Monday’s CBS Mornings aired a scathing report on Argentina’s new president-elect‚ Javier Milei‚ in which senior political correspondent Ed O’Keefe shamelessly smeared Milei from every angle imaginable. Co-anchor Tony Dokoupil led off the segment with a hearty dose of well-poisoning: Argentina is waking up to a new president‚ one who has the stamp of approval from Donald Trump. Coming from the far right Javier Milei won a convincing victory in yesterday's presidential election with a promise to sharply cut government spending and tackle the country's worst economic crisis in decades. Says he'll bring a chainsaw to the economy. In fact‚ he brought a chainsaw to many of his campaign rallies as a prop. Also‚ he cloned his dog‚ that’s what he’s known for. Ed O’Keefe has this strange story. The CBS segment alone was a doozy‚ but for a general sense of how the entire corporate media are coping with Milei (not very well at all)‚ watch this compilation:     In twenty short seconds‚ Doukopil tied Milei to Trump (akin to political cancer in journalist world)‚ smeared him as far-right (a synonym for “bad”)‚ and painted him as an unhinged‚ chainsaw-wielding mad scientist. That’s a lot of stealth editorializing for just the introduction to a news report‚ but O’Keefe’s portion was no less derisive. O’Keefe repeated the far-right smear‚ in case some viewers hadn’t caught on that CBS was instructing them to dislike Milei. He then portrayed the new president-elect as an inexperienced buffoon at the helm of a massive and precarious economy: “Milei‚ far right economist and television personality‚ joined the political fray just three years ago. Now‚ he’s in charge of the third largest economy in Latin America as it teeters on the edge of disaster.” This is the same angle we just saw in a Washington Post piece‚ which blamed the election of a “Trump-like radical” with “no governing experience” on an irrational “wave of voter rage.” Because‚ as all good journalists know‚ right-wing candidates only win by appealing to the irrational negative emotions of clueless voters. O’Keefe continued: “[Milei]  became known for his unorthodox showmanship  during the campaign‚ wielding at a chain saw to symbolize his war on government spending‚ threatening vital public services…” Vital according to whom‚ Ed? … and printing a picture of a U.S. Dollar bill with his face on it — part of a widely criticized campaign to use the U.S. Dollar as Argentina's currency. Widely criticized by whom‚ Ed? The self-described anarcho-capitalist has also advocated for eliminating the country's central bank. Milei's controversial tirades against the political class have drawn comparisons to former president Jair Bolsonaro‚ as well as former President Donald Trump. Controversial to whom‚ Ed? You get the idea. O’Keefe was employing a rather pernicious form of circular reporting‚ in which journalists all air the same series of grievances in unison‚ and then cite that unified whining as proof that the subject of their reporting has been “widely criticized.” The result is a false perception by viewers that “this is what everybody thinks‚” when in reality‚ “everybody” is merely a bunch of talking heads wringing their hands in front of teleprompters because somebody they personally dislike has attained political power in a country they’re not from. Isn’t it ironic that Transgender Day of Remembrance falls on President Joe Biden’s birthday? November 20th not only marks Biden’s birthday (81 this year) but also the Transgender Day of Remembrance‚ which aims to remember transgender people that died due to acts of “transgender violence.” In response to the news‚ there were mixed reviews.  Of course‚ there was a plethora of responses honoring the day in celebration of transgender delusions.  As a matter of fact‚ the topic became trending on Twitter/X and received tens of thousands of posts. Rep. Maxwell Alejandro Frost (D-Fla.) wrote‚ “On this Transgender Day of Remembrance‚ we honor the lives lost to anti-trans hate. In the face of oppressive bans on gender-affirming care and attacks on trans joy by Republican extremists—we stand strong for our trans siblings in FL.” “On Transgender Day of Remembrance‚ we remember all transgender people who have  been killed‚ simply for living as their authentic selves‚" Sen. Bob Casey (D-Penn.) wrote. "I will always stand with the transgender community and support policies to end discrimination against them.” The Arlington Public School District in northern Virginia even honored the day and posted a graphic about history and stats of violence against transgender people. Great to know that our public school systems in Virginia are focused on the right things.  Even Catholics for Choice‚ a group of pro-abortion “Catholics‚” expressed support for transgender people.  Biden himself even released a statement. The president grieved the 26 transgender American people who were tragically killed last year. In his statement‚ Biden proclaimed his administration’s commitment to transgender people and said‚ "As we mourn the loss of transgender Americans taken too soon this year‚ we must also recommit ourselves to never stop fighting until all Americans can live free from discrimination." While I absolutely do not condone violence against anyone innocent‚ if we have a day that remembers people solely because of who or what they identify as‚ then we should have a day that mourns those whose lives were lost as a result of someone living in a delusion like transgenderism. We should also have a day that mourns the loss of innocent babies in the womb and a day that mourns the loss of people based on their religious convictions‚ etc. But a day that mourns the loss of people who lived in a delusional sense of reality? I mean‚ come on.  But that’s the thing‚ innocent babies and religious freedom? That’s not important to the left - wokeness is.  “How can we have a 'Transgender Day of Remembrance' if they don’t let us forget about it for 5 minutes‚” one user wrote. I mean‚ after all‚ transgender people are professional victims. Another said‚ “Happy 'Transgender day of Remembrance' where we remember transgenderism is a mental disorder and people can't actually change their gender.” One more added‚ “I regret to inform you that today is the 'Transgender Day of Remembrance' so expect every woke corporation‚ political party‚ school and media outlet to put out some pithy statement." The user shared images of the six innocent people‚ three of whom were children‚  that were killed due to a transgender person's mental confusion in Nashville.  A few even posted images of the other transgender or non-binary people who ended up being fatal shooters. There’s no national remembrance day for the lives that were ended in those fatal shootings.  This made up holiday is just another lame excuse to prop up the woke mob. While any innocent life lost is a tragedy‚ instead of acknowledging that and continuing to encourage people to live a delusional sense of identity‚ let’s teach them about reality.  Honestly‚ while I of course feel bad for those who did lose their lives and wish that wasn't the case‚ this “holiday” is embarrassing.

While the Federal Communications Commission voted to adopt the Biden administration’s sweeping internet regulation wishlist‚ Commissioner Brendan Carr‚ a Republican appointee‚ dissented from the overwhelming overreach.  The FCC made a massive power grab on Nov. 16  when it voted to adopt rules that would effectively manage the minute details of how internet service providers operate. In exclusive comments with MRC Free Speech America Friday‚ Carr described his dissent and why he is so concerned by the FCC’s new rules for the internet. “It’s just all about control‚” he said. “The government is going to have the veto power for the first time ever over the very Internet infrastructure itself and I think that’s concerning.  We need to be in a world in which the internet infrastructure itself is effectively cancel-proof when it comes to the federal government.” Carr stressed that the level of control the federal government is exercising is “unprecedented.” He explained‚ “Before now‚ the government wasn’t in a position to dictate to your local [Internet service provider] where they should build internet infrastructure; on what terms they should build internet infrastructure; who they can serve; who they can’t serve. Those were all things that were‚ up to now‚ were essentially beyond the reach of the government itself.”  In his dissenting statement‚ Carr explained the Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DEI) flair to the recent FCC rule “digital equity” developments. “Even in the absence of any evidence of intentional discrimination‚ the Biden plan states the FCC can impose potentially unbounded liability if the agency finds that some act or even failure to act happened to result in a disparate impact based on the FCC’s own judgment‚” Carr wrote. He gave the examples of the FCC potentially prohibiting companies from “charging a uniform price to all consumers or running credit checks because those actions would necessarily have a disparate impact on low-income consumers.” Well‚ surprise‚ surprise. Democratic political strategist David Axelrod believes President Joe Biden's odds of winning re-election are 50/50 at best.Two weeks ago‚ Axelrod made headlines when he suggested that Biden should reconsider whether running for re-election is best for the country and for him‚ an aging grandfather now in his ninth decade of life. CBS News anchor Margaret Brennan ended an interview with Rep. Mike Turner (R-Ohio) on Sunday when he explained why President Joe Biden should face consequences for retaining classified documents.Several news outlets reported last week that special counsel Robert Hur‚ appointed to investigate Biden's retention of classified documents at his post-vice presidential office in Washington and his personal residence in Delaware‚ will conclude his investigation giving the president nothing more than a public scolding for violating laws prohibiting the improper retention of classified documents.On "Face the Nation‚" Brennan asked what signal not charging Biden sends to the "national security world." "Biden has been found to be a serial classified document hoarder. Over a 10-year period‚ he's been taking classified documents — some of the most sensitive that threaten our national security — home without any protection‚ and certainly able for others to be able to access them‚" Turner explained.If Biden is let off scot-free‚ Turner said it will be clear that leaders of only one party face consequences for improper retention and storage of classified information."There needs to be consequences‚" he said. The number of terrorists is going up‚” Netanyahu explains. “This is a battle of the forces of civilization against the forces of barbarism‚ and if barbarism wins in our part of the world‚ Europe will be next and America will be next‚” he warns. Netanyahu calls this barbaric force “the axis of terror‚” which includes Iran‚ Hamas‚ Hezbollah‚ and “other minions.” “Israel is fighting our war‚ but it’s also fighting America’s war. Over the last year‚ Denver‚ Colorado‚ spent nearly $4.5 million to transport over 12‚000 migrants to other states‚ CBS News reported.A spreadsheet obtained by the news outlet revealed that Denver purchased plane‚ bus‚ and train tickets to relocate migrants to nearly every major city in the nation. The majority of the migrants were sent to Chicago‚ New York‚ and Salt Lake City‚ the document showed. Roughly 1‚000 migrants were relocated to Texas and Florida. Others were sent to smaller towns‚ such as Wilson‚ North Carolina. Jon Ewing‚ a spokesperson for Denver Human Services‚ told CBS News‚ "We say‚ 'Where do you want to go?' and then we buy them a ticket‚ usually by bus‚ and get them on their way.""We feel that it's the right thing to do to get them to where they actually want to be‚" Ewing continued. "If you looked at it in crude financial terms‚ meaning‚ if they stayed here for a few weeks and didn't even want to be here‚ then we'd be paying to support and shelter them here and they didn't even want to be here."Ewing claimed that Denver relocating migrants to other cities differs from Texas busing migrants out of state‚ which received criticism from Democratic leaders. Texas Republican Governor Greg Abbott stated that 6‚600 asylum-seeking migrants have been bused to Colorado since May.Ewing said‚ "The difference is we're actually asking them where they want to go." However‚ the DHS spokesperson noted that Denver‚ like Texas‚ is also not informing other cities or states before dropping the migrants off at a new destination."There's just no way for us to coordinate on that scale. It's just unfeasible. And it's only for one or two tickets‚ often‚ per day‚" he claimed.Over the last five months‚ Denver has spent roughly $115‚000 on plane tickets. Since December‚ the city has spent $31 million addressing the migrant crisis‚ Ewing stated."We need support here. Bill Maher criticized the city of San Francisco and the government of California after the city's usually dirty streets were cleaned up ahead of a state visit by China's President Xi.Maher told his panel on "Real Time with Bill Maher" how San Francisco miraculously cleaned up as it welcomed the Chinese leader‚ President Biden‚ and other foreign dignitaries recently."President Xi of China came to our state this week and met with Biden up in San Francisco‚ and they had a little summit‚" Maher explained. Los Angeles police said they're on the hunt for 20-year-old Dashawn Dow‚ who has been arrested for robbery five times in the last 18 months — but managed to post bond after each arrest. Now cops said Dow is wanted in connection with two additional robberies that took place last month. What are the details? Police said detectives have identified Dow as a suspect in follow-home violent robberies in the Los Angeles area. In the first incident‚ surveillance video recorded a grey Maserati following a male and female into the parking structure of their North Hollywood apartment complex around 1:30 p.m. Oct. 2‚ police said. As the victims exited their vehicle‚ two armed suspects demanded the victims' property‚ police said. Fearing for their lives‚ the victims complied with the suspects’ demands‚ after which the suspects fled with the victims’ money and jewelry‚ police said. In the second incident‚ police said two black males confronted a male and female in the parking structure of their North Hollywood apartment complex around 12:10 a.m. Oct. 10. One of the suspects tried to forcibly remove the victim’s watch from his wrist‚ police said. When the victim resisted‚ the other suspect pressed a gun against the victim's chest. Fearing for his life‚ the victim gave up his property‚ and the suspects ran to a waiting getaway vehicle‚ police said. Detectives believe Dow was involved in both incidents and that he used a gun while doing so‚ police said‚ adding that he's presently at large and should be considered armed and dangerous.
