A reader forwarded this account of a supposedly evil gnome that was terrorizing a farmhouse near Porterville‚ California. I don't know the background on this‚ so I'm posting as is."A woman by the name of Tammy moved herself and her three children into a small farmhouse on the Tule River near Porterville. Soon after moving in Tammy started feeling like something was watching them and had an uneasy feeling every time she walked by the old barn. For some reason‚ most of the animals on the farm seemed to avoid the rickety old building and soon she noticed that the number of her ducks and chickens had started to dwindle‚ but couldn't figure out why. She was soon going to have an idea why.One night Tammy and her son were coming back from grocery shopping when‚ as she parked the car and got out‚ she noticed movement to her right. Thinking nothing of it she picked up a grocery bag and noticed it again‚ this time accompanied by what she described as a "very freaky‚ very evil-sounding chuckle." Looking in the direction of the noise Tammy noticed about 50 yards from her a small humanoid-looking figure. Or as she described it‚ a gnome.The figure was about two to three feet in height and wore black baggy pants and a gold-colored shirt. The face was partially covered by a long salt and pepper beard and on top of the head was a long‚ red pointed hat. The nose was large and bulbous and the eyes were rather deep-set. As the figure grinned at them‚ Tammy noticed that the grin was almost from ear to ear and the teeth looked to be an ugly brown color and appeared to be either pointed or jagged.Horrified‚ Tammy dropped the groceries‚ grabbed her son‚ and ran off towards the house with the cackling little man right on her heels. Tammy was able to get inside the house and was telling her two daughters what she saw when she saw movement outside the kitchen window. Upon investigating she saw the top of the figure's red pointed hat moving back and forth underneath the window. Finally‚ after what must have seemed like an eternity‚ the figure disappeared and Tammy was able to get the groceries from the car. This was the only time she actually saw the figure‚ but until she moved out she would always hear creepy chuckling coming from the old barn‚ as if it was taunting her or something.You would think that this would be an isolated occurrence‚ but it seems the gnome wasn't satisfied with just terrorizing Tammy and her family.In March 2010‚ a family moved into the same house on the Tule River. According to the wife‚ Charlie‚ it was perfect for what their family needed. Her husband took a particular liking to a pond on the property and decorated it with fairy‚ gnome‚ and toadstool yard ornaments and stocked it with Japanese koi fish. Not surprisingly‚ Charlie and her family also had an eerie feeling about the old barn on the property and tried to stay away from it as much as possible.One night‚ at around 3:00 am‚ Charlie and her husband were woken by what can only be described as a "raspy‚ gurgling singing." Charlie and her husband looked out their bedroom window and what they saw defied what they considered their reality. Standing by the pond and holding one of the garden gnomes was a creature that came out of a Grimm's Fairy Tale‚ as Charlie described it. The creature was two to three feet tall‚ wearing maroon pants‚ a baggy yellow shirt with a brown vest over it‚ and a dark waistcoat. It had a large gray beard and was wearing a reddish-brown pointed hat. Charlie went on to say the most horrible part of the creature was its eyes and teeth. When it grinned its teeth appeared to be jagged and pointed and the eyes were small and beady and had a dark mean look to them.Apparently‚ the creature saw the couple looking at it and reached into the pond‚ grabbed a koi‚ dropped it into its mouth‚ and swallowed it. Furious‚ Charlie's husband pushed open the window and yelled at the creature to leave the yard or he'd call the police. The gnome grinned and laughed as he gave them the finger and disappeared. The police were called‚ being notified that an "intruder" was on the property‚ but when they got there an hour later the only evidence that was found was small footprints‚ about the size of a child's‚ around the pond.There were other times the gnome would visit the pond. Night after night it would be seen holding a yard ornament and eating a fish. The family eventually woke up‚ moved the ornaments‚ and put the fish into a tank inside the house. Apparently‚ this didn't go over well with the gnome. Upon the usual time of its appearance of 3:00 am‚ when the gnome saw that the yard ornaments and fish had been removed it went into a crazed frenzy and began yelling and screaming in some language that nobody could understand. But they understood it was pissed. It began to run around the house screaming in whatever language was native to it. The family felt safe until Charlie realized the dog door in the kitchen was unlocked and feared the creature would try to enter the house through that. She was able to lock it and then ran upstairs to close the rest of the windows. The last they heard of the creature was a very loud screeching‚ cackling sound that was heard underneath one of the living room windows. Charlie's husband went to investigate and saw the top of the creature's hat underneath the window."NOTE: I did find a reference to this in an older article written and posted at Mysterious Universe‚ but beyond that‚ there are vague mentions of the account online. The U.S. Government's response to the Copiapo‚ Chile mining accident has generated a variety of theories since the incident. The most curious theory involves Reptilian habitation.The following information was forwarded to me by an associate:I'm sure that many of you remember the mining accident that occurred in Copiapo‚ Chile in 2010. The incident brought worldwide attention to the entire region as the 33 miners miraculously survived what has been called “a cave-in” at the San Jose copper-gold mine in the Atacama Desert. The men somehow survived for a record 69 days. When they emerged safe and mostly sound‚ rumors began to spread from their friends‚ families‚ coworkers‚ eyewitnesses to the rescue‚ and others.The rumors centered on the miners‚ how they survived‚ and what they had experienced during the ordeal.The United States government became involved not long after the accident.  A U.S. drilling company was brought in to take the lead in drilling efforts‚ although this role has been somewhat minimized after the rescue. Upon rescue‚ most of the 33 miners were immediately quarantined and debriefed by black-suited U.S. agents of an unknown agency. Only 3 men were exempt from this initial debriefing because of extreme dental problems and required immediate dental surgery under general anesthesia.The official account states that the other miners were in general good health except for scratch‚ gouge‚ puncture‚ and slash wounds resulting from the cave-in and attempts to dig out. U.S. defense contractors‚ heavily armed‚ discreetly guarded a mini-compound occupied by U.S. interests inside the tent city that sprang up around the mining site.Immediately after “Los 33″ (the name given to the miners translating as “The 33″)‚ a team of NASA scientists entered the tunnel system‚ escorted by armed defense contractors and what appeared to be a Special Forces team‚ eyewitnesses reported. A perimeter was then secured around the entrance as a fence was erected‚ preventing further visual observation.So why was NASA involved? Here is the supposed official response. NASA was conducting soil tests of the most arid desert in the world‚ the Atacama Desert‚ which also happens to harbor an extensive array of large cavern systems perfect for simulated Mars research. NASA has stated that the arid conditions and cave formations in the Atacama Desert are good matches for the terrain on Mars and has dispatched a team of scientists there to explore the region's caverns. It has also been reported that this team of scientists has security provided by defense contractors and Special Operations operatives. This team of NASA scientists may be the very team sighted entering the San Jose mine after Los 33 was rescued. But why?While NASA publicly admitted to exploring the caves of the Atacama Desert to conduct “Martian research‚” their subterranean forays might have a classified mission attached to them as well.A defense contractor for security‚ who wished to remain anonymous to retain his or her position‚ stated that NASA was looking for alien life on our own planet. The life may or may not be indigenous to Earth‚ but certainly lives here‚ deep in major cavern systems‚ said the contractor. For years NASA has had reports of ‘reptoids’ or ‘reptilian humanoids.’ Something happened and they decided to begin investigating. Why in the Atacama?A statement from an unknown source began to circulate. "...we found things. Remains of weird‚ shredded animals. Molted skin or something. And there was a brief firefight after one of our contractors went missing. The strange thing about his disappearance was all the blood‚ and then reading that he had been killed in Afghanistan four months later.”NASA officially ended its Atacama exploration in late 2010‚ perhaps with the events leading up to the Chilean mining disaster in mind. The friends of Los 33 tell a chilling tale that is far different from the official account provided by mainstream media outlets.According to people close to Los 33‚ friends‚ family‚ and some who simply overheard the stories circulating around‚ the incident was no simple “cave-in.” This accounting has been pieced together from various conversations‚ emails‚ and written letters.Apparently‚ while searching for the source of a vein of gold‚ one of the mining detachments blasted through a wall of rock and discovered an enormous natural cavern on the other side whose walls shined with over a dozen thick veins of gold and other precious metals. The detachment members were quite happy and some of the men broke protocol by charging into the room to pick-ax gold nuggets. Word spread quickly‚ “like bad air‚” someone said. Soon‚ dozens of miners were all over the cavern entrance‚ picking at the gold‚ making lots of noise‚ and ignoring their jobs. As the detachment leader tried to wrangle the men back into the mine‚ a small group of men explored farther into the cavern.Soon‚ things quieted down a bit‚ as miners focused on picking at the gold veins. “Everyone was very happy‚” a miner’s relative stated‚ “until they heard screams coming from across the cavern. Most of the miners were spooked and ran back into the mines except for the detachment leader who ordered men from his team to come with him to help the screaming men.” By the time they got to the location of the screaming‚ it was too late. They found four or five men (it was hard to tell who was who and if all the parts were still there) in pools of splattered blood. “It was a gory mess‚” said someone. One of the detachment crew had gotten blood all over himself‚ having slipped on a puddle of it. He lost his wits‚ trying to wipe the blood and gore from his face with a fresh handkerchief (later confiscated by NASA for DNA testing). As they tried to calm him down‚ the detachment heard hissing and crackling‚ like nails or claws making their way across the wet stone. The team called for help on their walkie-talkies and immediately left the cave (“ran for their lives‚” in one email account).Having made their way through the blast hole‚ they realized that two of them were missing. More screams echoed from the cavern‚ these more bloodcurdling than the first set. The detachment leader made a decision as he saw “bloody‚ walking lizards” coming for the blast hole. He ordered the hole blasted shut immediately and set three crews to work. In a frantic rush‚ they rigged explosives as the “reptoids” advanced‚ still chewing on the remains of the doomed miners who had ventured too far.One or two reptoids made it through the initial blast hole as crews rolled wire down the tunnel‚ so as not to be caught in the blast. Reptoids now in the mining tunnels began to kill anyone foolish enough to challenge them with hand-held‚ powered mining equipment. Finally‚ the explosives were ready and the detachment leader ordered the blast.The explosion resulted in a cave-in of sorts‚ sealing the original blast hole under tons of rock. However‚ an untold number of the reptilian fiends were loose in their tunnels. Most‚ they hoped‚ had been killed in the blast‚ but no one was certain how many‚ if any‚ were roaming. More screaming told them that at least one was still lurking. At this point‚ the miners believed there were about 44 survivors in the area. After fighting with the reptoid in the dark for a few hours of hide-and-seek (and having many more deaths)‚ the remaining 33 took shelter in the protected area built for cave-ins. The area also prevented the reptoid from entering. Here they remained in horror and shock for the next 17 days as more cave-ins happened around them‚ unsure whether they were caused by the reptoid(s) trying to dig in‚ out‚ or from blast damage.Many of Los 33 have developed herpetophobia (fear of lizards‚ and reptiles) since their ordeal.NOTE: The associate who forwarded this information has mentioned some of these scenarios previously. He tells me that he talked to 3 of the miners over the years‚ but they preferred that most questions be answered by friends and relatives. The reason given is that most of the miners have suffered extreme PTSD. That may be true‚ but it also seems to be a somewhat convenient excuse. Nonetheless‚ I wonder what your thoughts are on this. A woman who used male aliases shot two people at Joel Osteen’s Lakewood Church in Houston on Sunday‚ according to police. Two off-duty police officers fatally shot the suspect‚ whose gun reportedly bore the word “Palestine‚” after she had opened fire in the megachurch.  Houston Police confirmed to The Daily Signal in a phone call that the investigation has not ruled out a transgender identity. A public information officer referred to the suspect as “they‚” noting the discovery of “court documents where they identified themselves as Jeffrey.” The officer stated that the department is treating the subject of the suspect’s gender with “sensitivity‚” and noted that the investigation is ongoing. In a news conference Monday‚ police cited “discrepancies” that may suggest a transgender identity‚ yet authorities insisted that the shooter was female‚ to their knowledge. “Our shooter is identified by driver’s license as Genesse Moreno‚ 36 years old‚ Hispanic female‚” Christopher Hassig‚ commander of the Houston Police Department’s homicide unit‚ said at the news conference. Her full name is Genesse Ivonne Moreno‚ according to police. “We do have reports she used multiple aliases‚ including Jeffrey Escalante‚” Hassig added. “She has utilized both male and female names‚ but through all of our investigation to this point‚ talking with individuals‚ interviews‚ documents‚ Houston Police Department reports she has been identified this entire time as female‚ she/her.” Police also said that they had discovered “antisemitic” writings in a search of items belonging to the shooter. He did not clarify whether her body had been identified as biologically female. The department did not respond to The Daily Signal’s request for comment as to whether she had testosterone in her system at the time of death. The coroner also did not respond to The Daily Signal’s request for comment by publication time. Fox News reported that Moreno had been “born as a man—Jeffrey Escalante—from El Salvador.” The shooter entered Lakewood Church bearing an AR-15‚ accompanied by a 7-year-old boy. Police confirmed the boy was shot and is in critical condition at Texas Children’s Hospital. They later identified the boy as the son of the shooter. An unrelated 57-year-old man was also shot and injured in the incident. Two off-duty police officers promptly killed the shooter before more injuries could occur. One officer works at the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission and the other works for the Houston Police Department.  If Moreno was biologically female‚ that would differentiate her from the vast majority of mass shooters. According to Justice Department research‚ published in February 2022‚ 97.7% of mass shooters in the U.S. have been male.  Last March‚ another female opened fire‚ at a school in Nashville‚ Tennessee‚ killing six. Audrey Hale‚ a biological female‚ identified as a male. Authorities have yet to confirm whether she had testosterone in her system. Biological females who identify as male often take testosterone as a cross-sex hormone‚ in order to appear more male. Higher amounts of testosterone give men larger muscles‚ more significant skeletal muscle and a higher percentage of red blood cells. Testosterone also tends to give men unwarranted self-confidence and aggression.  It remains unclear whether Moreno was female and identified as male‚ and whether she took cross-sex hormones such as testosterone‚ but the drug might explain why a biological female would perpetrate a mass shooting. Osteen‚ a popular Christian preacher‚ often draws criticism for promoting a “prosperity gospel‚” the idea that God wants Christians to be healthy and wealthy.
