Austin HealthMate Air Purifier Review 2023: Pros‚ Cons‚ &; Our Verdict

Click to Skip Ahead About Austin Air Systems Overview Key Features Is It A Good Value? FAQ  Our Experience Our Final Verdict We give the Austin HealthMate Air Purifier a rating of 4.9 out of 5 stars. Quality: 4.9/5 Aesthetic: 4.9/5 Material: 4.9/5 Value: 4.9/5 Check Price on Austin Air Looking for a way to keep your home’s air free of the bacteria and dust that your dogs or even just your windows let in? A household air purifier may be in your future. My boyfriend and I have noticed that our allergies in the last couple of years have gotten a bit worse and that they even pop up in the Fall and Winter. We live in Scottsdale‚ Arizona where there is no shortage of polluted air‚ dust‚ and dirt. We also have two large dogs‚ one of which is a Border Collie mix. She has beautiful‚ long‚ brown fur that gets everywhere! Both dogs also have unlimited access to our backyard‚ which consists of mostly dirt throughout the year. They bring in a lot of our dusty backyard into the house as they come and go. We decided to give Austin Air System’s HealthMate a try. Austin Air Systems has been around for 30+ years‚ are sold in 100+ countries. Their products were the chosen air purifiers by schools and hospitals during the COVID-19 pandemic. Additionally‚ The Medical-Grade HEPA used in all Austin Air filters has been thoroughly tested‚ proven‚ and certified to remove 99.97% of particles in the air. The Austin Air Systems brand was even chosen by FEMA and the American Red Cross during the 9-11 tragedy and the 2015 Southern California gas leak. For me‚ the most important thing is that their air purifiers are built with non-toxic materials‚ including solid steel and nontoxic powder-coated paint. These air purifiers don’t produce off-gassing‚ which‚ if you’re unfamiliar with the term‚ means that these products don’t release harmful chemicals (Volatile Organic Compounds or VOCs) into the air that a lot of new products do when you first open them up. About Austin Air Systems Austin Air Systems was created by Richard Taylor thirty years ago‚ with a mission to support his wife‚ Joyce‚ who suffered from respiratory problems. After years of diet changes and medications and seeing that Joyce was only truly comfortable in her hospital room‚ Richard decided the contaminated air was the source of her illness. Richard engineered a filter that combined True Medical HEPA and Activated Carbon to target particulate contamination and chemical toxicity in the air and it worked! Joyce was sleeping soundly by the end of the week. The filter is able to remove airborne contaminants as small as 0.1 microns‚ as well as everyday pollutants such as dust‚ dander‚ and allergens. Since then‚ Austin Air System has grown to be the largest air cleaner manufacturing facility in the world. Their air purifiers have been chosen by organizations such as FEMA and The American Red Cross‚ as well as for personal use by doctors and professional athletes. Austin Air Systems has worked with Johns Hopkins University‚ the American Academy of Pediatrics‚ Cincinnati Children’s Hospital‚ and more to clinically prove the efficacy of their air purifiers. From these partnerships‚ Austin Air Systems has become the only “the only clinically-proved‚ medical-grade air purifier” on the market. Who Should Be Thinking About Austin Air Systems? I would recommend an Austin Air Purifier for anyone who has a dog or cat at home. Pets bring in lots of airborne pollutants and they can not only stink‚ but be harmful to all of the humans and animals in the house. My HealthMate removes 99.97% of the allergens and odors my dogs bring in and honestly‚ I can tell the difference. I would also say that non-pet owners can benefit from having an air purifier in your home as well. There are so many harmful chemicals and contaminants floating around us inside and outside the home‚ whether it is from burning an aromatic candle in the house or from living in a densely-populated area with lots of cars and general pollution. They do affect our health‚ even if we don’t always realize it. If you have asthma‚ allergies‚ or COPD‚ I recommend having one of the air purifiers in your home. Even if you just snore‚ have a hard time sleeping‚ have recurring headaches‚ or even just don’t love the smell of your home – an air purifier may just be the remedy you need! HealthMate Air Purifier Overview Check Price on Austin Air I have had my Austin HealthMate Air Purifier for a little over a week and I can already feel a difference in the air quality of my home – especially the main rooms like the living room‚ dining room‚ and kitchen. I placed it near my nightstand and followed the given instructions for an easy setup and these are the highlights of my experience so far: 5-Year Filter and Mechanical Warranty Um wait‚ I don’t have to buy an expensive air filter and replace it every few months?? This is just crazy to me. The original Austin Air filter that the HealthMate came with is designed to last up to 5 years with “normal residential use”. They also offer a pro-rated filter replacement price that is dependent on the number of years it’s been used. So if you want to replace the filter after 2 years (say you keep it on level III or “high” every day) then you can buy a new one at 40% off the retail price. It also comes with a 5-year mechanical warranty that protects you from any defects in the non-toxic materials that make up the air purifier. So if you have an issue in those first 5 years‚ they’ve got you covered. Just make sure you register your air purifier on their website or with the form that comes with packaging in the mail as soon as your machine is delivered. All About The Look The first thing I said when I saw the HealthMate Air Purifier is “It is so CUTE!”. It reminds me of a little “R2D2” character from “Star Wars”. I opted for the black color because it just seemed like it would blend in a bit more with my home. They also have “Midnight Blue”‚ “Sandstone”‚ and white for the HealthMate model. The black‚ steel design is simple and the fan is meant to be projected out towards the open space and not towards the wall so you can’t even really see the controls on the technical “front” of the machine. The controls are simple with 3 options and easy to figure out with or without a manual. Lastly‚ it has wheels‚ making it easy to shift the machine as you see fit. Air Quality – Does It Work? I have had the machine for a little over a week and yes‚ I can tell the difference. The overall smell of our home is better‚ not that it was bad before‚ but it just smells cleaner than it used to. According to their website‚ the health benefits are reduced snoring‚ better sleep‚ less runny noses‚ less dry mouth‚ and lessened allergies. I have definitely noticed that my boyfriend who snores with sounds that mimic a helicopter landing is waking me up less and less with his “charter flight” snores. I have also noticed‚ I generally just sleep harder‚ wake up easier‚ and toss and turn a bit less. We also noticed it over our morning coffee a couple of days ago‚ the air in our living room felt different – and we each took a big breath. Easy Set Up and Maintenance The Austin HealthMate is super easy to set up. All you have to do is find a space in your house you want it to live in and plug it in. Then put it on level III (“High”) for 1 hour and then set it to the desired speed. I leave it on level I (low) to keep it quiet. Then you leave it on 24 hours a day‚ 7 days a week‚ 365 days a year. You do have to change the filter‚ but the original filter is designed to last 5 years with normal use! In Summary Pros Cute and compact 4 colors to choose from 5-year air filter and mechanical warranty Can run 24/7/365 Easy setup and maintenance Non-toxic materials Better air quality Lots of health benefits Cons A tad expensive Key Features Check Price on Austin Air Here are some of my favorite features of the Austin HealthMate Air Purifier: Non-Toxic Materials What your household items are made of matters – at least it does to me. So I appreciate the design of the HealthMate model and that there is no plastic in sight. I appreciate the perforated steel outer shell and the Medical Grade HEPA technology used alongside the carbon blend in the filters which have already been proven to remove up to 99% of all airborne contaminants as small as 0.1 microns. 5-Year Filter and Mechanical Warranty The original Austin Air filter that the HealthMate came with is designed to last up to 5 years with “normal residential use”. So you don’t have to change it for 5 years‚ that’s actually insane. Your machine also comes with a 5-year mechanical warranty that protects you from any defects in the non-toxic materials that make up the air purifier. Make sure to register your machine on their website as soon as it arrives to initiate this warranty! The Design The black‚ steel design is simple. The HealthMate is also both small and compact‚ making it easy to fit in any space in your home. The controls are simple with 3 options and easy to figure out with or without a manual. It is also equipped with wheels that make it easy to shift the machine as you see fit. Ease of Use I can leave my HealthMate Air Purifier on all day every day to do its thing and make space healthier and cleaner without ever having to worry about it. I don’t even have to change the air filter for five years. The simple design makes it easy to clean the top of it with a dusting rag or clean the entire exterior with a vacuum brush attachment. This is a very low-maintenance machine to have in the home. Is the Austin HealthMate Air Purifier a Good Value? This air purifier is expensive‚ but I understand why. This little machine is offering my partner‚ my dogs‚ and me cleaner air to breathe in the comfort of our home. It is helping my boyfriend and I sleep better‚ it is supporting a stronger immune system for all of us‚ and making our home smell and feel better in general. Not to mention‚ it basically does all the work itself with very little maintenance or assistance from us – despite it working all day‚ every day. Check Price on Austin Air FAQ  Did you notice a difference in your home’s air quality? Yes‚ I did notice a difference in just a week of using the product. The air felt cleaner and it smelled better in our house. Is there a warranty that comes with this model? Yes‚ the air filter comes with a 5-year warranty and the machine itself comes with a 5-year mechanical warranty. Can you sign up for a trial period? No‚ but there is a “30-Day‚ Money-Back Guarantee”. If you are not satisfied with your Austin Air Purifier then you can return it within the first 30 days after it is delivered‚ “no questions asked”. Is it loud? It does make a noticeable sound when it is on level III or “high”. For this reason‚ I turned it down to level I or “low” and kept it there after the first hour of use with it on “high” as was recommended in the manual. With it on “low”‚ I can only hear it if I get up right next to it. My dogs don’t notice it either. Our Experience With Austin Air Systems HealthMate Air Purifier When the Austin HealthMate Air Purifier came in‚ I wasn’t entirely sure I would notice a difference in air quality. But with our allergies only increasing in frequency and intensity and living with too big dogs‚ who both shed at different levels‚ I knew an air purifier could potentially improve the overall quality of life for our little household. Austin Air Systems simply offered a higher level of quality over the other options with the non-toxic materials‚ 5-year air filter warranty‚ and the medical-grade HEPA technology to remove 99% of all airborne contaminants. All of their clinical studies and partnerships with organizations like FEMA‚ John Hopkins University‚ and the American Academy of Pediatrics‚ and others made them seem like the clear choice. I like the simplistic design too. It really does look like a little robot‚ just sitting there quietly making our air more breathable. My two dogs‚ Halle and Indy‚ gave it quite a few questioning sniffs when it first came out of the box. I was grateful that the machine didn’t produce off-gassing‚ because those VOCs would have gone right up my pups’ noses. Halle even put her nose on it and I was again grateful the machine is made of steel and not plastic. We felt the best home for the HealthMate was in the corner of our living room but the manual recommends you put the air purifier in your bedroom. Maybe one day I’ll move it there. They make it easy to move by putting wheels on the machine. I opted for the living room because I would say my boyfriend and I and the dogs spend most of our time out there. That’s where our guests usually congregate as well‚ so it seemed like the best option. After plugging it in‚ we followed the instructions and blasted it on level III or “high” for one hour. It was decently loud and I probably would not have it on this setting on a daily or even weekly basis. After the hour‚ I dropped it to level I or “low” and you could barely hear it purr unless I basically laid my ear on the machine. Halle and Indy also sleep right in front of it on the rug or on their beds and don’t pay it any attention. Indy hates anything that makes unfamiliar noises and will avoid whatever it is‚ but she doesn’t seem to care about the air purifier. We have kept it on since at that low setting and started feeling the difference a couple of days after we plugged it in. I noticed this last week‚ I’ve been sleeping deeper and waking up easier. My boyfriend’s snoring has quieted and he also commented that he woke up less frequently in the middle of the night. We also noticed the smell of the house has shifted. It just smells cleaner. We keep our dogs pretty well groomed and bathed‚ but it feels like there is less dust and just general human and dog odor in our house. Check Price on Austin Air Conclusion I would recommend Austin Air Systems to anyone who is looking to improve their quality of life. While these air purifiers are on the pricier side‚ the quality of the non-toxic materials and the medical-grade technology used to create this machine make it a worthwhile purchase. The fact that the machine is designed to be low maintenance and has the ability to run for 24 hours a day‚ 7 days a week‚ and 365 days a year is amazing. An Austin Air Purifier is an investment in your health and that of your loved ones‚ making it well worth it. 'Medical rape': Prominent fertility doctor secretly impregnated patient with his own sperm‚ lawsuit states

A prominent fertility doctor is facing a federal lawsuit from a former patient who claims he secretly impregnated her with his own sperm during an artificial insemination procedure decades ago.Dr. Merle Berger is one of the founders of Boston IVF Fertility Clinic and a former professor at Harvard Medical School. He is accused of impregnating a patient more than 40 years ago. Sarah Depoian‚ a 73-year-old from Maine‚ first visited Berger in 1979 for fertility services because her husband could not impregnate her. Depoian decided to undergo intrauterine insemination‚ a procedure in which sperm is inserted directly into the uterus.Depoian and her husband paid a "significant amount of money" for the fertility treatment‚ according to the lawsuit filed on Wednesday in Massachusetts District Court.Berger allegedly told Depoian that he would insert "the sperm of a medical resident who had similar physical traits as my husband" and the donor would be unknown to the couple. Depoian had a baby girl in 1981. Late last year‚ Depoian's now-adult daughter purchased a home ancestry kit. The lawsuit claimed that the daughter — 42-year-old Carolyn Bester — learned that she was related to Berger's granddaughter and his second cousin based on information from Ancestry.com and 23andMe DNA kits. "I knew plenty of people who tried DNA tests‚ and I actually thought I was going to have a lot of fun doing the research‚" Bester told reporters on Wednesday. She allegedly spoke to some of her new-found relatives and came to the conclusion that Berger is her biological father."Somebody who was related to him reached out to me and asked me how we were related‚ and I said‚ 'Interesting‚ I don't know‚'" said Bester‚ a New Jersey-based lawyer. "To say I was shocked when I figured this out would be an extreme understatement‚" Bester stated. "It feels like reality has shifted.""It was really‚ really shocking and horrible to find that out‚ that that's your life's story and that's the story of how you were created is not great‚ to say the least‚" she said.Depoian's attorney‚ Adam Wolf‚ told reporters‚ "Dr. Berger masturbated in his own medical office‚ walked over to his patient while he was carrying his own sperm‚ and then deliberately inserted that sperm into his patient's body‚ all the while knowing that she did not consent.""Some people call this horrific act medical rape‚" Wolf said. "But regardless of what you call it‚ Dr. Berger's heinous and intentional misconduct is unethical‚ unacceptable‚ and unlawful."Depoian said‚ "It's hard to imagine not trusting your own doctor. We never dreamt he would abuse his position of trust and perpetrate this extreme violation."The lawsuit accuses Berger of committing fraudulent concealment‚ intentional misrepresentation‚ and violating Massachusetts' consumer protection law.Depoian is seeking “damages in an amount sufficient to compensate her for her injuries.”Berger has denied the accusations. Berger’s lawyer‚ Ian Pinta‚ issued a statement on the doctor's behalf: “The allegations‚ which have changed repeatedly in the six months since the plaintiff’s attorney first contacted Dr. Berger‚ have no legal or factual merit‚ and will be disproven in court.”Boston IVF said in a statement:We recently learned that Dr. Merle Berger was named in a lawsuit. This matter occurred more than 40 years ago which was prior to Dr. Berger’s employment at Boston IVF and‚ in fact‚ before our company existed. We wish to highlight that the field of reproductive endocrinology and infertility is much different than it was decades ago‚ and the safety measures and safeguards currently in place would make such allegations virtually impossible nowadays. Patients should be assured that our field continues to uphold the most rigorous ethical and medical standards.Boston IVF was founded in 1986‚ and Berger retired in 2020‚ according to the fertility clinic's website. New poll finds Biden is trailing Trump in seven key swing states — and the Biden campaign ignores the warning signs

President Joe Biden is trailing Donald Trump by sizable margins in critical swing states‚ according to a new Bloomberg/Morning Consult poll. The poll surveyed 4‚935 registered voters in seven battleground states — Arizona‚ Georgia‚ Michigan‚ Nevada‚ North Carolina‚ Pennsylvania‚ and Wisconsin — and discovered that Trump is leading Biden in all seven by an average of five percentage points.Arizona: Trump leads by four points‚ 46% to 42%Georgia: Trump leads by six points‚ 49% to 43%Michigan: Trump leads by four points‚ 46% to 42%Nevada: Trump leads by three points‚ 47% to 44%North Carolina: Trump leads by nine points‚ 49% to 40%Pennsylvania: Trump leads by two points‚ 46% to 44%Wisconsin: Trump leads by four points‚ 45% to 41%The results‚ which a New York Times poll essentially recreated last month‚ is significant for two reasons.First‚ these are the states that a candidate must win if they want to become president. Yes‚ the election is still more than 10 months away‚ but the poll is a finger on the pulse of the electorate that will decide if Biden wins re-election or if Republicans regain control of the White House. These results‚ then‚ are nothing to sneeze at.Second‚ Biden won six of the seven states in the 2020 presidential election (losing only North Carolina). That so many voters have soured on his presidency is an omen for his re-election hopes.Trump is beating Biden‚ according to the poll‚ because Americans trust him over Biden on the issues that matter most‚ including: the economy‚ immigration and the border crisis‚ crime‚ China‚ the Ukraine war‚ and Israel's war with Hamas. Biden‚ on the other hand‚ bests Trump on issues like abortion‚ health care‚ and climate change.Members of Biden's campaign are dismissing the poll's results and other similar surveys‚ telling Bloomberg News they are not concerned with polls this far out from Election Day. "Instead of worrying about polls a year out‚ our campaign is focused on earning every vote and highlighting the stakes between the extreme MAGA agenda and President Biden’s popular agenda that has delivered for young people‚ and Americans of all ages‚" a Biden campaign spokesperson said.Whether that attitude is ultimately to their detriment remains to be seen. But‚ eventually‚ you cannot keep ignoring the polls if nearly every major survey is finding the same results. Like Blaze News? Glenn: THIS is why we should leave the United Nations

In some cases‚ highly paid United Nations peacekeepers have done anything but keep the peace. One of these peacekeepers‚ 40-year-old Bourguet‚ was paid $7‚000 a month and was in charge of transport and logistics at the U.N. peacekeeping mission in Goma. Bourguet was giving underage locals money for sex and was later arrested by French authorities on charges that he raped at least 20 young girls — some as young as 12 years old. The United Nations promised to help the victims‚ but that promise was never kept. Needless to say‚ Glenn Beck doesn’t think the United Nations is worth keeping around. “We’ve heard about the blue helmets going in and raping women and children for decades. Decades. And nobody’s done anything about it‚” Glenn tells Pat Gray‚ adding‚ “They’re not just inept or ineffective. They’re evil.” Now‚ Mike Lee‚ Chip Roy‚ and Rep. Mike Rogers of Alabama are pushing a proposal that would cut all of our ties to the U.N. and all of its affiliated entities‚ including the World Health Organization. “No more blank checks for the United Nations. America’s hard-earned dollars have been funneled into initiatives that fly into the face of our values‚ enabling tyrants‚ betraying allies‚ and spreading bigotry‚” Chip Roy wrote in a statement. “With the DEFUND Act‚” he continued‚ “we’re stepping away from this debacle. If we engage with the UN in the future‚ it will be on our terms with a full backing of the Senate and the ironclad escape clause.” Glenn fully supports their cause as he’s well aware the U.N. does not support the people — but rather the elites. “This is not a war against Republican‚ Democrat. This is truly between the elites and the people‚ and that’s what’s happening all over the world‚” Glenn says. Feds may force Starbucks to reopen 23 stores — claim coffee chain illegally shuttered locations to block unionizing

A United States labor agency wants to force Starbucks to reopen 23 stores after it claimed the coffee chain illegally shuttered the locations to block employees from unionizing. The company shut down 16 locations in July 2022. The closed stores were located in a number of large cities‚ including Seattle‚ Philadelphia‚ Los Angeles‚ Portland‚ and Chicago. The National Labor Relations Board stated in a Wednesday complaint that eight of the Starbucks locations were unionized at the time they were shut down. The federal agency claimed that the company failed to notify the workers’ union‚ Starbucks Workers United‚ ahead of time about the closures‚ thereby denying the union the opportunity to bargain‚ according to NLRB spokesperson Matthew Hayward‚ Reuters reported.Hayward stated that the NLRB wants to force Starbucks to reopen the locations‚ rehire the employees‚ provide those workers with lost pay and benefits‚ and bargain with the union.Starbucks Workers United represents 340 of the company’s locations within the U.S.The NLRB contended that Starbucks intentionally closed the location to prevent workers from unionizing. The case will be reviewed by a judge in the summer of 2024 unless the company agrees to a settlement before then‚ the New York Times reported. On Thursday‚ the coffee chain released a new report‚ requested by its shareholders‚ detailing its labor practices. The report‚ prepared by an independent consultant‚ “found no evidence of an ‘anti-union playbook’ or instructions or training about how to violate US laws.”Starbucks Workers United spokesperson Mari Cosgrove told the New York Post that the federal government’s lawsuit further confirms that the company is determined to “illegally oppose workers’ organizing.”“It adds to the litany of complaints detailed in the company’s own report released this morning. If Starbucks is sincere in its overtures in recent days to forge a different relationship with its partners‚ this is exactly the kind of illegal behavior it needs to stop‚” Cosgrove stated. A spokesperson for Starbucks told the Post‚ “Each year as a standard course of business‚ we evaluate the store portfolio to determine where we can best meet our community and customers’ needs. This includes opening new locations‚ identifying stores in need of investment or renovation‚ exploring locations where an alternative format is needed and‚ in some instances‚ re-evaluating our footprint.”The NLRB declined to comment‚ the Post reported. In July‚ an NLRB judge ruled that Starbucks had illegally shut down a unionized location in Ithaca‚ New York. The company is appealing the judge’s decision.Like Blaze News? Bypass the censors‚ sign up for our newsletters‚ and get stories like this direct to your inbox. Sign up here!

CNN anchor asks just the right question about Hunter Biden's speech to send Biden spox into spiral: 'Ended up being not true'

White House spokesman Ian Sams became defensive on Thursday when CNN anchor Phil Mattingly confronted him over the changing narrative about President Joe Biden's alleged involvement in Hunter Biden's business schemes. For years‚ President Biden said that he never discussed business with his son. But that narrative began to change earlier this year after Devon Archer‚ one of Hunter's longtime business associates‚ testified to Congress that Biden had conversed with his son's business associates on numerous occasions. On Wednesday‚ the goalposts moved farther when Hunter Biden gave an exceptionally specific defense of his father."Let me state as clearly as I can: my father was not financially involved in my business‚" the first son said on Capitol Hill while defying a congressional subpoena. On "CNN This Morning‚" Mattingly highlighted the "evolution" of the narrative and pressed Sams about the specificity of the Hunter's statement. "Was that an intentional point of clarity‚ do you think?" Mattingly asked.Sams‚ however‚ became immediately defensive."I actually dispute the whole premise of that question‚" he said. Sams accused Mattingly of using "one of Jim Jordan's favorite little shiny objects— to try to take a semantic thing and make an argument" against the president. But Mattingly immediately shut down the accusation."With respect‚ I'm not siding with Jim Jordan here. I was in some of the White House press briefings where it was said explicitly the president did not talk to his son about business dealing. That is very clearly not the case and I think the statement from the White House has changed‚" the CNN anchor responded. "I'm not saying this is like an impeachable offense or some grand indictment‚ but it is a fact that the president said one thing that ended up being not true." — (@) Sams responded by accusing Mattingly of being dishonest."I dispute that that's true. That is not true. The truth is that he wasn't in business with his son‚" Sams said."Again‚ I'm not saying that he was in business with his son‚" Mattingly fired back. The last part of the exchange is telling. Mattingly never accused Biden of being involved in Hunter's business schemes; he was simply questioning the White House's changing narrative. Yet Sams twisted himself into a knot — ultimately not addressing the question — to defend President Biden from allegations that Mattingly never raised.Sams' response thus raises the question: if there is nothing to read into Hunter Biden's specific defense of his father‚ why dodge Mattingly's question? LeBron James’ latest disgrace &; UFC’s Colby Covington’s hilarious response

Certainly LeBron James loves the fact that he’s a billionaire; what’s ironic (and hypocritical)‚ however‚ is the fact that he hates the country that paved the way for him to become a billionaire. His latest cringeworthy political stunt occurred at his son’s basketball game this past Tuesday. The Laker’s power forward was filmed arrogantly walking into the arena during the national anthem and then sitting down as the song continued to play. Dave Rubin is disgusted by the flagrant disregard for our country but is also not surprised. “This has been consistent with LeBron James kneeling for the national anthem‚ sitting for the national anthem‚ [and] all of the BLM nonsense‚” he criticizes. “Michael Jordan‚ who is the true best player in basketball history ... went out of his way to be apolitical” because “he knew that everybody bought sneakers‚ everybody watched basketball‚ [and] that you watch sports and you participate in sports to get away from the day to day nonsense of the world” — a concept LeBron clearly doesn’t understand. Dave isn’t the only one who is repulsed by the superstar’s behavior‚ though. UFC legend Colby Covington also had some choice words for the athlete’s unapologetic disrespect. “If you hate America so much and you don’t like this country that gave you a billion dollars‚ leave it‚” he said‚ “or come deal with me.” “Go to China‚ go to the sweatshops where you employ all these laborers and use these women and pay them pennies on the dollar to make your millions.” “F*** you ... You’re a spineless coward‚ and you’re a b****‚” he fired before literally dropping the microphone and stalking off the stage. “I wanna get that guy on the show‚” laughs Dave. To see more of LeBron’s worst moments‚ watch the video below. UFC superstar tears into LeBron James after he is caught ignoring national anthem: 'Come deal with me'

UFC superstar Colby Covington blasted LeBron James on Wednesday after the Los Angeles Lakers' star power forward was caught on camera ignoring the national anthem. On Sunday‚ James attended a USC Trojans basketball game to watch his son‚ Bronny James‚ make his collegiate basketball debut. But James went viral after he walked into the Galen Center while the national anthem was being sung. When James reached his court-side seat‚ the NBA legend did not remain standing in observance of the anthem. Instead‚ he immediately sat down. — (@) During a press conference for UFC 296‚ Covington called out LeBron James for his history of kowtowing to China and his irreverence for the U.S."F*** LeBron James. If you hate America so much and you don’t like this country that gave you a billion dollars‚ leave it or come deal with me‚" Covington said."You go to China‚ go to these sweat shops that you employ all these laborers and use these women and pay them pennies on the dollar to make your millions‚" he continued. "F*** you‚ LeBron James. You're a coward. You're a spineless coward‚ and you're a b**ch."Covington actually made those comments after he had completed his press conference. He had walked away from the microphone‚ but returned about a minute later to condemn James. Colby Covington RANT on Government and LeBron James www.youtube.com While wearing a "Make America Great Again" suit jacket complete with former President Donald Trump's signature and a red‚ white‚ and blue version of his mugshot on the back‚ the welterweight fighter also spoke on politics."I can't believe they're using the Justice Department against [Trump]. Do you guys realize how corrupt this system is right now? They're weaponizing the justice system‚ the DOJ — it's political persecution‚" Covington said."They're scared of [Trump]. They know he's the greatest threat to the swamp. He stands for democracy‚ and they don't like that. There's a bunch of communist people running this country right now‚ and we need to get them out‚" he continued. "Our borders are wide open‚ inflation is higher than it's ever been. Our streets are burning‚ and we're sending money to Ukraine? For what? What happened to America first? That's what Donald Trump stands for." Like Blaze News? Man reportedly 'sexually molested' manatee statue at Florida restaurant‚ threw gator nuggets‚ caused traffic jam

A drunken man "sexually molested" a manatee statue at a Florida restaurant‚ threw alligator nuggets‚ got into a physical altercation with a worker‚ and went on an obscenity-filled tirade at a hotel that caused a traffic jam‚ police said. Anthony Michael Lessa‚ 23‚ was arrested on Friday night and charged with a misdemeanor count of disorderly intoxication‚ according to an arrest report from the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office.Lessa was reportedly dining at Rick's Reef‚ a bar and restaurant located in St. Pete Beach‚ Florida. Lessa allegedly became intoxicated at the restaurant and was hostile toward staffers. "The patron became upset when he was told he’d already paid his bill‚ then got angrier when he was asked to leave the restaurant‚" the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office said. WOFL reported‚ "When staff confronted Lessa‚ he 'became belligerent' and 'sexually molested' a manatee statue in the presence of staff and other patrons‚ the affidavit said." See on Instagram Lessa is accused of being "physically aggressive" with a restaurant employee who asked him to leave. Lessa — from Pittsburgh‚ Pennsylvania — allegedly hurled gator nuggets in the restaurant before fleeing the scene.Approximately 30 minutes later‚ Lessa arrived at the Postcard Inn on the Beach‚ less than half a mile from the Rick's Reef restaurant. At the hotel‚ Lessa reportedly screamed obscenities at employees and "acted disorderly" before he was asked to leave. Lessa refused to leave so the hotel manager called police‚ according to the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office. The hotel manager reportedly asked Lessa to calm down and offered to escort him to his room‚ but he refused to say which room he was in.According to the affidavit‚ Lessa exited the hotel and went to the parking lot‚ where he continued to hurl vulgarities. Deputies said the man's outburst caused a back-up in traffic on Gulf Boulevard. He was also accused of "disturbing of the peace of several other guests waiting for rides."During his arrest and subsequent pat-down‚ police officers discovered gator nuggets in his pocket‚ as seen in video released by the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office. A deputy is heard on video asking Lessa‚ "What is that? Oh‚ that was the crap you had that you were throwing in the other restaurant."Lessa responded‚ "Nuggets‚ yeah. Gator nuggets. Shark bites."A shoeless Lessa repeatedly asked the officers why he was being arrested and ordered them to contact his lawyer. Pinellas County Sheriff's Office deputies reportedly detected a strong odor consistent with alcohol and observed that his pupils were dilated in a high-light environment. The suspect was in a heightened state with a short-term memory implication‚ deputies said.Lessa was arrested and booked into jail. He was released on Saturday morning. — (@) Like Blaze News? Blaze Media investigative journalist Steve Baker says Justice Department will be charging him for his Jan. 6 reporting

Blaze Media investigative journalist Steve Baker on Thursday said the U.S. Department of Justice will be charging him for his Jan. 6 reporting. — (@) "My attorney has just been notified by @FBI that I am going to be charged by @TheJusticeDept for my journalistic efforts on #Jan6‚" Baker wrote Thursday on X. "I have to self-surrender on Tuesday. Charges are yet unknown. Stay tuned for more information to follow this afternoon." What are the details? Baker on Thursday told Blaze Media that FBI Special Agent Craig Noyes contacted his attorney in North Carolina and that Noyes said he doesn't know what the charges are — and won't know until the judge signs off on the warrant. Baker also told Blaze Media that if the Justice Department goes forward with charges‚ travel restrictions will be placed on him‚ which will hamper his reporting‚ as he's based in North Carolina but works a great deal in Washington‚ D.C.‚ covering trials‚ viewing Jan. 6 videos‚ and speaking face-to-face with elected officials. Given Baker has been writing Blaze Media investigative stories on Jan. 6 since early October‚ Baker said he "cannot help but think the timing [of the impending charges] is suspect." Blaze Media's editor in chief‚ Matthew Peterson‚ spoke out Thursday regarding the message Baker said the FBI delivered to his attorney. — (@) — (@) — (@) What's the background?Baker discussed his Jan. 6 legal saga in a pair of October commentary pieces for Blaze Media (here and here). In them‚ Baker said he'd been under federal investigation for the better part of two years following his independent journalistic work on Jan. 6‚ which began before he joined Blaze Media.More from Baker's first commentary:I made no effort to hide what I was doing on January 6. I did two different interviews that same day with WUSA‚ a CBS News affiliate in Washington‚ D.C. I also uploaded a short YouTube video commentary later that same evening.Upon returning to my home in Raleigh‚ North Carolina‚ I socked myself away for five days‚ doing a frame-by-frame analysis of my own videos. I then wrote and published on January 13‚ 2021‚ a 9‚500-word opus to my blog detailing what I experienced that day‚ titled‚ “What I Saw on January 6th in Washington‚ D.C.” That piece‚ and a February 24‚ 2021‚ follow-up‚ “Who was ‘Up the Chain’ on January 6?” has been viewed and read by hundreds of thousands of readers on my blog and various social media pages.I always expected that I would be contacted by the FBI at some point‚ at the very least to acquire my videos for the bureau's investigations. I did no violence or property destruction on January 6‚ and I certainly did not interfere with the election certification‚ as I didn’t enter the Capitol Building until well after both the Senate and House of Representatives had been evacuated. After the FBI made initial contact with Baker in July 2021‚ Baker said he and his attorney met in person with FBI Special Agents Gerrit Doss and Craig Noyes in North Carolina on Oct. 18‚ 2021. At the conclusion of the interview‚ Baker said he and his attorney volunteered to turn over Baker's Jan. 6 videos‚ but nothing came of that. Baker said his attorney got a Nov. 17‚ 2021‚ email from assistant U.S. attorney Anita Eve saying that Baker could expect to be "charged within the week" — and that the charges would be interstate racketeering and property damage‚ which Baker said were bogus. With that‚ Baker said he and his attorney informed the media that he — an independent journalist — was being prosecuted for his coverage of Jan. 6.Eve was forwarded a copy of Baker's press release‚ telling his attorney that she was "not thrilled" with it. His attorney replied‚ “Mr. Baker is obviously feeling threatened by the charges and is using his First Amendment right to garner support. ... Are you suggesting that he refrain from making further statements? ... He has nothing to hide. But he does have a right to speak truthfully about his experiences and share his opinions. ... It’s not fair to ask him to be silent while he endures federal prosecution.” His attorney again volunteered to turn over Baker's Jan. 6 videos.Despite the threat of charges "within the week‚" Baker said he didn't hear from Eve's office for nearly two years — and in August 2023‚ his attorney accepted service of a grand jury subpoena‚ signed by Eve‚ for all the Jan. 6 videos Baker personally recorded.Baker wrote in his second commentary that "grand juries generally are not convened for misdemeanor offenses but rather for felony charges." Curiously‚ he added that renewed interest from the Justice Department coincided perfectly with his discussions with Blaze Media to become a contributing investigative journalist and columnist. As Baker told Blaze Media on Thursday‚ he'd been "poking the bear rather aggressively."Later that same August‚ Baker and his attorney delivered a flash drive containing his videos to FBI Special Agent Noyes. Baker concluded his second commentary with the following promise: "The truth is‚ my life hasn’t been destroyed. Yet. But many others have been. I intend to show through my investigations that many lives have been destroyed for no good reason — and that cannot stand."How are others reacting?Bradford L. Geyer‚ an attorney who represented now-imprisoned Oath Keeper Kenneth Harrelson — who Baker said was unjustly accused on Jan. 6 — on Thursday told Blaze Media that "since Jan. 6‚ few reporters have uncovered as many vital stories as Steve Baker. It sadly seems plausible that the decision to charge him is influenced by his recent reporting and the new stories he's in the process of breaking. If the government believes this will silence him‚ we predict it will be sadly mistaken. Journalists play a critical role in upholding transparency and informing the public‚ making it vital for them to operate without undue interference from law enforcement. Providing journalists with protections and a buffer ensures the preservation of a free press‚ safeguarding the democratic principles of open discourse and accountability. Sadly‚ it seems that the historical high bar for investigating journalists at the Justice Department has been conspicuously lowered in some cases. Given the stakes‚ all journalists should rally to Steve Baker’s defense."Anything else?Baker's first Jan. 6 analysis came in October‚ following countless hours in a House subcommittee office looking at frame after frame of Jan. 6 closed-circuit video — and it had him wondering: did the security chief for then-House Speaker Nancy Pelosi perjure himself in the Oath Keepers trial?Soon after‚ the slow pace of getting an unrestricted look at everything recorded on video prompted Blaze Media editor in chief Matthew Peterson's appeal to House Speaker Mike Johnson to release all the videos. On Nov. 17‚ Johnson did just that.Baker's investigative efforts also resulted in two additional analyses‚ both focusing on Capitol Police Officer Harry Dunn: "January 6 and the N-word that wasn't" and "Harry Dunn's account of January 6 does not add up. At all."Just days ago‚ Baker alleged he uncovered major irregularities involving Dunn‚ Capitol Police‚ the press‚ and U.S. Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-Maryland).Here's Baker speaking to Glenn Beck‚ founder of TheBlaze‚ on Oct. 4 about his first Jan. 6 investigative story for Blaze Media: Pelosi’s Head of Security Likely PERJURED Himself With Jan 6 LIE | Blaze Media EXCLUSIVE youtu.be Like Blaze News?
