Archaeologists have found a giant stone ax 250‚000 years old

During excavations in Saudi Arabia at the Al-Qurh archaeological site‚ archaeologists discovered a giant stone hand axe or biface‚ named for elongated fragments hewn and sharpened on both sides‚ resembling blades. Our ancestors used such tools to hold a chopper in their hands‚ to butcher animal carcasses‚ remove skins‚ and possibly even cut down trees. The Middle Eastern artifact is 250‚000 years old. However‚ it wasn’t the age that surprised archaeologists but rather the size—more than half a meter (1.6 ft). Only a giant could have used such a chopper‚ meaning a person significantly larger in size than ordinary individuals. Archaeologists from Saudi Arabia aren’t making assumptions; they pledge to conduct further excavation‚ seeking other large tools to understand their intended purposes. It’s possible that further discoveries will shed light on who used these giant axes and the tasks they performed. Scientists from the Institute of Archaeology at the University of California‚ Los Angeles (UCLA Institute of Archaeology)‚ are also puzzled. Recently‚ they found two giant stone axes during excavations on a hillside in the Medway Valley‚ Kent‚ England. The ‘English axes’ date back 300‚000 years. “At present‚ we don’t understand the purpose behind these large tools‚” admitted Letty Ingrey‚ the archaeologist leading the excavations. She suggested that these huge axes might have symbolized something‚ such as strength or skill‚ rather than being used practically for their size. Enthusiasts‚ inspired by the enormous tools of ancient people‚ consider them evidence supporting the existence of giants. They hint that the Middle Eastern giants were larger than the European ones‚ estimating them at 4 meters (13 ft) and even stretching the estimates to about 6 meters‚ basing this estimation on the size of their axes. Rapper Cardi B Complains About NYC Budget Cuts: ‘The World is in F**king Shambles’

Rapper Cardi B. went live on Instagram over the weekend and talked about the new budget cuts proposed for New York City. Cardi complained about how these budget cuts are going to reap tons of problems and‚ as a result‚ she’s “not endorsing no f**king president no more.” She also bashed President Joe Biden for saying we’re the “greatest nation.” A recording of Cardi’s live stream was posted on Twitter: LANGUAGE WARNING! 🚨BREAKING: Cardi B has undergone a transformation since her 2020 endorsement of Joe Biden. Many celebrities who supported Biden in 2020 are now changing their stance‚ signaling a shift in the tides. Upon learning about the budget cuts in NYC that will impact various essential… pic.twitter.com/coHlFHuMIR — I Meme Therefore I Am 🇺🇸 (@ImMeme0) November 19‚ 2023 “I’m an angry a** b**ch right now‚” Cardi began‚ later adding‚ “I need y’all to spread this f**king video.” At that moment‚ there were almost 30‚000 people watching her live stream. “If something happens to me it's because I’m speaking truth. So God forbid something happens to me or my family or some s**t because n**ga’s is after me‚” she said before talking about the $120 million budget cut for schools‚ libraries and the police department as well as a $5 million budget cut for sanitation.   Seems like a great idea for the super clean‚ nice smelling city that New York City is. Just kidding. As Cardi said‚ the city is going to be “drowning in f**king rats.” Then she went on to blame our leadership for how “f**ked” our nation is: I don’t give a f**k. I’m not endorsing no f**king presidents no more cause how is it a 100‚000‚000 budget cut in New York City for f**king schools‚ library‚ police safety‚ and sanitation? Yet Joe Biden’s talking bout “yeah‚ we could fund two wars. We could fund two wars. Mother f**ka’s talking bout it but we got it‚ we’re the greatest nation.” NO THE F**K we’re not! We are going through some s**t right now! Later she added‚ “we are really really really really really really are f**ked right now.” Cardi felt “lucky and blessed” that she was able to grow up and live with the privileges that she does have. I mean her net worth is reportedly around $80 million‚ yet she voiced her concern for future generations.  “What’s gonna happen to my nieces‚ what’s gonna happen to my nephews‚ what’s gonna happen to my cousins‚ my aunts‚ my friends that’s living in the hood?” I mean probably nothing good‚ Cardi. It’s likely that these budget cuts on things that are vital to a society’s success are going to disproportionately affect areas like “the hood.” I mean think about it. If there's going to be less money allocated for schools‚ you know those on the Upper East side of Manhattan aren’t going to notice it‚ but those in the South Bronx are going to have worse schools. Not only that‚ but it's likely the crime will go up with less money thus less trained officers in the police force and sanitation?! Don’t even get me started! Central Park will be glowing while those who live in “the hood‚” like cardi mentioned‚ will be infested with litter and “drowning in f**king rats.” Cardi got pissed that the United States is funding foreign wars‚ I assume she means the war in Ukraine and the situation in Israel while at the same time our nation is turning into a crap house. “No we cannot fund these f**king wars‚” she said.  “They don’t wanna say the word but we’re going through a recession right now. We really‚ really‚ really f**king are‚” she said before adding that the budget cuts in New York are going to “go to y’alls states” a little bit at a time.  Honestly‚ Cardi B. is more based than we give her credit for. Previously Cardi B. said she was going to move to Nigeria because Donald Trump‚ when he was president‚ was "putting Americans' lives in danger." She's also indicated that the New York Police Department should "suck a fart and suffocate on it." Yet‚ in the last year or so‚ she has woken up a bit. In January she complained about "f**king seven dollar" lettuce. And back in September 2022‚ she complained about high inflation‚ interest rates and housing. If someone like her‚ who has tons of money‚ can wake up to how screwed up our spending is and how our nation headed to the pits of hell in more ways than one‚ then maybe there is hope for our society.

CBS Reporters Lose their Feeble Little Minds over Argentina’s ‘Far Right’ President-Elect

CBS Reporters Lose their Feeble Little Minds over Argentina’s ‘Far Right’ President-Elect

Monday’s CBS Mornings aired a scathing report on Argentina’s new president-elect‚ Javier Milei‚ in which senior political correspondent Ed O’Keefe shamelessly smeared Milei from every angle imaginable. Co-anchor Tony Dokoupil led off the segment with a hearty dose of well-poisoning: Argentina is waking up to a new president‚ one who has the stamp of approval from Donald Trump. Coming from the far right Javier Milei won a convincing victory in yesterday's presidential election with a promise to sharply cut government spending and tackle the country's worst economic crisis in decades. Says he'll bring a chainsaw to the economy. In fact‚ he brought a chainsaw to many of his campaign rallies as a prop. Also‚ he cloned his dog‚ that’s what he’s known for. Ed O’Keefe has this strange story. The CBS segment alone was a doozy‚ but for a general sense of how the entire corporate media are coping with Milei (not very well at all)‚ watch this compilation:     In twenty short seconds‚ Dukopil tied Milei to Trump (akin to political cancer in journalist world)‚ smeared him as far-right (a synonym for “bad”)‚ and painted him as an unhinged‚ chainsaw-wielding mad scientist. That’s a lot of stealth editorializing for just the introduction to a news report‚ but O’Keefe’s portion was no less derisive. O’Keefe repeated the far-right smear‚ in case some viewers hadn’t caught on that CBS was instructing them to dislike Milei. He then portrayed the new president-elect as an inexperienced buffoon at the helm of a massive and precarious economy: “Milei‚ far right economist and television personality‚ joined the political fray just three years ago. Now‚ he’s in charge of the third largest economy in Latin America as it teeters on the edge of disaster.” This is the same angle we just saw in a Washington Post piece‚ which blamed the election of a “Trump-like radical” with “no governing experience” on an irrational “wave of voter rage.” Because‚ as all good journalists know‚ right-wing candidates only win by appealing to the irrational negative emotions of clueless voters.  O’Keefe continued: “[Milei]  became known for his unorthodox showmanship  during the campaign‚ wielding at a chain saw to symbolize his war on government spending‚ threatening vital public services…” Vital according to whom‚ Ed? … and printing a picture of a U.S. Dollar bill with his face on it — part of a widely criticized campaign to use the U.S. Dollar as Argentina's currency. Widely criticized by whom‚ Ed? The self-described anarcho-capitalist has also advocated for eliminating the country's central bank. Milei's controversial tirades against the political class have drawn comparisons to former president Jair Bolsonaro‚ as well as former President Donald Trump. Controversial to whom‚ Ed? You get the idea. O’Keefe was employing a rather pernicious form of circular reporting‚ in which journalists all air the same series of grievances in unison‚ and then cite that unified whining as proof that the subject of their reporting has been “widely criticized.” The result is a false perception by viewers that “this is what everybody thinks‚” when in reality‚ “everybody” is merely a bunch of talking heads wringing their hands in front of teleprompters because somebody they personally dislike has attained political power in a country they’re not from. For a full transcript of the segment‚ click "expand" below: CBS Mornings November 20‚ 2023 8:14 — 8:16 a.m. ET TONY DUKOPIL: Argentina is waking up to a new president‚ one who has the stamp of approval from Donald Trump. Coming from the far right Javier Milei won a convincing victory in yesterday's presidential election with a promise to sharply cut government spending and tackle the country's worst economic crisis in decades. Says he'll bring a chainsaw to the economy. In fact‚ he brawn a chainsaw to many of his campaign rallies as a prop. Milei rode to power on a wave of popular discontent over a stagnating economy with 40% poverty rate‚ and inflation nearing 140%. This woman said she supports Milei because she's looking for change in Argentina‚ a country she says has been suffering from years of decadence. He became known for his unorthodox showmanship  during the campaign‚ wielding at a chain saw to symbolize his war on government spending‚ threatening vital public services‚ and printing a picture of a U.S. Dollar bill with his face on it. Part of a widely criticized campaign to use the U.S. Dollar as Argentina's currency. ACLU sues Gov. DeSantis over order disbanding chapter of pro-Hamas student group

ACLU sues Gov. DeSantis over order disbanding chapter of pro-Hamas student group

Gov. Ron DeSantis' administration threatened last month to deactivate chapters of a student group that both celebrated Hamas' slaughter of thousands of civilians and claimed common cause with the terrorists. Although that deactivation has yet to happen and now appears unlikely‚ leftists nevertheless appear keen to chasten the state of Florida for even raising the possibility. The ACLU and Palestine Legal filed a lawsuit Thursday claiming that Florida education officials and DeSantis violated students' First Amendment rights by ordering the deactivation of the University of Florida Students for Justice in Palestine. The group Students for Justice in Palestine is a network of radical anti-Israel student groups across the United States which reportedly began at the University of California‚ Berkeley‚ in the early 1990s. The national outfit‚ the stated aim of which is to ensure the hundreds of chapters are "connected‚ disciplined‚ and equipped with the tools necessary to achieve Palestinian liberation‚" disseminated a "Day of Resistance" tool kit days after the Oct. 7 Hamas terror attacks‚ referring to the slaughter of thousands of Israeli civilians and dozens of Americans as a collective act of "resistance." The New York Times noted that the tool kit‚ distributed by the group's national steering committee‚ instructed its various chapters to "ground our campuses &; communities in a narrative which centers the legitimacy of resistance &; the necessity of complete liberation." "Challenging Zionist hegemony and popularizing our resistance is a critical part of advancing our national movement!" underscored the document. The order Late last month‚ the DeSantis administration took action against the group‚ noting its common cause with a group officially recognized by the U.S. government as a terrorist organization. At the governor's urging‚ Ray Rodrigues‚ chancellor of the State University System of Florida‚ highlighted in a Oct. 24 letter to university presidents that the National SJP's toolkit "unequivocally states: 'Palestinian students in exile are PART of this movement‚ not in solidarity with this movement.'" "It is a felony under Florida law to 'knowingly provide material support ... to a designated foreign terrorist organization‚" wrote Rodrigues. "National SJP has affirmatively identified it is part of the Operation Al-Aqsa Flood—a terrorist led attack." The state law Rodrigues referenced clarifies that material support or resources "means any property‚ tangible or intangible‚ or service‚ including currency or monetary instruments or financial securities‚ financial services‚ lodging‚ training‚ expert advice or assistance‚ safe houses‚ false documentation or identification‚ communications equipment‚ facilities‚ weapons‚ lethal substances‚ explosives‚ personnel‚ or transportation." The chancellor indicated at least two state university system institutions had chapters that "exist under the headship of the National Students for Justice in Palestine": the University of Florida and the University of South Florida. On account of the head organization's support for and glorification of terrorism‚ Rodrigues — in consultation with the governor — called for the student chapters to be deactivated‚ noting that "[t]hese two student chapters may form another organization that complies with Florida state statutes and university policies." In the Republican presidential primary debate on Nov. 8‚ DeSantis said‚ "[The SJP] said they are common cause with Hamas. They said‚ 'We're not just in solidarity. This is what we are.' We deactivated them. We're not gonna use tax dollars to fund jihad." Despite the governor's indication‚ it appears the order may have been toothless — unlike the group's suspension by Brandeis and Columbia universities. During a state university system board meeting on Nov. 9‚ Rodrigues said‚ "The constitutions of both organizations‚ which were submitted by them at the beginning of the school year when they were registered as an active student-registered organization‚ clearly state their organization is not subservient or under the national Students for Justice in Palestine‚" reported CNN. "Therefore‚ the universities have not deactivated their university chapters of SJP‚" added the chancellor. While the groups weren't deactivated‚ Rodrigues claimed the state would press both chapters to issue statements "that they reject violence‚ that they reject that they are part of the Hamas movement‚ and that they will follow the law." The lawsuit Although the order has not yet been executed on Florida campuses‚ the University of Florida chapter of SJP‚ represented by the ACLU and Palestine Legal‚ filed a lawsuit in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Florida on Nov. 16 challenging the potential group deactivation. The complaint claims that the Florida Students for Justice in Palestine chapters have "no formal relationship" with the national organization other than the name they share in common. Furthermore‚ it stresses no evidence has been provided demonstrating the supposedly independent Florida chapters have signaled material support for Hamas. "The Deactivation Order is unconstitutional for two reasons. It violates UF SJP's First Amendment freedoms by punishing it for its protected speech and association‚ including its association with NSJP. And it runs afoul of the First Amendment's protection against viewpoint-based restrictions on speech and association‚" said the complaint. "As students on a public college campus‚ we have every right to engage in human rights advocacy and promote public awareness and activism for a just and reasonable solution to the Palestine-Israel conflict‚" said the UF SJP in a statement. "Throughout history‚ students have been central actors in ending segregation‚ war‚ and apartheid — and Students for Justice in Palestine sits squarely in that tradition‚" said Dima Khalidi‚ director of Palestine Legal. "It is precisely because these principled students pose a challenge to the status quo that they are being targeted with McCarthyist censorship‚ but the First Amendment simply does not allow for it." DeSantis spokesman Jeremy Redfern responded‚ "Groups that claim to be part of a foreign terrorist movement have no place on our university campuses‚" reported the Times. Like Blaze News? Army sends letter to soldiers booted from service for refusing COVID vaccine‚ asks if they'd like to return

The United States Army informed former service members who were released over a COVID-19 vaccine refusal that they have the opportunity to correct their military records and possibly rejoin the forces if they wish.Former members were informed via a letter from brigadier general and Director of Military Personnel Management Hope C. Rampy‚ which stated that the soldiers could have their records changed at their request."Dear Former Service Member‚" the letter began. "We write to notify you of new Army guidance regarding the correction of military records for former members of the Army following rescission of the COVID-19 vaccination requirement‚" it continued."As a result of the rescission of all current COVID-19 vaccination requirements‚ former Soldiers who were involuntarily separated for refusal to receive the COVID-19 vaccination may request a correction of their military records from either or both the Army Discharge Review Board (ADRB) or the Army Board for Correction of Military Records (ABCMR).""Individuals may request a correction to military personnel records‚ including records regarding the characterization of discharge‚" the letter added before noting that former personnel could reapply through their local recruiters."Individuals who desire to apply to return to service should contact their local Army‚ U.S. Army Reserve (USAR)‚ or Army National Guard (ARNG) recruiter for more information." Army invites back all the soldiers it kicked out for refusing the COVID-19 vaccine — (@) The letter was reportedly confirmed as authentic by the Army to outlet Task &; Purpose‚ which also stated that a spokesperson said it was not immediately clear whether any rejoining soldiers would be able to return to their former unit.In early October 2023‚ CNN reported that just 43 out of more than 8‚000 service members who were booted for vaccine refusal had rejoined. After reportedly missing its recent recruitment goal by nearly 15‚000‚ the land forces made up the difference using recruits from its Delayed Entry Program. The Army also reportedly planned to change the way it prospects for recruits by expanding beyond high school graduates. By 2028‚ it aims to have a third of its new soldiers have more than a high school degree. This came at the same time that Defense Department data showed 68% of active-duty military members are overweight or obese. The obesity category has more than doubled in the previous decade as well. In 2012‚ the rate was 10.4%‚ but it jumped to 21.6% for 2022.As well‚ the Army has changed its advertising strategy to focus on recruitment and lean away from woke and progressive talking points.Since summer 2023‚ new promotions have chronicled the first steps in the recruitment process and have been void of gender and race-related messaging.Like Blaze News? Did Blaze Media just catch a J6 ‘hero’ cop in a web of lies?

Capitol Police officer Harry Dunn was heralded as a hero for his bravery and courage on January 6th. Biden even awarded him the Presidential Citizens Medal‚ and several media outlets invited him on their shows to share his harrowing account of that fateful day. But as more evidence is unearthed‚ it’s looking more and more like Dunn’s testimony‚ which he gave under oath‚ as well as the recount he gives in his new memoir‚ are “obviously disprovable" lies‚ says Glenn Beck. For example‚ “Dunn alleged that he was called the N-word numerous times during the riot at the Capitol on January 6th‚ [and] almost the entirety of the media repeated his claim without any question‚” Beck explains. However‚ Blaze Media has acquired access to the J6 footage‚ although the tapes have not been approved for release‚ and can confirm that there is no evidence that racial slurs were hurled at Dunn on January 6th. “This is the most video-recorded event in history‚ [and] not a single piece of evidence‚ video or audio‚ has even emerged to confirm that such a racially charged incident ever took place‚” explains Glenn. “In the two and a half years since the events‚ with tens of thousands of hours of audio taken and analyzed from open-source cell phone video and D.C. Metro Police body-worn cameras‚ nobody has produced recorded evidence to corroborate Dunn’s story‚” he continues. Further‚ “the Capitol rotunda closed-circuit TV video” has also been analyzed‚ and it “does not include any audio” and the “video also appears to lack any visual evidence confirming the event as Dunn described it.” What the videos do include‚ however‚ is footage of Dunn “talking to numerous fellow officers ... sometimes smiling and sharing a cell phone video‚” contrary to his claims that he sat down and cried due to the racial abuse he suffered. One particular individual‚ a woman in a pink MAGA shirt who‚ according to Dunn’s story‚ called him a “f***ing N-word‚” cannot be found in any of the J6 footage either. “Analysts for Blaze Media have spent hours poring over the video recordings‚ looking for any individual‚ male or female‚ wearing a pink MAGA shirt inside the Capitol building‚ [and] we can report conclusively‚ based on the many camera sources available‚ that a woman in a pink MAGA T-shirt is never seen near or in Dunn’s vicinity‚” confirms Glenn. “Blaze Media did not find a single shirt fitting that description worn by anyone inside the building.” And if that wasn’t convincing enough‚ the Sedition Hunters‚ which is a “a group of left-leaning activist researchers” who “assist the U.S.‚ FBI‚ and Washington‚ D.C.‚ Capitol Police to find those who committed crimes on January 6 ... has also failed to produce evidence of the N-word being used against Dunn or any other black police officers that day.” The question now is: will Dunn be forced to contend with the fact that there is no evidence to authenticate his testimony — the same testimony that landed many people behind bars? North Carolina police department using drones to crack down on homeless drug use and trespassing after mass resignations

A police department in Asheville‚ North Carolina‚ has ramped up its use of police drones to fill in staffing gaps and monitor crimes committed by homeless people. The crimes‚ particularly drug use and trespassing‚ have reportedly caused outcry in the local community‚ with complaints from business owners.Local residents have reportedly asked the city of approximately 100‚000 to address downtown crime and homelessness‚ according to WLOS ABC 13.Asheville Police Chief David Zack told city council members that business owners want homeless people who are panhandling‚ using drugs‚ and camping to be held accountable and cited for their crimes. With tourism down an estimated 11% in 2023‚ police are now using drones to crack down on the aforementioned crimes. There are 15 police employees who have gained certification to fly drones while on duty‚ with the department owning six of the aerial vehicles. Employees take a 40-hour class at a nearby community college for just over $200. An additional eight hours of training is done‚ according to WUNC radio."We had one of the highest percentages of loss in the country when it came to police officer resignations‚" said Brandon Moore‚ captain of the Asheville police special services division. The department built a drone unit as a "force multiplier" due to losing more than one-third of a reported 238 officers."We needed something that could help tip the scale and quickly. Our hiring process is not quick. Replenishing officers is a slow‚ methodical thing‚" Moore added. In 2020‚ chief Zack attributed the police resignations to a lack of support and what he described as a "very vocal" opposition to law enforcement. The reaction was said to be in response to a black man dying while in police custody in Minnesota‚ which at the time caused a 13% drop in police numbers in Asheville.A spokesperson from Asheville Police reportedly said that the department has received positive feedback from local businesses after implementing its drone program.A homeless woman named Monica questioned why the punishment for panhandling would be a fine when "it's begging for money to start with."Eric Tars‚ legal director for the National Homelessness Law Center‚ said that ticketing homeless people is "prolonging the problem of encampments." Instead‚ Tars claimed‚ it should be looked at as a federal problem. "Homelessness started when the federal HUD budget was cut in half‚" the legal activist said."City leaders are getting the blame for what’s really a federal problem." He added that local jurisdictions are "getting blamed for the lack of federal leadership."According to Asheville PD's data‚ 64% of emergency calls for police in the city happened within the same three miles of a particular municipal building. At the same time‚ 44% happened within two miles.Like Blaze News? Bypass the censors‚ sign up for our newsletters‚ and get stories like this direct to your inbox. Sign up here!
