for comment.Like Blaze News? A disturbing update on Colony Ridge‚ Texas

Glenn Beck and the BlazeTV documentary team have made an incredible discovery in the story of Colony Ridge‚ Texas. Up until now‚ reporting has suggested that the massive immigrant settlement outside of Houston was cartel-infested‚ crime-ridden‚ and set up by developers who are immorally taking advantage of the immigrants. However‚ Glenn has done his due diligence‚ and he now believes the story is much‚ much more complicated than anyone originally thought. Glenn’s head writer and researcher‚ Jason Buttrill‚ is in agreement. Based on what he heard‚ Buttrill tells Glenn that he expected “basically almost what I saw in Iraq.” Now that he’s been there‚ he “can’t fathom how that’s the story that you get just by showing up‚ driving around‚ and saying‚ ‘Okay‚ this is what’s going on‚’ because the story is a lot more complicated than that.” One story in particular that wasn’t what it seemed was the death of two teenagers who appeared to have been shot execution-style in their car‚ which was parked by mailboxes in Colony Ridge. “Now‚ we’re hearing that perhaps that didn’t happen there‚ that this was crime that was a body dump‚” Glenn says. “There’s only one truth in the end‚” Glenn says‚ adding‚ “and I’m really glad to say this: we are doing everything we can to get to that truth. Not our truth‚ not the story we think people want to hear but the actual story.” While it’s possible that what’s happening in Colony Ridge may be immoral‚ Glenn and Jason aren’t sure it’s the crime-ridden place full of illegal activities that he’s been told. “There’s a lot more than meets the eye‚ and I mean‚ you’re really not going to get into it if you operate like the mainstream media does‚” Jason tells Glenn‚ adding‚ “They take a story‚ and they run a narrative‚ and that’s what gets pushed out to the entire country. And you never learn any further. You never go deeper. And that’s what I really love about what we’re doing now.” Want more from Glenn Beck?To enjoy more of Glenn’s masterful storytelling‚ thought-provoking analysis‚ and uncanny ability to make sense of the chaos‚ subscribe to BlazeTV — the largest multi-platform network of voices who love America‚ defend the Constitution‚ and live the American dream.
