The eyewitness‚ an ex-US Army intelligence vet‚ describes his sighting of a Bigfoot near his home in Bath‚ New York. He mentions how it seemed to 'glide' as it paced back and forth.The following account was forwarded to me:“On or about mid-November 2012 I had a very unusual experience that at first kept me very mixed up but it always stayed in my mind until I started doing research. It was about 2:00 to 3:00 AM in the morning. I woke to go outside and have a smoke. The area of the town of Bath‚ New York is semi-rugged with hundreds of huge foothills. There's a vast amount of forests‚ lakes‚ ponds‚ wildlife‚ and several state parks. Much of the land is posted‚ 'No Hunting.' The hills are super steep‚ so climbing or hiking is difficult.We rented the full basement apartment of a home. Our entryway was at the back of the home semi-underground. There was a deck over our entryway. I'm an ex-US Army Intel special-tasking veteran who served in Central America and the Middle East. I'm telling you this because I'm a trained observer and weigh out everything I see. I am super aware of my surroundings.That morning I went outside and lit up a cigarette. It was dark that night and cool. Deer would constantly wander through and many times I would try not to spook them. As I lit up my smoke‚ some movement caught my attention about 140 yards directly in front of me. To the east‚ a cinnamon-brownish-colored figure was pacing back and forth over and over. On each side of this clearcut‚ there are a couple of homes. This thing was at the far end of the next tree line pacing back and forth‚ moving towards the last home and back again‚ moving approximately north to south then back the other way. It was moving erratically‚ pacing back and forth like it was confused or undecided if it wanted to go closer to the home. As I looked at first I thought it was a drunk person. But in all the years I lived there I've never seen anyone out there.As I watched what really caught my attention was it looked like it was floating across the ground as there was absolutely no head bob at all. The ground rose between myself and this entity and went back down on its side‚ so I could not see the lower legs well. It kept on pacing back and forth for about 3 minutes at the position. I was under the deck in the shadows. I was not observed by this creature. I'm not afraid of too much but for some reason‚ the hair stood off up on the back of my neck and I got into what I call 'combat mode.' I wanted to bellow out at this entity but something said not to do that.After around 3 to 4 minutes of this pacing‚ I turned my head for a second and it was gone. I got a fearful sense of where this thing went and had a feeling it may try to flank me around the two homes‚ so I went into the house‚ woke up my wife‚ and said‚ 'There's something weird out there!' I didn't think Bigfoot right away because it's not the Patty-type I have seen in the Patterson/Gimlin film. I always thought that they were in the Northwest‚ not here in New York State. It was‚ I believe‚ 6 to 7 ft tall‚ had a slimmer build‚ wide on top‚ and slimmer than Patty‚ more like a fine-tuned athlete than a bodybuilder with long arms and an awfully long shaggy head of hair that stood out to me weird. The only reason I saw it was because there was a light on in that home that lit it up in some of the area.Upon seeing it‚ after the fact‚ I realized there was a hedge running parallel to it‚ and a large ravine behind that ran into the woods. Across from this property was a road with a couple of mobile homes‚ then a very steep wooded foothill‚ and a small mountain. For years this baffled me and I could not get it out of my mind until I found six reports entirely around my area in November of 2019. I heard two huge body-shaking screams from the ridgeline very close to my new home in Bath‚ close to the same area. It was very loud‚ and not any animal I know of here. I know now what I saw and I know what I heard." If you want to drive through the seven wealthiest counties in the United States‚ as measured by median household income‚ you will have to visit only two of the nation’s metropolitan areas. And it would be best to start your trip from the Ellipse in front of the White House. From there‚ drive six blocks down Constitution Avenue to the Roosevelt Bridge and cross over into Virginia. Head down Arlington Boulevard to Route 7 and then take the Dulles Toll Road to the airport. When you get there‚ fly to San Francisco‚ rent a car and drive south to Stanford University. Then drive back north through the city and across the Golden Gate Bridge. Then return immediately to the airport and fly back to Virginia to Reagan National Airport. When you arrive at Reagan‚ drive through D.C. and Maryland to the town of North Laurel. The East Coast side of this trip‚ according to Google Maps‚ need never take you more than 30 miles from the White House. Nor need the West Coast side take you more than 30 miles from the San Francisco airport. But on this excursion‚ you would not only have driven in the seven wealthiest counties in the country‚ but also in the 10th- and 11th-wealthiest counties. On the way from the White House to Dulles‚ you would drive in these Virginia jurisdictions: Arlington County; the city of Falls Church (which the Census Bureau treats as a county); and Fairfax and Loudon counties. On the way from the San Francisco airport to Stanford‚ you would drive in San Mateo and Santa Clara counties. On the way from Stanford to the north side of the Golden Gate Bridge‚ you would drive in San Francisco and Marin counties. And on the way from Reagan National Airport to North Laurel‚ you would drive in Howard County‚ Maryland. The Census Bureau last week released its American Community Survey five-year estimates (2018-2022) for median household income. Loudoun County‚ Virginia‚ ranked No. 1 in the nation with a median household income of $170‚463. Falls Church‚ Virginia‚ ranked second at $164‚536. Santa Clara County‚ California‚ ranked third at $153‚792. San Mateo County‚ California‚ ranked fourth at $149‚907. Fairfax County‚ Virginia‚ ranked fifth at $145‚165. Marin County‚ California‚ ranked sixth at $142‚019. and Howard County‚ Maryland‚ ranked seventh at $140‚971. The eighth-wealthiest county is the first one that is not a suburb of Washington or San Francisco: Douglas County‚ Colorado‚ with a median household income of $139‚010. Nassau County‚ New York‚ placed ninth at $137‚709. Then the rankings go back to the Washington and San Francisco areas: Arlington County‚ Virginia‚ ranked 10th at $137‚387‚ and San Francisco itself ranked 11th at $136‚689. The seven jurisdictions in the Washington and San Francisco areas that had the nation’s highest median household incomes also had something else in common: They are all represented in the House of Representatives by liberal Democrats. Loudoun County‚ the nation’s wealthiest county‚ was represented by Rep. Jennifer Wexton‚ a Democrat. Wexton had a 100% rating from the American Civil Liberties Union in the 117th Congress‚ which ended Jan. 3 of this year. The city of Falls Church‚ the second-wealthiest jurisdiction‚ is represented by Rep. Don Beyer‚ a Democrat who had a 100% rating from the ACLU in the 117th Congress. Santa Clara County‚ California‚ the third-wealthiest county‚ had four Democratic representatives in the House: Anna Eshoo‚ Ro Khanna‚ Zoe Lofgren‚ and Jimmy Panetta. They all had 100% ACLU ratings. San Mateo County‚ California‚ the nation’s fourth-wealthiest county‚ was represented by Eshoo and fellow Democrat Kevin Mullin‚ who was elected in 2022. Mullin previously served in the California State Assembly‚ where he had a 100% rating from the ACLU. Fairfax County‚ Virginia‚ the fifth-wealthiest county‚ was represented by three Democrats: Wexton‚ Beyer‚ and Gerry Connolly‚ who—like Wexton and Beyer—had a 100% ACLU rating. Marin County‚ California‚ the sixth-wealthiest county‚ was represented by Rep. Jared Huffman‚ a Democrat who also had a 100% rating from the ACLU. Howard County‚ Maryland‚ the nation’s seventh-wealthiest county‚ was represented by Rep. John Sarbanes‚ a Democrat with a 100% rating from the ACLU. Douglas County‚ Colorado‚ the eighth-wealthiest county‚ was the first outlier. It was primarily represented by Rep. Ken Buck‚ a Republican who had only an 11% rating from the ACLU but who isn’t running for reelection. A small portion of Douglas County also was represented by Rep. Jason Crow‚ a Democrat who had a 100% ACLU rating. Nassau County‚ New York‚ the nation’s ninth wealthiest county‚ was represented by Rep. Andrew Garbarino‚ a Republican (44% ACLU rating) and GOP freshmen Anthony D’Esposito and George Santos. The House expelled Santos earlier this month. Arlington County‚ Virginia‚ the 10th-wealthiest county‚ was represented by Beyer; and San Francisco County‚ the 11th-wealthiest county‚ was represented by Mullin and former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi‚ also a Democrat. Pelosi‚ like all of her Democratic colleagues in this nation’s other wealthiest congressional districts‚ had a 100% rating from the ACLU. Hunter Biden defied a congressional subpoena on Wednesday‚ an action his father has previously said should be prosecuted. President Joe Biden said in October 2021 that individuals who defy subpoenas from the January 6 House Select Committee should be prosecuted‚ and the Justice Department indicted Steve Bannon for doing so in November 2021. Legal experts said the president’s son could be‚ but for various reasons may not be‚ likewise prosecuted by the Biden Justice Department for his choice to hold a press conference on Capitol Hill instead of sitting his deposition before the House Oversight Committee. Criminal defense attorney and legal analyst Philip Holloway told the Daily Caller News Foundation that the law “must be applied equally or it has no meaning.” “Hunter Biden needs to be held to the same standard as other recent people who have thumbed their noses at congressional subpoenas‚” Holloway said. “In this case‚ however‚ Hunter went so far as to show up on Capitol grounds and hold a press conference‚ thereby figuratively giving the middle finger to the House of Representatives. It is imperative that he be cited for contempt and that he be prosecuted by the U.S. attorney just as was the case recently with Bannon.” Holloway called dodging a valid subpoena “just stupid‚” noting Hunter could have “invoked the 5th Amendment” at his deposition. “I scratch my head wondering why Hunter’s lawyer—who stood with him at the presser— would subject his client to additional criminal charges‚” he said. “I would never have advised someone to dodge a subpoena.” George Washington University Law professor Jonathan Turley made a similar point Thursday‚ writing that Republicans initiating contempt of Congress proceedings could “force the hand of Attorney General Merrick Garland” and calling Hunter’s refusal to appear an “unenforced error.” Garland said in 2021 that the prosecution of Bannon was in pursuit of “equal justice under the law.” “Since my first day in office‚ I have promised Justice Department employees that together we would show the American people by word and deed that the department adheres to the rule of law‚ follows the facts and the law and pursues equal justice under the law‚” said Garland in a statement at the time. “Today’s charges reflect the department’s steadfast commitment to these principles.” House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer and House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan said in a statement Wednesday that they intend to initiate contempt of Congress proceedings. Former federal prosecutor Andy McCarthy wrote Wednesday that the younger Biden knows he won’t be prosecuted by the Justice Department. “Similarly‚ Hunter Biden knows that‚ while the House could hold him in contempt‚ the Biden Justice Department is not going to prosecute him for criminal contempt for [sic] three reasons‚” he wrote. “(1) he’s the president’s son; (2) there’s already tension with the White House because prosecutors botched the sweetheart plea deal and have now indicted Hunter twice (putting the president in the politically compromising position of having to pardon him at some point); and (3) the Justice Department is part of an administration whose story is that the impeachment inquiry is an illegitimate political hit job forced by MAGA Republicans so they can orchestrate proceedings hyped as ‘Biden impeachment’ in parallel with the criminal proceedings Trump faces in court‚ which Democrats are hyping.” The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
