Last week a judge in Texas ruled that a 31-year-old mother of three could dismember her innocent baby in the womb after finding out the baby had Trisomy 18. As of Monday‚ a Texas supreme court blocked the judges ruling and halted the murder.  Kate Cox learned at 20 weeks gestation that her baby had a fetal abnormality. Rather than giving her child a chance at life‚ as many children with trisomy 18 end up surviving‚ Cox sought an emergency abortion insisting that she didn’t want to take any risks by delivering her baby. Cox‚ fearful of her chance to have more pregnancies in the future‚ pleaded for a judge to allow her to have a dilation and evacuation abortion where a provider will reach up‚ grab the baby girl’s arms and legs and pull them off‚ one by one. It would be a brutal‚ gruesome and painful death for the little baby girl.  County District Court Judge Maya Guerra Gamble ruled that Cox would be able to obtain the procedure and she and the abortionist would be barred from any prosecution despite the fact that an abortion of this sort is illegal according to Texas pro-life laws. By God’s grace‚ the Texas Supreme Court has blocked that order.  Cox was permitted a temporary restraining order that prevented Texas from enforcing the state’s ban for her case‚ but just 30 hours after that‚ the Texas Supreme Court ended the restraining order.  “Without regard to the merits‚ the Court administratively stays the district court’s December 7‚ 2023 order‚” the ruling said Friday.  Senior staff attorney‚ Molly Duane‚ for the Center for Reproductive Rights who is representing Cox said that she still hopes the state will side with Cox and allow her to obtain the abortion. She insisted that the block was a denial of “justice” for Cox.  According to reports on Monday however‚ Cox has now left Texas to seek an abortion in another state.  With that new information‚ users on Twitter provided mixed reviews. “This is madness” one wrote‚ adding that we need to “codify Roe into federal law.” Abortion Access Front went straight for violence. “Texas politicians might as well chase abortion seekers to the border with pitchforks and torches‚” the group wrote adding “FUCK YOU KEN PAXTON! FUCK YOU TEXAS SUPREME COURT!” Others had different takes.  “No one is rejoicing. We're heartbroken for both mother and child. But there is no reason to kill the baby. Give birth‚ love the child as long as he or she lives and celebrate that time together‚” LifeNews.com tweeted. Another wrote‚ “That’s the actual news. The woman doesn’t want a disabled child so instead of delivering the baby and treating it like a family member she wanted it removed. Ultimately‚ the story of Kate Cox is heartbreaking. It’s heartbreaking that her baby was diagnosed with a medical struggle but it's also heartbreaking that she’s being fed lie after lie that’s convinced her that dismembering her baby is not only an option but a good option.  Prayers go out to Cox for clarity on truth and her innocent child for safety and sanctity.

On Monday‚ the New York Post’s Sara Nathan revealed in an exclusive that longtime Saturday Night Live star Cecily Strong felt “uncomfortable” and backed out of playing House Republican Conference Chair Elise Stefanik (R-NY) in the December 9 episode’s cold open attacking her questioning of cowardly heads of Harvard‚ Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT)‚ and University of Pennsylvania for their failure to address anti-Semitism on their campuses. Nathan reported that “Strong backed out” after rehearsals “because she was ‘uncomfortable’ with the heavily criticized cold-open sketch‚ sources confirm to The Post.” This left new cast member Chloe Troast to take her place as Stefanik with a crazy ex-girlfriend vibe. The Post added the cold open “was slightly rushed” in coming together‚ as evidenced by “a mix-up with the nameplates in front of” those playing the presidents of MIT and Penn. NBC’s SNL‚ long known as a painfully unfunny show and instead group therapy for deranged leftists‚ seemed to have touched a nerve given their lack of concern for anti-Semitism and support on college campuses for Hamas terrorists who slaughtered Jews on October 7.  Instead‚ the NBC show determined Stefanik was the problem with Troast playing her as a deeply partisan and shriek-filled bimbo who told the faux university chiefs she’d be “screaming questions...like I’m Billy Eichner.”     SNL’s Stefanik also suggested Republicans denouncing anti-Semitism at universities were hypocrites because “hate speech” is better suited for “Congress‚ on Elon Musk’s Twitter‚ in private dinners with my donors‚ and in public speeches by my work husband‚ Donald Trump.” While it was unsurprising the Post noted the audience’s discomfort with the sketch‚ it was more intriguing that the liberal tools at the Daily Beast and the entertainment site The Wrap took notice. “The troubled sketch seemed to receive both lukewarm laughs and a largely negative response from viewers sharing their thoughts online‚” wrote The Wrap.  When you’re a leftist outfit and The Daily Beast was calling you out‚ it’s safe to say you messed up: “The sketch‚ meanwhile‚ received a tepid response from those in the crowd and at home; The Daily Beast contributor Jennifer M. Wood called the cold open “meandering” and a “mess” that didn’t elicit much laughter from the audience.”

They were all in a box until Biden and Blinken come in and unleashed the whole damn thing‚” Levin says. A male Irish dancer who failed to break into the top 10 at the recent Irish Dancing World Championships appears to have found a surefire way to seize first place: claiming to be a girl. The minor placed 11th when competing against other males in the Irish Dancing Commission's Oireachtas Rince na Cruinne in April. He subsequently changed tack and sexual category‚ competing earlier this month against girls in Dallas‚ Texas‚ at the 2023 Southern Region Oireachtas under-14 solo championship. Through social constructivist subterfuge‚ the male dancer — of the Inis Cairde School of Irish Dance of Raleigh‚ North Carolina — crushed his female rivals in the supposedly sex-segregated competition by hundreds of points‚ thereby placing first out of 100 dancers and qualifying both for the nationals and world championships. Whereas the junior transvestite took first place in the girl's under-14 category with 729 points‚ the score he would have had to beat for first in the boys under 14 category was 900 points. Ahead of the competition‚ P.J. McCafferty‚ southern regional director of the Irish Dance Teacher's Association‚ said in a Facebook statement — on which comments were disabled — "I am aware that there is a great deal of upset in the Southern Region about the CLRG and IDTANA policies that transgender Irish Dancers enter competitions that align with the gender identity." "Entering and competing in the CLRG World Championship competition that corresponds to the gender identity of the dancer is an established CLRG precedent‚ it has been done before‚" wrote McCafferty. "I am asking for your tolerance. You are expected to respect all the dancers." McCafferty indicated in an Oct. 30 letter that he had convened a meeting of the IDTANA's southern region executive board and successfully proposed that they allow transvestites to compete in the category of their choosin‚ reported the Daily Signal. A mother of one of the girls who had to compete with the boy in Texas told the Daily Signal‚ "Oh‚ my gosh. It's gong to make me cry." "I never thought I was going to have to deal with this. And my heart breaks for my daughter and the other girls that are having to deal with this‚" said the mother. "They are too young to have to deal with topics that are going on in society‚ that are adult topics‚ that they don't quite understand yet." "They just look at it as unfair‚" continued the mother. "And it's really hard o explain to them what's going on and why they have to accept it. That's what society's making them do." The Daily Signal indicated neither the boy's dance school nor mother responded to requests for comment. There are presently two petitions concerning the inclusion of transvestites in Irish dancing competitions‚ one for and the other against. The petition against the inclusion of males in the female category‚ which had netted over 4‚100 signatures at the time of publication‚ states‚ "While recognizing and celebrating diversity and inclusivity‚ we believe that maintaining separate categories for transgender individuals and female participants is essential to ensuring fair and equitable competition." Extra to alluding to men's well-documented physical advantages over women in sports‚ the petition stresses that "[i]ntroducing transgender individuals into female competitions without thoughtful consideration of these differences may inadvertently create an uneven playing field‚ potentially discouraging female dancers from participating or achieving their full potential." The petition in support of having girls compete with physiologically advantaged males states‚ "transgender dancers who win or see other significant success in Irish dancing competitions do so based on their hard work towards the demanding ideals of our art and sport‚ just as any dancer‚ and we celebrate their right to succeed." One dancer's parent suggested to the Daily Signal that other parents "are absolutely outraged. It's absolutely ridiculous‚ just like in any other sport‚ and we're seeing it play out on the national stage in the congressional hearings this week." The mother of a dancer who is headed to the world championships after competing with the junior transvestite said‚ "It's totally wrong. It's unfair‚ especially in Irish dance. A lot of it is just about power and strength. Yes‚ there is the technique ... but a lot of it also has to do with strength and power and the boy are stronger." Parents have expressed fear of reprisals should they speak publicly against LGBT activism and unfairness on the dance floor. The mother whose daughter is headed to the championships said‚ "I could lose my job. I'm afraid my child might be chastised or‚ you know‚ not allowed to compete in other Irish dancing. Something novel happens when you lock up more repeat violent offenders for longer. Believe it or not‚ crime begins to drop. Many Republicans who bought into the lie of “criminal justice reform” seemed to have forgotten this lesson from the 1990s‚ as we enjoyed a decades-long decrease in crime. But as crime surged again in recent years following the proliferation of weak sentencing laws‚ the trend is swinging back in states that learned the lesson from the Koch-funded jailbreak agenda. Like many red states run by pro-jailbreak Republicans‚ Tennessee’s violent crime rate increased steadily from its nadir in 2013‚ culminating with the appalling crime wave of 2020-2021. It was thanks to the policies of the previous decade passed by liberal Republicans that we needed to jeopardize public safety by trying to save money on incarceration. Much to the consternation of Governor Bill Lee‚ however‚ the legislature has passed several tough-on-crime measures designed to extend sentences for violent criminals. As always‚ it worked magic. A new Justice Department report shows a 14% drop in the homicide rate following an 8% increase in the incarcerated population in Tennessee last year. Preliminary numbers from the Tennessee Department of Corrections show that the incarcerated population has increased another 2% thus far in 2023. This reverses a decade-long trend of jailbreak policies. It’s not a coincidence that the homicide rate in Tennessee went from a low of 5.2 per 100‚000 in 2013 to 9.6 in 2020. It was during that time when Lee and his predecessor pushed for jailbreak and stated‚ “We have to be creative and innovative and disruptive and challenge the way we’ve been doing things forever.” Although the crime wave appears to have eased in 2022 across the nation‚ the decline is clearly sharper in Tennessee. Given that the FBI changed its 100-year method of calculating murders starting in 2021‚ there are some who estimate that 4‚800 homicides fell through the cracks of the FBI’s new data reporting system because major police departments did not report their data to the FBI’s Crime Data Explorer. So it’s unclear how much the murder rate really dropped nationally in 2022 relative to the prior two years. Incarceration might be expensive‚ but it’s not as expensive as unchecked crime or the blood of innocents spilled by jailbreak policies. Just ask retailers. Long before the current shoplifting crisis‚ Jeffrey L. Sedgwick‚ former director of the Bureau of Justice Statistics‚ wrote in the Washington Post in 2008 that the “most conservative estimate for the cost of violent and property crimes in the United States is $17 billion a year — and that’s just direct‚ immediate cost. This leaves out such costs as crime victims’ struggle to be made whole.” Fast-forward over a decade‚ when retail theft has been legalized essentially in blue cities‚ and the cost has grown exponentially. A National Retail Security Survey from 2022 estimates the cost of shoplifting to be as high as $100 billion. The truth is that we have always had an under-incarceration problem. The entire premise of over-incarceration‚ the ideology that sold Trump on the inane “First Step Act‚” was always bunk. The people who are in prison on drug‚ gang‚ and firearms charges deserve to be there — and for a very long time. According to an April report from the BJS‚ among those admitted to state prison between 2009 and 2014‚ 64% already had arrests before they turned 20 and 59% already had 10 or more arrests; 95% had at least two priors‚ and 74% had a prior arrest for a violent offense.That is the profile of who is in our prisons. They already got their “second chance” — often many times over. Yet they are still largely under-punished. Despite the average state prisoner’s long rap sheet‚ according to BJS‚ 52% of them served less than a year’s sentence‚ while 60% were rearrested for a new crime within two years. It doesn’t take a genius to understand that if you take the baseline of current drug traffickers who have accrued many other crimes and release them early‚ it will generate more crime. This is why the First Step Act was so insane. Just last week‚ Baltimore media reported that William Dredden‚ the father of a teen who accompanied his child to commit a violent shooting at a local high school‚ was released early by Trump’s First Step Act. As crime expert Sean Kennedy reported‚ Dredden had a 20-year record of over a dozen arrests but barely served time. Even when the feds nabbed him for operating an open-air drug market‚ he still was only sentenced to four years — preposterous given his record. Yet he was released 15 months early to participate in a violent school shooting. It’s people like this who were showcased by Trump and the left with Kim Kardashian as model citizens turning their lives around who were unfairly targeted for prison. Of course‚ those few who truly are unfairly targeted — such as political opponents — are getting stiffer sentences than ever. If we are going to live under a police state‚ we might as well reap the benefits of tougher law enforcement on the people who really need to be locked up.

Comedian Daniel Tosh said that cancel culture is "great" on his podcast‚ "Tosh Show‚" and mentioned that sometimes backlash is deserved.Tosh's new podcast takes a unique angle where the comedian interviews seemingly random people from his life. The first episode‚ titled "My Wife's Gynecologist‚" was watched over two million times on YouTube and was followed by "My Favorite Athlete with No Legs" for episode two.On episode three‚ "My Wellness Guru‚" Tosh joked about how all his "closest friends are Latino" yet he refuses to speak Spanish."I just tell them‚ 'You're in my country!' "I think people deserve it and you know obviously it's not a real thing where like‚ oh‚ your livelihood is gone‚ but as someone who's done things and said horrible things constantly‚ I've had backlash‚ and I deserve it‚" he explained."There has to be consequences‚ and I also don't think that there's a problem with evolving‚ and‚ 'Oh‚ I used to be able to say this and now I can't.'
